the game basically comes down to whether or not you find a good gun. if you do its incredibly fun, if not then quit and try again.

I finally made a good run...survived to day 30 (15 was my previous best). I did it with a Noble who happened to find a laser pistol. I'd like a chance with Gravity Gun, too, since it seems like it could be far more effective in the hands of an intelligent human (my ally didn't use it to its potential).

Also - look for guns with 3 mod slots. Some only have 1, which makes them useless. 3 mods allows for stuff like anti-armor + firing rate + damage. Especially on the gravity gun - where you want anti-armor and leech. Some only have 1 slot. Gravity has max 2 (I think) and autobow can have 3 if you find the right one.

The game. Never. ENDS. You get the Choosen One medal at day 150. But the game still goes on. So I'm assuming the game never ends...also, the Choosen One is not worth it. Only gives 1000+ Starting GP. You get Savior at day 80, for 750+ Starting GP.

best shooter i've ever played, duelists and hunters are the best two classes imo. Got a huge kick out of when i first used ragnarök, figured it would be the end for the enemies and not me lol. Btw, to avoid carry over s if you lose just refresh the page XD

I have given this game all the patience I am about to give. Very good game but way unbalanced. One round 3 sheep 4 rats 1 archer. Next round 4 catapults, 10 suicide bombers, 5 chickens, 6 warriors etc etc. Good try but I can't bother wasting anymore time on random games. 3/5.

this game is only hard at the very beginning before you start getting medals, now that the only medals i dont have are the hardcore mode ones and i think 1 on the first page, im now getting to like lvl 70 before i get bored and start over with a different setup

Despite my complaints - this game pretty much rocks when you figure it out.
On level 65 with a MK-4 autobow - with 3 mods (2 x Level 3 anti-armor, and Level 3 fire rate) + Level 7 bowmaster skill, I can pretty much wipe out a tank in .02 seconds lol. The whole screen is filled with arrows that can each go through 7 enemies at a time. That gun alone makes the game waaaay too easy. I also have 3 level 50 recruits, 1 with gravity gun, and 2 with level 25 shotguns. I just went through 10 levels with 0 damage.
I think the trick is: upgrade house immediately. Choose your recruits wisely (look for their skills). Have at least 1 recruit with gravity gun (with anti-armor and leech mod) set to take out bosses and armored mobs only.
Little sisters are pretty much useless with autobow (cause you blow them up before hitting ground). Also - make sure you develope "accounting" skill for at least one recruit - helps with money after level 30. If you get stuck, hire a henchman for a day.

quieten down! its not that hard. try going on casual with game mods, it's easy even for certain classes at the beginning like hunter.
anyone who's having difficulty can try sifting through previus comments, lots of good advice!

Reloading should be automatic when you're out of ammo. Also, about five times every round, the game freezes for like half a second in battle. it's very annoying.

Even on Casual play, at level 10, on certain characters.. it's just too hard. There's no point since you don't have the required skills and can't get passed it... 2/5

Oh man.... Explored the village three times on wave 70, each time a fool taunted the enemy raising their health... I'm scared...

Nope, rapid bowgun is still giving me pierced shots with the update. The regular bowgun has +1 piercing to start while the rapid one doesn't. That's probably where the mixup is coming from.

i can never get past the 15th day. it might be my own fault, but it keeps recurring no matter what i change in my strategy. i even tried it on casual with all of the helper mods on, but the difficulty still grows too fast. love the game and the idea, but lower the difficulty a bit, please. 3/5
