It took me 5 tries to beat level 14 on my rogue. Then I finally beat it and get the "carried over" glitch where the town screen freezes and it doesn't save :(

Made it to level 50 at last (on casual) using a Sheriff with a shotgun, gonna have a go on hardcore with a Noble as they get good bonuses - I found the key was to level up house and get minions asap. (@Shoat - their special power isn't using all weapons, its a bonus to accuracy/damage, the all weapons is just to let you chose what you want to use at the beginning)

fun game, but I don't like most of the weapons and then it's random whether you get a weapon you want (found or shop) and the skills to match. that part makes it not so fun.

This is a fantastic game. Really enjoying it. The later levels are bit unbalanced, and I find myself preferring to just start a new game when I get past day 25 or so.

The noble is not bad at all. At level 50~ you have 46% more accuracy and damage through talents. I recommend abusing that with Shotguns shooting 10 bullets a time. If you do this day 50 is easy. Remember to go to barracks and Focusing Shotgun skill.

To be honest I have lost this game more than any other on Kongregate but for some reason I still love it... I have been trying to play it never using the Carry On option and it's bloody hard

I think this game is awesome because it uses an actual RNG and as such every time I play it's not the same boring "hey look, now spawns the whatevers" or "air wave as always, yawn". And there's a lot of content and playstyles, too. Can't argue with that.
And if you're complaining it's hard, well IMO it's still too easy. Seriously, you get bonus stats and stuff for achievments! And *good* bonuses stats, not like the cheap +1%s on M&B ^^

All extra classes are unlocked by reaching level 10 with any of the other classes.
I believe Noble is unlocked by Militia, but I'm not sure. (you shouldn't really use a noble though, because their special power - being able to use all weapons - is pretty useless as you won't be able to use high level weapons unless you specialise into one type)

This is an incredibly annoying game. It's luck if you get the right weapon with the right skill to be able to properly defend. The only part of the game that is really up to you is point and click. Otherwise dont waste your time with this.

o yea last thing to much rats do 2 damage not that much but distract u from more important guys if u let them go they kill u because to much if u kill them more important guys kill u

Good game, but really needs a lot of tweaking. Either make the enemies slower/less frequent or give the weapon and AI better accuracy/damage.

If you think that is too dificult:
Get a Hunter, keep the bowgun, max bow master skill and level up rifle skill. Use bowgun and rapid bowgun as primary weapons and have a powerfull rifle do use againts boss and strong units.
In the party:
One with shotgun
One with small gun( Rogue for coin bonus)
One with big gun
You will get to day 50 in few hours with this strategy

omfg............im on day 44 and i have some comments
1st:ranorock..... i beat it not that hard no i didnt chicken out by doing it next to end of level i did acually kill all dragons...
2nd:archers do to much damage(6) wont be problem if u didnt send so much out..
3rd:take away the tiny fly things to small to hit and u do hit them but to much to kill all with whats all going on

I wouldn't recommend using Ragnarok unless you have 2 Cups on hand... Ragnarok is a bonus fight type of item.. it won't help you out of a tough situation...

raganok during nightfall, then use your immunity damage item, then wait for game to end. you dont have to kill them to win them.

@rydy - carry over mode just allows you to get a bit of extra money at the cost of not being able to get any achievements, you unlock the other 4 classes by getting to lvl 10 in each of the starter ones (see the museum for details)

wow was it really neccesary to make the auto shotgun shoot over the entire screen after 3 shots let alone make the accuracy on it so horrible ( even with 20% less spread) that it is COMPLETELY useless?

you should change lvl 41+ they're just too long and annoying (and seriously, why is a sheep suddenly hitting harder than a dragon ?)

cool idea and good rpg system, but all weapons are too inaccurate and slow, making the waves >9 nearly impossible to beat, except with an high carry over grinding, that steals all my will to play.

This might of been said before, but I noticed a little problem with guns like the assult rifle. Sometimes the cursor will get so small that it is no longer displayed on the screen. When that happens, although your shots are really accurate, you have no clue where you are firing. Also, it would be nice if your cursor could contrast more with the background so you can keep track of where your cursor is.

This game sucks when you start it and then gets better as you actually understand it until you're completely addicted. Unless if you give up before then. I think that if this game had a better learning curve, this game would be perfect. Still 5/5 though.
