game needs serious balancing. it's way too hard until you get a gravity gun and leech mods. then the game becomes too easy.

Has anyone else noticed a bug where you don't get to learn a new skill when you level up? I thought I saw it on my Militia and now I'm sure I saw it on my Noble, I looked down at my exp halfway through the day and it was at, like, 5 so I know I leveled, but I didn't get to learn a new skill...

3 days now and still to hard... youre making stupid mods that dont seems to effect the game. what it needs is less sudden waves of 20 enemies rushing at you on level 9 when you have a sniper rifle.

@ZZT2: No problem, when I started I actually was confuse don it myself and didn't think to use the Help option until way later, since I didn't realize how complex this game actually was.

@ all the people who keep asking: It tells you in game exactly what a perfect game is in game. A perfect game is a game in which your health is full at the beginning of each wave. This is why it can appear that you didn't have full health and still had a "perfect" game. You were healed to full and then preceded to drop down later. As long as you've been healed to full each wave it doesn't matter how much lost you life. You could finish a day at 1 life and as long as you had full health all the previous waves still earn a perfect game.

Uh, I must disagree ZZT2, I've lost health mid-wave before and still pulled off a perfect because my repairers healed me up. Perhaps it's just that your HP must remain the same for each wave, would make sense as if you don't include repairers and hammers, it would mean you didn't take a hit.

@InazumaRaijin: No, you have to take no damage at all. I've survived a wave with full health and failed to get a perfect, while I've went in to battle with my health below full, had it not change at all, and still managed a perfect.

For some the difficulty is OK and for others its just impossible because everything is way too random and luck based. IMO we should be able to choose how to distribute our skill points, and the shop should aways sell 1 of each weapon type.

o and if ur realy struglling with the extremely early days try usin casual mode and laptop difficulty mods then the monsters r 30%slower and alot easier if u still cant win, try new guns
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the game is easy up till day 30 wen u start findin ragnarok dragons randomly and airborne dragons and at day 41 it starts over and sends hordes of rats chickens and sheep at u, if ur complainin about day 10 or lower then dont say its all luck cuz u just dont know wat gun to use
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i just made it to day 48 lvl 53 noble and never got a ragnarok, i love ragnaroks cuz the easiest way to win is use high lvl grenades (5 at least probly, 3 or 4 of em too) and 2 holy grails of jure then if u hav a henchman and 1 maybe 2 other shooters and ur usin a crossbow ull win no sweat if u know wen to use ur grails

I don't see why most people complain about this game. In my opinion, a perfect game has difficulty. THis game doesn't recharge health, which shows difficulty. I think that most of those games are far too easy, simply because the guns are overly powerful, the castles have 1000 HP to start out with...it makes it impossible to lose. :/

if anybody needs any help i can get to lvl 50 easy cuz i worked for the medals, get 120 chcikens and ull get tons of cash outta them on ur next file and to get far easily start as a hunter for the crossbow or start as a noble and hope for a crossbow i always take noble cuz its skills r helpful and it can use any and every weapon if u focus those skills

By the looks of things i'm not the only one trying to get the Fire rate mode for my crossbow :P (also level 72, day 72)

I love this game, but it's way too random. I mean, first I get my arse handed to me by a couple dozen tanks , ballistas and dragons (one flying) during the first 45 seconds of the level. Then the next time I try that same level I only face one tank, two ballistas, and three or four dragons. Apart from that it was just a swarm of rats and sheep that were easily mowed down. I mean it was the same level but I got shellacked the first time yet finished the second attempt with perfect health. Also I'm at day 126 one one game and still getting weapons as low as lvl 8, while I'm on day 42 on a different game and can't get a weapon under level 15.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm on day 72 on normal ) non carry over. And i have to say that this game would be much better if. weapon mods were not lost when upgraded or if u could remove them from you weapon to add another. Or even beable to add more weapon slots for mods. But like stated before. Allot of the game is based on luck and not rpg lvl and grind and upgrade. I have failed 3 times when i got to lvl 30+ and no good weapons were dropped or for sale in blacksmith.

loved the game...should be a ranking to see who has made it the most days..with no continues..with continues and as each class..do it 5/5

piple: to answer your "all monsters dead question", you do not need to have all of them dead. ive had may incidents were ive had 2 or more enemies left and ive won.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
A perfect game means your castle has full HP at the end of the round. I think but i'm not sure, all monsters have to be dead before it says you win.
Leech can help you get it, but if you use a repair kit you won't get perfect. ._.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Arashmin, that's why there are classes. It wouldn't make any sense for, say, a Sheriff to go around toting a sniper rifle because that isn't what a Sheriff does. Each class is its own specialist, if you don't like their skillset then change classes. And Baru, a perfect game is when your HP at the start of each wave is full (repairers will heal you just before it checks, so they help a LOT if that's your only goal)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What exactly defines a "perfect game"? I'm going for the Master Defender medal, and would like to know what to aim for.
