storm the house meets RPG. nice work! a top of the line game. !*!*!*!* BUT ... if you have a look at the top RPG games like "monsters den" and "sunny" you will notice that items which are available (dropped or in the shop) to the characters actually DO fit together with their level and class. here the spread of item levels is very high. maybe you could make the inventory larger. so players can keep items for later. or let players buy whatever they want at all times in the shop. but this randomness with all the restrictions is frustrating.

"badges stopped working" -like option when losing against a wave, you will no longer get achievements/badges. the game rocks.

I think the chickens don't generate enough money...I also think that the Hunter class is a little underpowered...and for casual mode, I think you should already have some money to start out with (Like 500g) or some upgrades, like 1 little sister, 3 chickens, and 2 wall upgrades or so, because casual is still incredibly difficult.

Pure awesome is all that can describe this game. Right now I'm going on my 49th day as a rogue. The key is really in making sure you have enough chickens to keep the money flowing in (along with the rogue bonus, it makes it relatively simple) and to get a fast repeating weapon like the quick bowgun.

Oh nevermind, I tried a militia, and the reloads so god damn slow, I died on the FIRST LEVEL! Starting weapons need a lot of adjustments.

You lie Kazuka, I've pretty much gotten to day 10 with only the starting pistol... Your teammates will pretty much help keep you alive throughout the game.

Rogue starting weapon is WAY WAY WAY underpowered. I haven't had a chance to play any other one yet, but if you're unlucky, and the shop doesn't sell a new item a rogue can use, you WILL die on level 3.

Cool idea, but in desperate need of play-balancing. As it exists now, it's just frustrating and not fun once you realize that your progress is basically dependent on randomness.

The one thing that makes this harder than it needs to be is that gun upgrades don't really keep up with your level. One time I had easy mode when my rogue got his laser pistol. Another time my level 13 hunter is still stuck with the rank 3 crossbow...
Guess I just have to upgrade the drop rate some more.

this is gonna be my 3rd[4th?] time writing a comment for this, so i'll try to be more constructive versus just simply bitching (because deep down, i DO like this game a lot) i think a good start if you're gonna update is give buying/selling a 1:1 ratio just to help with the money situation? and another thing that would be very ideal is to code for random items (just guns really) generation to come within 2 or 3 levels of the characters themselves? e.g. if you have rifle 13, only items that would come up would be those that requires rifle 11 - rifle 15 for instance, because requiring luck to make or break your game is just plain ol' retarded

This game is AMAZING. After playing all day I still can't get to 20 days on normal, but its been really fun trying. This isn't a storm-the-house remake; it's what storm the house could have been if it had a +5000000 awesome bonus. The in-depth world and RPG aspects are really cool too, which makes sense seeing as it's based off a rougelike. Speaking of which, I just downloaded your rougelike based solely off the fact this game was amazing. I hope it's good too.

those, who cant do it, try hunter with crossbow, then look for automatic crossbow. At rifle lv 12 it is dmg 20 atk speed 4,5\s (with 1 mod), no reload needed, and bolts penetrate (its 4 hits for big units)

Excellent game. It is in no way too difficult on normal. Complaining about the shop not having enough weapons...look into upgrading your smith, and never neglect hiring a henchman if you're having trouble beating a wave. I think this game is perfect the way it is. 5/5 ^_^

Just like everyone else is saying: the accuracy sucks, it's hard to earn money, badges stopped working, and it's only going to get worse later in the game when taxes increase. But aside from that, and some other minor issues it's a pretty good concept for a game.

Gosh how many chicken do I need for chicken king? I have over 100 already
PS. loling at the people who can't even make it past day 20

day 55 here...used sheriff with shootguns, weapon does like 50x9 dmg, some soldier mercs with grenades, and everything is fine, and dont forget to buy chickens ^^

This game is awesome but its too hard to be honest. Some guns like the automatic weapons ened to be rescaled, no way I can ever win with the recoil they have.

I think what would make this game a lot easier is if the house upgrades were a bit lower, or at the start, allowing more hires.

Then immediately the next day, I get four catapults, a boss, two hulking ogres and a BUNCH of berserkers running at me and lose right away.
Fix.This.Dude.

This game gets a little easier when you get better at shooting weak spots for massive damage.
When that fails, use an automatic.

I got a laser pistol, which is very inaccurate but it does the damage needed. if I manage to accidentally headshot enough things, I go into rampage mode. Admittedly, the 50-100 of rampage shots with this is FAR FAR BETTER. Also it's not 12 bullets now, it's 30~, so :-\ That helps. Accuracy is terrible terrible - making this more of a sidegrade, as most of my shots miss. Yes, even the dead- on ones.

all modes r the same , all of them r highly random. if you want to play a game as random as this, then i suggest you to play with dice.

first off, I LOVE THIS GAME, but around lv 15-16 it does get scary hard, fixing some balance issues would make this the best game on the site in my opinion

There's a little too much luck on which weapons you receive or show up in the store. If I get a couple bowguns in the hands of my party, things get a lot easier. Other times I'm stuck with a LVL1 weapon the entire time.

WTF? Why can't I equip the first f'n weapon that I find? The skill was in blue, but when I tried to equip it, my box is grayed out. F you, game. Suck it.
