My favorite is getting an average of 6 AP each day, even with all of the AP + awards, and two people with the maxed (10) active skill...

I have one major problem: the range for the assault rifle. In no universe is an assault rifle unwieldy at less than 400 yards. At bare minimum, it should be a middle weapon, not a short range weapon.

this is a really fun and addictive game. i dislike how incredible random everything is though. it is difficult to choose a strategy and stick with it because your skills pop up fairly randomly when you level up (even when you "focus" on it), and the shop sells the most random weapons... even really low level weapons and mods sometimes even when I am past day 50. It should offer guns and mods appropriate to your level and skill development. For these reasons I find it very frustrating. 4/5

@lingeringshadow, the "Active" skill randomly gives +ap at the start of your turn based on the level of the skill. if you have the mod on, you always get extra ap instead of randomly, but only half as much as normal.

theres a skill call like that. It gives ap point ramdomly (if you choose that option always gets but half the skill).

noname4444 if you reforge the gun it lost the last mod, this might help you.
intrig4 to unlock the other classes you have to get to level 10 the first ones. 2° I prefer the hunter, with it i achieved day 90 and still alive

On the community mod it says --You will get 1/2 AP from your Active Skill. But you always get full AP-- I have no idea what that means. can someone explain for me please.

@GarwooD : RNG is 80 days hardcore. It was a blast getting it. If you thought the earlier waves of same type monsters were bad, you don't want to play further =x.

Here's a question. For hunters who have over -200% range penalty, would having more than 200% mean you actually start getting a range bonus? O_O

So do you happen to know if hunters or nobles get the "killer" skill ?
The RNG award comes at 80 days of hardcore. My advice (this is how i did it) is to go sheriff with a good normal shotgun, max dr holliday, get a noble early for your grav gun and just hope you don't get jewed :)

If you guys get to the MUCH later levels and the game becomes too boring and repetitive, try mixing it up. For example, if you have a very big house, equipt all of your troops with pistols.

only people with rifle that get bow master are hunter and noble. some others can get it but is waste on small gun bows.

RNG award is just plain impossible to get. my record is 54 in hardcore so far, anyone know how many days is required for it?

power shot no longer works with auto fire mid. and you can test your self cause when power shot activates it make a blue bullet trail appear. also it apears it just doest work on bow gun at all.

2 Questions for fellow Elona Addicts:
1: Can hunters get the skill "killer" ?
2: Does power shot still work if you mod a non auto-fire gun (say, a pistol) with an auto-fire mod?
Don't need peoples guesses, just solid answers please.

It's nice to know people actually know what they're talking about. Most people go, "IT'S 2 HARD 1/5". It's supposed to be hard. QQ or pew pew. 5/5

I absolutely find it very annoying when I have to refresh recruits only to have the same class of recruit pop up again.

I'm really enjoying the game. How you start your game (choosing your character, primarily) really affects how well you do later in the game. It's also nice how random it can be--some other TD games are dull because all you need to do is save money to get a better gun. This game has a lot of options with upgrades, and I can appreciate that. Plus, the badge system really makes it worth the effort. :) Needs badges, too. 5/5

To add to my last comment if you start with a noble then buy a hunters riles as soon as you get chance and use it. Buy a few levels of luck and headshot everything you see. This should let you get perfects without a henchman up to at least level 8 and the luck skill should bring some cash in from the critical kills. After level 10 you should be looking to get a few levels of bowmaster and switching to bowgun as your primary weapon fairly soon.

Statues are just an in game beastary and sellable for cash. Bowgun is the best weapon with penitration but its best to have options so choose noble (Get lvl 10 hunter to unlock) have bowgun and a heavy weapon preferably a grenade launcher for waves of weak mobs like dragon flys. By level 40 you want to have a hunters rifle on standby for the improved air mobs. Put some grenades and a repair hammer in your other 2 slots.
