i can do frantic mode with the lowest defense ship with all visibility options off against a black sky. only other option it needs is "disable explosions" 5/5+fav+tip. very fun game!

Anyone know why I can't buy "Curved" or "Beam"? I've got tons of money, but they're greyed out. When I hover, all I get told is "not bought" - gee, thx, I knew that...

wow, this realy got a bug, try go to the menu, and then go into options and chance the music volume, its funny! :D and it totally glitches in the end of the song ^^

Maik, You're probably not scraping lasers. Anything that is small and shoots out is a "bullet". The only thing that are really "lasers" are the long persistent beams. Some bad wording in an otherwise great game.

This game is really well done. The music complimetns the amount of action. Also Frantic mode is as difficult as it should be. Most games of this type don't have the proper difficulty levels. The bullets are cool to it's not like most gamesv where every ship fires the same looking bullet. There are multiple bullet deseigns. So overall this game is really great and I am lookinf forward to another one.

I would like to share the way I got a x136 combo. Use the "sixth" ship (choose 5th ship, start a game, quit game, choose 5th ship again, hit back, choose 4th ship, start game and you will have the free wingman from the 5th ship starting with the 4th ship) and never replace the wingman card or try to upgrade it because that will just re-buy it at level one. Frantic Mode episode 3 is not difficult with this ship, and on level 5 there is a constant barrage of enemies coming from the top and bottom of the screen. Simply strafe left and right while on the very bottom so you can hit them constantly and your wingman will take care of anything you miss. I would fully upgrade the Classic main weapon.

I agree. But it's only an easy hard badge because the game let's you take advantage of the rules. It should have locked you out of the kamikaze and commander powerups along with the Green Heart.
@danultimate: What I used for the laser scraping is the boss mode in extras. Pick either the 1st or 4th ship(since they don't fire to the side). Either the 3rd or 4th boss in has 2 lasers and if you stay off to the side while avoiding fire, you can farm the scrapes for a while. I found it easy enough to dodge.

To get your combo score up (for the 70 feat) you have to keep killing enemy ships without ever letting the little C that appears above the adrenaline bar shrink to nothing. (Well, to almost nothing. It never totally goes away, which is kinda dumb.) This game really needs to do a better job explaining itself. That in-game "guide" is almost useless. Fun otherwise!
