Kirkiss - fame feeds into the title promotions "claim title". the more famous you are, the higher title (and bonus money) you can get.

fame is always increased by killing enemies and such, once fame hits a certain level you can get a new title and salary.

idk what happened, but i am a lvl 10 hunter on day 11 and my targeting cursor is getting bigger and smaller at random times. Sometimes it gets as big as a catapult, and other times it is so small the bullets create a sort of "red dust" effect. i have acquired a new skill called "aimed shot" on day 10 from the boss battles. I was just throwing that bug out to you.

you have to fix the taxes, it really turns out unbelievably obsene later on, by dat 50 i am getting taxed over 2k gold!!, and i am just earning by my title 1k, it is just not reasonable that i am defending the city against CHICKENS, dragons and monsters and getting payed LESS than what they are taxing me for!!, i ended up on - XXX gold!, instead of helping you survive it is making it not able to continue on more waves...

hmm...let me add one real gripe tho: I'm not a fan of over-customization and leveling up of stuff that should really be provided by default. Like your choice of guns to buy shouldn't be so costly to refresh. And upgrading gun accuracy is not right if by level 50 my gun spread has still only shrunk by 39%, and I still have a ton of tiny stupid enemies to fire at that I can aim at just fine but still can't shoot at because of that damn gun spread.

I really like this game, but for some levels it is legitimately impossible to beat
like i was using rogue, and then the catapult things came, and i could only do like 2 damage per bullet
i mean cmon... really?

What use is "fame"?
Because every now and then when I go searching in town and get "... Your fame has been increased by 1."

You know, this game is well crafted, and I do appreciate it a lot. But the punishment factor for not upgrading the right crap is overdone. Playing a level over and over about 20+ times while continually dying and gaining no AP or Exp from the loss is really awful. The RPG element of the game is completely off at that point.
However, at least you threw us a few bones. Like using Ragnarok, netting $2000, and then intentionally dying about 15 seconds into the round, rinse, repeat, is a great way to get that cash for a few somewhat helpful upgrades that accept cash: As a result, I got about 36 sisters, and maxed sandbags (50% dmg absorbs). Though doing this took a damn long time.

There's a lot of glitches with the gravity gun. The armor damage doesn't compute right, and your teammates will occasionally fire it in random directions... from random positions, at random speeds. As I'm typing this, there's still a gravity ball sloooowly traveling across the top of my screen... and I'm in town. :P It was fired in the middle of the battle. It'll probably be there for the /next/ battle.

Wow, should definitely take off the auto save feature. Don't see why you didn't considering so many people requested it.

well, at day 41, there only rat and sheep ! so it's that the "you finish the first round", it's noob monster again, but the monster like fire guard or archer come back after, and tank after... well i have some rest at least

i don't even gain a single reward each wave now ! XD but i gain 600 - 1000 money per waves with my 75 chickens s great ! )

@cjp231: That' the thing. You have to man it up and survive with what you got. If you have a good start, then great, if you have a bad one, then work with what you have. Skill is when you can do well when the odds are stacked against you, not when you can beat an easy game.
Anyway, great game, it has kept me playing for a long time, and it shall continue to do so.

Rofl i find it sorta weird, that at the beginning of the game you have money shortage do to low sell prices on the stuff you get, but you have like 30 gold only on wages, now that i get like 2k from every item i get, i have wages of like 2k xD and upkeeps of 3k rofl... So heed my call, get chickens, they arnt useless, at some point you either get them, or deal being penny less after lvl 50 :3

Also the accuracy mod you can do on a new game needs to be seriously tweaked, I'll take a hit in XP no problem, as long as I can use some of the more "fun" weapons without worrying about getting slaughtered.

Ditto of that, there have been games where I got 10 perfect waves the first 10 days, others where I barely survived the first few days. The biggest issue I have is the randomness of the shots due to the accuracy of the weapon, I mean really why is there even crosshairs if the accuracy is so low you can literally have bullets fly anywhere on the screen? Makes using some of the heavy machine guns and heck even revolvers really useless.

Dafke: The game is pretty random. If you're lucky enough to get a good weapon and fight a pretty weak wave, then it won't be too hard. Sure, tactics matter when hiring a recruit, but a good lot of this game is luck.

word of advice: medals carry on to ALL games. I would go on Casual mode to get some medals for preparations for the harder modes.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Taunted enemies at lvl 50 and scored a perfect game, without ever using carry over...if you're complaining it's too hard you should really just reconsider your strategy ;)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Wish there'd be easier mode. Yea, i suck. But honestly, if you do not luck out the necessary skills, this thing gets nasty real fast.

Bowgun goes through targets without hitting them. And also doesn't increase in fire rate, regardless of and outside upgrades.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There are two major bugs. First one is that sometimes your mercenaries when equipped with the gravity gun will shoot backwards, meaning in the direction of the castle. The second one is that at higher levels your sisters go flying somewhere off the map most of the time!!

BobbySoSlo, you get chickens in the upgrade your tower section, PAGE 2! There's a little tab on the top right of the panel
