Not "too hard", but too unbalanced. The point of upgrades is to let people make their own choices. Making some of those choices "wrong" by making the waves too difficult to win with takes a lot out of the game. I love the idea, but the execution is horrible.

Brilliant visuals, I love the concept, & it is fun. 5/5 However like previously stated: Fix money per round & difficulty ramps WAY to fast. 3/5 until corrected. I'd also like to see possibly save slots. I want to experiment a little more with things but don't want to loose where I currently am.

ok i really dont get this game...on the first level i get only like 2 guys in 5 minutes but at the last second at night i get overwhelmed by about 50 people and a boss

Ok..The only weapons which are even remotely worth using in my opinion..are the cross bows...the reload time for rifles are too high...and the accuracy is just insanely off..I understand wanting weapons to be more range specific..but come on..and machine guns..wow..they are just hilariously weak.

It tells me i need to upgrade the house, but give no explanation what-so-ever as to how i should go about doing that.

Definitely a good game, lots of open space to do what you want, but I can't stand that you have two options, skip the level or start the game over, and that skipping is such a penalty. A choice to retry a level really is needed. Worth a 4/5 to me just because the fun of it makes up for a lot.

Oh, yes, for everyone saying the game is hard: yes, it is. Elona is a roguelike, and that's the sort of games Noa makes - in short, you're not gonna win the first time. You have to set small goals for yourself - "I'm gonna get this medal. I'm gonna do this thing. I'm gonna get this far." And then the rewards you get for doing that stack up for each new game. Set a short-term goal, reach it, then start over. Set a new goal, reach it, start over. Eventually you'll be working towards 50-75 days like I am, and progressing towards the end.

The mute and pause buttons are in the bottom right hand corner, everyone. Other than that, it's a pretty good game. 4/5

OK. I got my level 35 Noble to Day 38 - this is like my 10th runthrough. I got the Prayer and Robber and Veteran badges this time, and maybe something else. It's almost 6 PM and I've been playing this since 6 AM. This game is frigging addictive once you look past the surface - it is the most well put together version of the classic idea I've seen yet, and holy crap is it hard and awesome. This game, it is win and kittens. 5/5 and I'm going to do what I can to see Noa win the award for this month because damn does he deserve it.

I am glad I am not the only one who thinks this games hard as hell. its a great game. As a sniper, however, what is up with the ever windening aiming reticule? Is that an accuracy upgrade that will help that or what? After a while it becomes impossible to hit anything.

The medal system works, but if you die once and chose to continue over, gaining medals will be disabled
no matter which medal it is
