the bonus you get for having medals can make getting started on a new save so much easier-I bought a house on the first day.I think the Hunter is probably the easiest to get going with once you learn to "lead" your shots so they connect where the mob will be not where they are when you fire.

You guys do realize that the more medals you earn, the more bonuses you get per game right?
Just keep trying as different things. and don't just recruit anyone from the barracks, make sure its the person that has good potential, not the 'average joe'.
Also, upgrade the weapons the AI uses every now and then. I got to lvl 30 and realized one of them was using a crap HMG.

Create a character with the Little Girl, and don't use the 'Go Searching' option a lot, use party/prayer/Collect eggs.*
Hunter with it's Bowgun (Why isn't it names crossbow?) is a good class.
*On the second page in the tower selection there are chickens, buy max of 50 and you get about 400gp avg.

POSSIBLE GLITCH: im not sure but i dont think that leech is working for the grav gun. i have lvl 3 leech on and wall hp never goes up even as whole waves of enemies die. (before anyone gets pissy, caps is to grab developers attention)

honestly this game is really really hard, i cant ever get past level 5. You dont get enough money, you dont get enough AP, and all the enemies take 2+ hits to kill. I mean if the AI actually helped it would be possible. Levels 1-5 should really be easy, but i cant ever seem to get passed 5. Also the "Go Searching" thing has more bad things than good things. LoL I got it at last .... Noble for the extra damage per level and an auto bow with 5 ya thats right 5 damage mods instaled by a level 10 engenier ... 108 damage befor my party bouns 50% and my level bouns 48% .... lol one hit drops a dam TANK!!!!

Currently on day 32 with a machine pistol mk-3 and a revolver mk-3. With the 35% extra damage from being a noble I can kill those silver dragons in 3 hits with my revolver

Great game, however the reload times can get a bit ridiculous. A pistol shouldn't take about the same time that a rifle does (it should be faster). That and the fiscal situation in the game is unbalanced, there isn't enough money to keep you castle and team in shape whil paying for 'Tax and upkeep'. I just think this game needs a bit of balancing.

Oh and then in my next game I got to day 15 and now a permanent bug with targeting has messed up the cooldown of each shot. So either the circle grows massive and never shrinks so i can't hit a thing or goes so tiny i can't see the cursor at all

I agree. I had a great game going until searching the town turned up 2 "taunt mods" increasing heal by 20% each and then not even a hired merc could save me

kwachi, stop being a grammar nazi. Anyways, I noticed an intense difficulty curve on wave 11 when the ballistas are introduced.

tried it with a bunch of mods including the crosshair mod... game is now a whole lot easier and more fun! seems more balanced... i'd recommend the creator put in an "easy mode" button with some of these because regular mode is frustrating... 5/5
