how to determine the defence of monsters?
currently, it shows I have 10k+ damage, but when I hit monsters(it's not blocking), I only deal around 4k damage.

i cant get in its just a black screen DX plz tell me whats wrong it would help i want to try the game it sounds good from the comments.
Hello. My suggestion is to give it a few minutes to load. I have had this issue with quite a few Kong games lately and most the time I have to wait for them to load. If you feel like this isn't the case, I would try running it in a different browser or possibly updating your Flash player. I hope these suggestions work.

I think it would be great if the achievments granted some kind of bonus, even if very small - like +1% magic find or something. I would love to see more of them as well.
Achievements are my biggest project so far. I would like to create many for you guys. :) They will grant rewards and there will indeed be much more of them.

Also i forgot to add, legendary(orange) enchants needs a fix too. For example if im enchanting an item from purple to legendary, it goes straight to 1-star orange. But legendary items found from drops has no star. So upgrading them makes them 1-star,thus they have 1 more enchant level, thus same level legendaries from drops results as better items than the ones enchanted from purple.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Items and enchanting needs some serious fixes. Items i make(enchant) are generally weaker than the ones i find (intentional ? i hope not). For example purple level1 ring1 i made has "gold:12 e-regen:2", purple ring1 level 1 i found has "gold:14 e-regen:2". I think same level same color items should always be the same stat-wise.
Also regarding the weapons, i got a 1.50 white weapon, but i know that it cannot exceed 1.20 with enchants, so i replace it with a WORSE 1.55 weapon, because i know it will get to 1.10 with enchanting. So in order to "cheat" to get a better weapon, i destroy the better weapon and enchant the worse one. Think about it...

A player market and a global chat would be nice. Heck adding minigames like snake into it while the idle game is running is even greater! 1+ SO creator sees this

when changing levels, i tried to go to lvl 40, but since after you delete what's in the box, a 1 will be added, so i got since to a lvl 401 and instant killed :\

Also on the topic of everyone saying more balanced classes, the only thing that keeps me from playing healer or warrior is even if you 1 hit you kill things 3 times slower cause you can special as well as melee hit things. So to help balance it out, they would either have to be able to kill things significantly higher lvl than rogues and mages, or rogues and mages would need their specials slowed down ( Which everyone would probably hate )

I just got a red item:) I thought it was a bug at first. Sadly it took over 100 hours to get and very soon I will have to give it up to keep leveling up. Still it was a happy surprise. thanks for the game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
My fav idle game! Thanks for that ;) Here are some ideas that could make it better:
1.More balanced classes.
2.More skill points/level/vet rank (ex: 0 vet -> 1 skill point/lvl, 1 vet -> 2,...) so that we can use more than just the "combat" skills.
3.A new skill tree: 3.1One big common skill tree 3.2where you have to put a certain amount of points in the previous upgrade, and not just anywhere in the skill tree to unlock the next one. 3.3New skills that enhances special ability: energy cost, special effect like burn/poison/stun... 3.4Different skill trees for each class: some cost less skill points for a class, some have stronger effect...
4.A 2nd speciality for every class, so that each of them has 1 offensive spe. and one defensive/buff spe.
5.Different rarities/types of treasure chests.
6.Make these go into the inventory instead of just having a notification (with an "open all chests" option for advanced players), it would be nice to see what we win.
Thank you for playing and thank you for the suggestions. :) Many of these are in the works for the sequel to DPS, while some will be content additions to the current game. :)

I guess vet bonus items got massively massively nerfed? I am vet level 11 and used to just kill everything, after my last reset it's like I'm back to no vet gear. It's been awhile since I've played, I must have missed something pretty major. I see the red icons, and it looks like the vet levels. However they used to grow in power massively... that +2 +.2 can't be my bonuses now? Wish I could go back to my game before I reset. D:
Unfortunately, vet items were causing an issue that would make it impossible for me to add additional content into the game without it just being blown through. To resolve this, I took the items out and added the percentage bonuses instead. While it does indeed nerf you pretty hard, you don't have to use the same boring vet item all the time now. You can continue your search for the perfect items.

How about implementing a reward system for playing for extended periods of time. For example: 1.5x exp for 2/3+ hours of game session time? Or perhaps not such a high multiplier. Maybe do this with drop rate. IDK just putting the idea out there. Great job with the balance fixes and keep up the good work! :D

Retired with 31 on offhand and on my new character has a 0 in the spot it should have the 31, do I not get my bonus? :(

@POWERGAMING Firstly, thank you for your prompt response to my previous post. I, as well as many others are wondering when this next patch with be come live (Timeline, please :D). As well as what this patch will introduce and entail (Patch Notes please :) ). I ask this not only due to my curiosity, but for everyone else to have centralized source of this information. Thanks!
I am trying to have the bug fixes done by Friday. (Work has been pretty busy so not alot of time to do this). I hope to have a "content" expansion on Sunday. :)

hmmm i can see the difference if i go to the enchanting screen it seems... seems a bit odd that you have to go to diff screen to see what the base stats were but seems to be working...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
what exactly does the Vet bonus do? i've unlocked boots and the symbol beside boots is no longer a lock but a pair of boots with a 13 on them... if i hover over the boots i wear they have the same stats as before i put them on and i can't see any benefit from the vet lvls other than more chests popping...

so with ~13k items in inventory, I had to restart my computer, now flash crashes when I try to load... any ideas to fix that problem?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If the vet bonus is a % amount, it's not working.
I had 25 ER (Energy Regen) total, and took a ring2 with 5 ER and replaced my ring2 with 0 ER. My total went up to 30.
This was in my ring2 slot which has a vet 23 bonus on it, if that is a % my 5 ER should of gave me 6
The amount is working correctly. When you hover over an item in your inventory, the numbers shows INCLUDE the bonus already. If you want to see the "natural" bonus before vet bonus is added, go to enchant screen and click on the equipped item. (Next update is fixing this to make it easier to view the bonuses)

WTF!, took 2 days with new vet stats to get infinite gold going, hit my first add 10k stats to money, and immediately am killed by a medium during the lag, total bs

p.s. i think there should be a way to put more then one enchantment on an object [with a cost of course].. maybe buy an extra enchantment slot with gold...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Should be displayed somewhere that the Aura around the enemies stat box matters. Up to 9 levels above your ilevel you hit for full damage. 10-19 levels above your ilevel you hit for 66% damage(rough estimate) and take 33% more damage from... theres more than just those 2 auras, but as a hardcore I dont leave dark orange(10-19) yet :3

@Spatswelt Refining sells the piece of gear for gems instead of gold... Seems much more valuable than selling things straight for gold to get the gems then sell the gems
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i think there should be an info tab such as when you are about to refine an object it should state what gems you are about to get and if you was to sell how much money. that alone would take away issues at the beginning about not knowing exactly what refining does.. SPEED CONTROL, and a little rework on the skill tree, everything is fine with it just a little more in depth maybe try to make it to were you can play with one character type multiple times and you could choose a different path each time, more skilltypes to make the characters a little more unique you are on to something hear that can be GREAT you have a fan base which is most of the battle alone now you need to just make the characters more personal a huge skill tree alone can make it so every players character is different then the next person. every idea on this game is GREAT, parts like the skill tree feel pre beta. please let me know were you plan to go with this.

OK, I've figured out that the "next veteran bonus power" is simply the numbers above it, added up. That number is "maxable" by raising the levels of my equipped items, which raises the "item level" (a very misleading term as used here, since in any other game I've played, "item level" generally refers to the level of items FOUND, not the average level of items EQUIPPED). That "item level" is the one component of "next veteran bonus power" which I can control within a "career" (or whatever it is that we are doing prior to "retiring", each time). And I've figured out that that "next veteran bonus power" gets added to the specified item's "square" next to the item's icon on the left side of the inventory screen. So far so good. Now... WHAT DOES THAT NUMBER DO??? I can't detect ANY effect whatsoever, so far. I have all the squares populated by numbers, and I can raise those numbers... but what is the EFFECT?!?

And if they STILL complain about vetting to easily, then just ignore them. They have no reason to complain, eventually the vetting will get hard, and the monsters tough. Constructive criticism is okay, But you have to know, that that criticism is just one guys opinion. Against how many who either can't type (No account) can type and will (Like me) And those that can type, but prefer not to, and their opinions differ from his?. Sure, the same thing can be said for that guys opinion, just like this opinion. But if he can get the game how he wants it, eventually with time, then he has no reason to complain. Us, on the other hand, are permanently affected, and cannot choose to go back to the way it was. I'm just thinking for a way to make everyone happy.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
And if they complain about it taking to long, then only increase the requirement to vet a little bit each time, that way, they can vet a lot, but eventually get to the difficulty they want. Sounds good, eh?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The level requirement to retire is 100. I know that much, but is it the item level, or the skill level? Leaning between extremely easy to reach, and extremely hard to. 5/5 still, been playing this game for awhile. I always come back from time to time to do something. But, lately there's been a lot of nerfs. Nerfing gold find percent skill, twice. Nerfing a lot of other things (By the comments) I really miss that 50% per point with the gold find, that was fun... Surprised people complained about it being easy (If they did) Just vet enough, it'll be hard then.

Level 1 epic book has more stats then a level 14 epic book. Hmm... And that very same level 1 epic book has more stats then a level 50 rare book. Something seems awfully wrong here.. (Stats to level 1 epic book. Max energy: 18. Gold find: 72. Magic find: 12. Value: 2.13k gp) (Stats to level 14 epic book. Max energy: 20. Gold find: 56. Magic find: 8. Value: 1.74k gp) (Stats to level 50 rare book. Max energy: 35. Gold find: 62. Magic find: 11. Value: 2.35k gp) And don't ask for proof, I don't have a camera to take a picture, or any software to do so. If you can't trust me, then I can't trust you.

little ol' level 1 me taking on a whole buncha baddies, just slinging that blade everywhere, when suddenly a cute little barbarian crosses my path
"hey there cutie ;3" i exclaim, curtsying just a bit whilst winking && folding my wrist like those ladies in anime
then all of a sudden WHAMM i feel a sharp pain in my head
i look up and wouldn't you know it? there's a club sticking out of it
i've just been one-shot by a level 1 creature
thanks, barbarian

Glitch in gem selling: if you have 1.5k in jems and sell 5, it sells .5k at the price of 5. shortcut in visual effects the math. Noob advice: use the setting prompt next to "special". Upcoming update advice? Gimmi more control of when to spawn with a relation to energy/health. With just health I have to set it to 100% incase I get 2 elites in a row, but if I could set it for both I could do more of a 60/40 split. Plus maybe a "use special if health is below %" Hope some of this is helpful to both players and programmer
