I'm still getting the castle error, I have no " ` " key on my keyboard, reloading and rebboting pc didn't resolve, neither did restarting with a new champion.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It gets stuck on the loading screen! I am honestly surprised this happens here because ever since I got a new computer, every game is perfect.

I absolutely hate the "amplify" damage per turn mechanic that enemies get. Not because it makes them more difficult (the balance is fine) but it ruins all defensive/control/curse playstyles and turns it into YET ANOTHER card game where the optimal strategy is to rush rush rush early before anyone can set up any complex or interesting strategies. It really makes a ton of items worthless and less variety is always sadface :'(
We put it in due to previous complaints about fights being too long (e.g. if you get 4 shields and 1 damage, you can have fights that take forever), so we probably want to keep something in the game to prevent you from wanting to do that. But how about if "Amplify" starts happening after a countdown of 5-10 rounds? Then your strategies can be based on longer combats (but not infinitely long). EDIT: It now starts on round 11, hopefully that's plenty enough time for the reasonable longer strategies.

Whenever I try to enter a castle, I get an error message and the console pops up. Had never had this happen before. Playing Huntress. Called from module WebPageController.enableErrorCatcher/window.onerror@https://playsaurus.com/kongPokerQuest12/PokerQuest.js:7990:7
Called from module The error message.
There's been an update so it shouldn't happen anymore, but if it does, you're probably on the old version. Try pressing ` to close the console and try again. Press Ctrl+Shift+R to load the new version

I don't think the prince of hearts is overpowered, I think the druid and hunter are too difficult to get going. The ease of activating the initial prince of hearts equipment, and the nature of them not being limited to X charges affords you greater customizability with ancillary equipment.

the new hero is well balanced, I definitely didn't just deal over 600 damage in one turn using only his starting items
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
oh...so for those that don't know, you can remove equipment for chips. Or most of them. The huntress class, that starts with duke, you get food for removing it. I thought it was weird. It took me awhile. I just realized where that food is coming from... poor duke, I would never...

The new character, The Prince of Hearts, seems a bit over-powered as compared to the others, mainly in that all the monster effects that take place upon being damaged are nullified by using enflame on what you can, then using The Prince's special ability to inflict Flammable 2. If you do this to a card/ability that the monster probably won't get this turn, or possibly the next, then you can rack-up insane amounts of enflame, especially if you get those powerful enflame items that give +200% enflame if criteria is met.
Not that big of an issue, though, because The Prince of Hearts is great fun to play AND is the last character to unlock. Personally, I quite like him as is, but others might be concerned about apparent "power level".

I received a random Duke card whilst playing as the Wizard. With no use for it I tried to sell...
Next time I'm just going to keep it in my bag.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It is good in a lot of ways. Suggestions: First, the contents of the bag should be visible. Clicking back and forth is tedious, and leads to forgetting elements that could be used in battle. Second, the rewards are too small. Spending most of your assets to defeat a super difficult boss or dungeon shouldn't came with a 6 gold reward or even a 12 gold reward. It's too small a prize for the grind. Maybe one of these special wins can give a new currency that can be converted into anything a player needs. In my opinion, there should also be a way to buy? oneself backwards to other battles/shops after "passing them."

Being able to see the rewards for each enemy helps for example a sleepy giant gives +5 chips and a goat +8 on my map. I'll go for the most +chips.

Wasin't there a command to unlock all characters I cleaned my computer recently so all my save data is gone. And i'm not playing huntress again to unlock the prince.

It worked well but I can't load the game anymore since the v12 (Jan. 8, 2020) update. The loading bar always gets stuck when it reaches the club.

I think a better explanation of the churches would help(do you have the option to switch what's enhanced? Does it add the +1 only at the same church or any?)

The new updates are a great improvement in the right direction, both for ease of life and gameplay. Seeing the enemies in advance allows strategy, planning, makes storing extra items for special enemies useful and mitigates bad rng. Btw, do rethink why the players complained regarding length: It may not have been the actual length but a combination of fiddliness, sameness of enemies/attack options/available cards, lack of strategy needed, enemies being too spongey, safe save issues, etc. An option for longer games is not be a bad idea, but I'd maybe focus on tweaking the balance on one length first, and re-add that later. All tat said, I can see you're on it, I've got high hopes. So far this is an unpolished gem, and they're rare finds, favouriting. Kudos!

Would really appreciate: disable feed(I know what just happened, I was there), disable animations, disable shadows
Runs very slow for me, and I regularly emulate console games.

Would like to have the game length back options back, and need a longer run than 4, would be stoked to see an 8 and maybe endless.

Newest update hurts the druid, he was a defensive player that could control the enemy, but took longer to finish the fight. Regardless loving this game and am waiting for more.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game failed to load for me because my adblocker blocked the "reddit" and "twitter" icons (and the game loader crashed because those were blocked).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The fact you are updating this, adding characters, icons..makes me enjoy the game more. I hope once its somewhat done, you sell this game on Steam with maybe just a touch of higher quality drawings because this game IS that enjoyable.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
really stuck on druid, he cant do any damage at the outset without using energy after cursing an item, which is really unreliable and weak
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Rogue is ridiculously underpowered. He has absolutely no steady chance to get decent damage with his only decent starting card being a single use only.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I've played all the characters and huntress and rouge seem the best. Poison is already awesome in this game as the enemies life goes up and the fact that the huntress gets poison from the start is amazing. The best part of the wizard and druid is card manipulation for greater poison effects.

I am genuinely loving this game. Been a while since I can say that. Last time was Rogue Fable 3 and I fricking bought that game. Well done.

After just ending me turn against the explosive ooze for 200 rounds, his explosive is at 7.605903601369376e+30. This thing has the power to destroy the universe

I'm finding the wizard very weak at first, took 75 damage from first three combats, very difficult to get a pair with only 2-3 cards.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I am enjoying this game very much. it took a bit to get used to the mechanics, could probly use some sort of a notebook type thing to explain what all the different things do, some are not 100% clear until you try and use them. thank you for putting it up!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good, but the fact that when you die you staret over from square 1 with nothing to show for it is the reason why I won't keep playing.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm finding rogue much better than knight, that shank has a good chance to one hit most of the enemies in world 1 on easy.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I LOVE this game. It's super simple to learn and still has depth of play. The only issue I have found that irritates me is that if the Wizards sleeve gets charmed (1), any card inserted gets sent to the enemy, not just 1 of them. I had a level 4 wizards sleeve before I found this and it took all 5 cards I inserted and not just 1 as I thought. Maybe I misunderstand. Other than that, add this to mobile. I would love to play it all day.

Some things do need a bit of tuning though.
If your shield is enflamed, there is no way to block the damage. Enemies can block this. Vice versa, poison seems to trigger before enemies can use their cards instead of the end of their turn.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I would love a legacy aspect. Like for every world you finish you start with +1 chips or something (turn on/off for those who like more challenge). Mechanically solid game, and honestly even the sketched graphics have a charm. Love it!

I just upgraded my Peer at the blacksmith to Peer+ and was disappointed to find out it only gives an initial "Reveal 2" upgrade, meaning after one use it returns to zero and only increases by 1 per turn because the upgrade doesn't affect "Each turn this isn't used, Reveal increases by +1".
