Under rating threshold (show) I have elements on the moon that don't seem to being mined. Or does moon mining even matter? Maybe a description of how much is being mined by each upgrade.

Under rating threshold (show) nice base for a game, but i wouldnt call it a game...i miss something what i can do. there is just waiting(create a clickbased action or sth else)...an u need some uns for all this elements(a mothership with stuff to upgrade for faster minig)...and finaly a little bit of a story(something about: why ur there and where u wanna go) would round it up and u can start to call it "game"

Under rating threshold (show) All kinds of screwed up. Gains go up linearly with cost of exploring a planet, exploration-cost-multiplier goes up with more solar systems discovered. I saw things where checking the galaxy-map then going back to a solar system changed the exploration cost from 4 billion to 81 quadrillion.

Under rating threshold (show) Would like to see some representation of what is bought, would make sense to limit the amount of representation at a point.. But with Gastyz suggestion that I particularly like, upgrading the devices themselves would be great. Should try one of the popular idle games here on Kongregate to get some ideas (like how they give you the feeling of progression but yet, your still playing an idle game, such like that) I like the idea and the galaxy map is pretty cool looking, needs more /game/ though. (Haven't rated since I figure you will add more with time :) )

Developer response from Pokernauta

Thanks for you comment Gheij, I'll add more visual feedbaks on the next updates.

Under rating threshold (show) Phosphorus comes up as sulfur for some reason, and I haven't found any sulfur to unlock to see if the reverse is true. This game could use a sub-menu that details all the unlocked systems and keeps track of income from each. Also, it would be really helpful if the ESC key backed you from a moon to the planet, then to the sun, then the galaxy map. And it would be nice to have a button that collected cash from all the elements at once. Good game so far, Pokernauta, keep adding to it and I'm sure it'll be the next huge idle game.

+ - !

(4)

Developer response from Pokernauta

Thanks for your comment.. I think it's fixed now. About the keys, I'll add it to my todo list.

Jan. 09, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) It's a good concept, but you're missing quite a few things. For instance, if I'm not mistaken, I think each element sells for the exact same price so what's the point of "searching" for the other elements then? Also, exploring the planets is annoying. You may as well just pop up a chart once we enter each individual galaxy that says what resources are available then buy them from there instead of going to each individual planet. One more thing, unlocking 1 planet shouldn't increase the cost of all the other planets. The prices should be constant.

+ - !

(4)

Developer response from Pokernauta

Thanks for your comment.. I think the price is fixed now. I'll add more items, upgrades and visual stuffs on the next updates.

SkyCharger001

Jan. 09, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) A: clicking on an element to sell it can result in the object floating behind it being selected as well (EG: jumps to star while user tells it to sell phosphor) B: clicking on an upgrade while star/planet/moon floats behind results in it being selected instead of the upgrade being bought.

Under rating threshold (show) It's a good idea, i hope you plan on improving the game. I have an idea, the number of mineable planets/moons should influence the unlock cost of a system.

CardboardEmpress

Under rating threshold (show) Scrolling using mouse wheel needs adjusting: Galaxy view zooms FAR too slowly. Star view: zooms MUCH too quickly. Very difficult to zoom in slowly to pick one planet, or its moon. Clicking on the name of a moon displays an entirely different moon. Don't know if I own it, don't seem to be mining it, either. When scrolling into Galaxy view, this raises the unlock prices of systems and planets by 5 times (? someone else can do the maths), each time you do it. But, mainly because I can't click on the planets or moons I've bought and put mining equipment on them, the game is essentially unplayable.

Under rating threshold (show) Part 2 (Suggestions): Others have suggested that some elements should be rarer and more valuable than others to encourage exploration. I totally agree. Adding my own twist, it might be nice to make a use for the elements. If the elements have no use but to sell, people will ignore the cheaper ones for the more valuable ones. I think the later upgrades should require certain amounts of different elements. The better the upgrade, the rarer the materials required. For this example, let's assume rarity goes from left to right (carbon is common and sulfur is rare.) Perhaps the first rover might cost 1000 carbon and 500 hydrogen but the first station might cost phosphorus and sulfur, respectively. Of course, the amount of materials required should go up as you continue to build on the same planet, like the current cost does. I do like this game! It's a great idle game as it is, giving it 4/5 until the kinks get worked out. Can't wait to see where this goes! :D

Under rating threshold (show) Sulfur instead of Phosphorus on moons in first system. Every time you visit the galaxy screen the next system unlock price increases, and already unlocked systems revert to base price for mining upgrades. Like it so far, depends where you go with it.

Jan. 08, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) Part 1 (Issues with the game): I'm attempting to compress a lot of criticism/suggestions here, so I apologize if this seems harsh or vague at some points: 1) The price to unlock a solar system goes up every time you check the map, make it go up every time you unlock another system. 2) Each planet should only show what was built on that planet and how much of its resource it produces per second. 3) It should be cheaper to build things on a second planet (in the same solar system) rather than continue building on the first one. Right now it's better to stick to one planet and ignore the rest. 4) It's ridiculously difficult to get around the solar system. A few suggestions: make the planets larger and slow down their orbits so it's easier to see them and click on them, reduce the font size for their names so they don't overlap so much (perhaps make them only show up when you hover over the planet,) fix the camera in a bird's eye view so all planets are visible at all times.

Under rating threshold (show) trying to select a moon is like clicking on the right pixel, wouldn't hurt to have a menu. there is no strife, no difficulty. simply load up a planet with some bases and stations and move on collecting more money as time goes on, painfully slow to start and mathmatically increasing. this a good foundation to an economy sim. but did the pre alpha videos showed a much . much better game. also phospherous moon is giving me sulfur. Gastyz

Jan. 08, 2014

Under rating threshold (show) Feedback: 1) solar system exploring costs should increase because of the amount of system already explored, not each time you come back to the galaxy. 2) elements should have different prices, according to rarity (make carbon more common and $1 the unit, and for example oxygen more rare and like $10) 3) also, price of elements could have a little variation overtime, prices dropping and rising (if carbon price is $1, it could change between $0.8 and $1.2 overtime) 4) above the amount of each element, add the current minning rate of each one per second. 5) if inside a solar system, same like 4, but for the minning rates in that system only 6) in the galaxy view, add those rates of 5 in the info pop up of each solar system. 7) general upgrades for your probes/bases/mechs so each one yields more mining per second (say, you upgrade your probes schematics, and all the probes you have are improved 5%) and to improve your exploration/unlock costs

Under rating threshold (show) Wait, my previous comment was wrong, it seems to only increase the costs of some things, not everything. Under rating threshold (show) I love the game and the look of it but feel the speed could easily be turned up or collection amounts as of currently there are no upgrade features to better optimize our collections. The option to upgrade base to haul more or if you have x amount of mechs and x amount of bases you get a bonus. These are a few ideas I think the game would benefit from.

Under rating threshold (show) The rising prices are seriously meesed up. How is it that exploring a planet cost 90k and after going to galaxy map and back again it's suddenly 148k? That is just a bit too steep for 1.5$ per second income. :(

You have to unlock a star and a planet. After that, choose one of the 6 upgrades from a planet. Each one will mine the planet element for you. When you have more the 1 element at the top hud, click on the element to sell it and convert it to cash, that will be used to unlock other planets and stars.

Under rating threshold (show) This is a relaxing little casual game, well not so little whenever you think about it being galactic hahaha. I enjoyed it for about 30 minutes, good time waster. If I have to criticize something, it would be the implementation of using the mouse scroller. Some people may want to play on a laptop without a mouse (you could use the arrow keys, up zooms in, and down zooms out) Also a minor change, in the first paragraph you said "Collect as many cash as you can" when it should be "Collect as much cash as you can" since cash is singular.
