for the people who find upgrading hard, try the following.
level 1: just win
level 2: get an ally if you can get a good one, else invest all your cash in chickens + rob museum
level 3: as level 2 + gather eggs + rob museum.
continue untill you get the henchman you want. if you already got 1 save around 800g each level, buy chickens for the rest (and possible a storage slot or two, depending on your number of backup items).
if you play a charachter with the active skill focus it, if not get a npc with it as your first npc and focus it for him/her.
hint: invest all spare cash in chickens even when they cost a ton.
hint: at the first 10 levels it should be easy to get a "perfect game" with use of grenades and 1-2 repair upgrades, this give +30% bonus after each level so you can buy even more chickins :)
no need to buy wall upgrades before level 20-30, and only buy the museum upgrade if you got a ton of medals else its a waste.

Again - about the 5k-house upgrade - when do you start saving money for that? Should I try to get it as soon as possible, or should I spent on other improvements first and get the 5k house on, say, level 15?

very addictive game, but its very very annoying when your bolts go through 2 enemies without doing damage (yes im sure it should have hit), a bug that needs fixing :)

Get rid of tax or make things cheaper. Absolutely impossible (not just hard, impossible) to buy a house upgrade for 5000. That's ridiculous.

So if I've selected the continue game option ONCE I can't EVER get new medals? Even if I start a new game and DON'T ever continue? That really sucks. I hope it's a glitch.

Just an idea 4 balancing out the incredibly long reloads: make the field longer. after all, most guns should be able to shoot farther than that.

Lol i killed all the dragons from Ragnarock with only Auto Shotgun didnt use Holy Grail or grenades and got from lvl 7 to lvl 12 lol

to get the other classes u need to get the other clas... eg like hunter or summt level 10 without being on carry over mode

-Rats I dont notice while killing tanks
-Waves of dragons
-Waves of knights
-Waves of seemingly harmless dragonflies

Personally, I think the variability in finding guns is the most difficult part of the game.
Ideally, I think there should be a shop that has ALL the guns available to buy, whenever you want to upgrade. Buying weapons isn't too expensive and helps survival a lot more than upgrading the wall

Wish the "Defender" ability stacked... (1-nullifychance)*number_characters_with_skill=chance to receive dmg would be great. But, great game. Auto-Reload+Shotgun is also great; if enough time passes to have reloaded, you get a shell in, otherwise you can fire without pause.

You should use ragna + graal + lots of grenades, so your choice to make it easier
1 slot - gun with lots of ammo
2,3 slots grenades, as high lvl and quantity as you can get
4,5 slots ragna + graal
2-3 henchmen
you shoot until boss, then use ragna and grenedes on the hordes
when ragna tries to shoot use graal< destroy theme with everithing you have

beat ragnarok: use it a few seconds before the end of the day. It takes a while for the dragons to charge, so as long as the day ends you'll be safe :P
'Beat' ragnarok on level 3 this way.
