@ Momen333 (3) I forgot the most important aspect of your followers. Only buy expensive followers. The more a follower costs at a level, the faster he will develop aim and teamwork. A level 1 follower should cost at least 55 gold. Use your AP to refresh recruits till you find the right ones to build a good party. As a general rule - in the beginning use one AP to collect eggs and the rest for finding good recruits. Once you have assembled your party it is time to eat dinner and rob in the museum.
If you want to play long and don't play a rogue as hero, hire a rogue (you can also hire two - one for rifles and one for small arms). They might be not as strong as some other classes, but in the long run, they will be your main source of income.

@Momen333 (2) Shotgun followers are an exception. They should develop useful party skills first. Shotgun 4 and an auto shotgun are good enough. Other low level shotguns also work quite well, but the auto-shotgun is much better against tougher enemies and for boss days.
As a sidenote: Although the auto shotgun is probably the best weapon for a follower I prefer a normal shotgun for the hero. It does not need reloading intervals (press space all the time). It is often difficult to hit quick small enemies with the auto shotgun.
If you ae lucky, one of your supporting characters develops the leadership skill (can be learned by sheriff, guardian and ranger). Focus on this skill. It makes your followers much better.
Regardless of your strategy and party - try to get the the skill cook, boost your trainer and eat dinner as often as possible.

@Momen333 (1) Although shotgun heroes are easier (if I play Sheriff I reach level 40 HC at least 90% of the time) I also think rifle headshotting is the most fun. It is difficult to reach level 40HC if you use a hunter rifle and do not have have a weapon with at least 4 slots. A bowgunner also needs a good weapon. Rifle heroes usually need mods which improve the fire rate (autofire, fire rate). Depending on your class and weapon the skills burst or power shot are also almost a must.
Improve your chances to survive is by boosting your followers. Focus their training first on weapon skills. A high level (I recommend at least 17 for small gun, 15 for Rifle 15 and 11 for Big Gun) is very important. Give them good weapons (for example laser pistol MK2/3 , revolver MK 3/4, assault rifle MK3) and don't wait till you have level 3 mods to boost their weapons. You will find better weapons and mods for your followers later, but if you don't boost them now, there will probably be no later.

Tip: all the shotguns damage must have x, like 16x8, also shotguns got really low Accurey (or what ever it called) so you dont need to upgrade the accurey when you level up if your (shierff) you just need get up the Shells shotted when level up, if dont Appear try get up Capalal it will get you more option when you level up, + if helpful

CHICKENS! No, really. Chickens are a good investment if you have upwards of 500 spare coins. This will help you get some money. Let people see this!

@redunited - There are only two ways to increase your max AP. The first is through the skill active. If your hero or one of your supporting characters has this skill you can get up to 10 additional AP. Active can be learned by the Rogue, Ranger and Noble. The second way is through medals (boomer, provoker, prayer). This can give a further +3 on your max AP. Theoretically you can have up to 17 AP. But there is an element of chance to this bonus AP. I have played this game for hundreds of hours and never had 17 AP on a single day. If you play casual, you can enable the community compilation mod. With this mod you get 1/2 AP from your Active Skill. But you always get full AP.

for those complaining about arrows "going through" monsters, look at the field and where your character is, if you're shooting into the air you're shooting up, not to the top of the field. so due to perception it looks like your arrows should hit but really they aren't cause they shouldn't. rapid bowgun+multiple rate of fire mods FTW!!!

I like how I have a positive outlook for everything is this game. Such as... "you will die in 2 days and all your family will be shot." "Oh,good."

everyone who complains about the difficulty: It's supposed to be that way, start with casual AND laptop mode, and keep restarting games with the medals earned in previous games. it's hard, but it's fun for weeks, literally.

i personal like the sniper right now im on day 13 and lvl 15 with 2 friends and its getting so difficult right about now... theres those purple dinosaur ppl everywere and not to mention on EVERY 2 WAVE it sends about 6 suicide bombers... IM A SNIPER! NOT A HMG!!!

Shonji. It's all strategy and skill. Maybe hunter isn't a class for you. You have to gather good party, achieve some medals. You're exaggerating, I have never had so many suicide bombers at once. If you're a beginner, just play on casual. You can always replay a day if you lose. Hardcore is good when you have a lot of medals. 80 day on casual, 50 on hardcore, not good as I want but still trying ;)

Truthfully give the game a shot, It is difficult at first. Use some of the comments to get a good feel, and get to day 10 with all of the characters so you unlock all the extras. You'll get the hang of it, and it's really fun x)

exactly, its a fun game, its just stupid how it goes from easy as crap for the 1st 10 days, then BOOM, balistae+suicide bombers, all the while 10-100 rats rush you as well as dozen of barbarians, it just becomes too much to handle, no matter what you start your class as

I like the game but it's just too hard and money is too scarce. It's ridiculously hard to get past even day 10 on casual mode without going to carry over mode. In the 2nd (if there will be one) i would like it to be much easier.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i seriously hate this game, i never am able to get far(past day 10) because theres always those f*cked up levels that throw 10+ balistas at you at once or a constant stream of those suicide bombers. how some people get to day 100+ is beyond me, because to me, they f*ck you over in the early days that you can't even get past the beginning.
I mean cmon, how is a level 10 hunter (of anyone for that matter) suppose to deal with 20 suicide bombers in the course of about 5 seconds?
