I've killed 5 monsters on my current character and my vet items are level 2500. I know the update says they are meant to feel a little OP but at this point you just have to kill 1 monster every 60 seconds to keep them levelling at warp speed. Killing monsters faster doesn't actually help at all since it takes them so long to actually level up 1000X, after you've already got the requisite (exp?) for them to level up.

1) Level 2147483648 monster gives you an item of negative level without any stats (level . Probably because item level is a signed 32bit integer.
2) "Every 1000 in crit gives you 10% increased critical damage". This bonus works only with main attack, it does not change rogue's backstab's critical damage.

It is impossible to get 999999999 . tried with level 2 vet item and max level vet item which is 2147483647. cost is same.

Could something be added so that I can spend more of my money at a time? I have in the quadrillions and I can't spend enough of it to make it go away. I want to be able to buy more upgrades at a time.

beginner's tip: when starting your first play selecting mage as class gives you the fastest upgrades ( after your a veteran, mages its passive is not needed anymore)

Protip: Do not sell or refine common items at first, always wear them if they are above your level and then increase the level you fight with, wear them increase level, repeat.

What exactly am i doing wrong? Im in my "first playthrough" for roughly 7 hours and only skill lvl 44. i aim for moblvl where i can oneshot small/medium and 2 hit large ones.

Enchanting is stupid now. There is no "late game" anymore. You can't fight level 99999999 creatures without enchanting.

First, Thanks for Developer for this amazing game. It would be awesome, if an advanced sorting can be implemented, like, for example, sort Swords by damage or Attack Speed, Armor by Block or Health, etc.

Well, with the increased cost of enchanting, it costs up to quintillions of gems, but we can buy only in terms of quadrillions, which is 1000x lower. kinda...broken. I'd say it needs rework (the increase cost of enchanting was nice, but what's too much is too much)

You can upgrade the level of the monsters you fight with the thing right under special, but be careful as I've accidentally made the monsters lvl 201 before on accident. Ha.

To add to earlier comment. Just tried my first hardcore round after the un-nerf. The vet items have been re-OP'd. Leveling way too quickly on low levels, I think they are leveling faster than before all the changes were made last couple of days. E.g. lvl800 creatures and lvl'd to 3k+ in about 1 minute.

I wanna thank for dev for paying attention to comments and rolling back part of his nerf to more "acceptable" levels. Few comments though: 1) The popup box is an issue unless you autohover over it. Only way I found to get over it without refreshing is to click on different menu tabs a few times...Not ideal 2) Enchanting needs to be rethought. Not with the nonlinear increase in enchanting cost, the cost of buying gems to make a mediocre enchant is not worth it, using damage as an example, putting 25bil into 50k damage increase is more cost effective than gemming it to buy one increase i.e. enchanting provides no value unless you're grinding away for days and hoping for a free enchant from refined material

Really buggy, currently vet rank 27 (if that has anything to do with it) and just retired and started killing enemies. Things were working fine till i bumped the monster levels up by a few hundred since i level so quickly. Now im stuck leveling endlessly despite mobs being gray and way under leveled, and i've lost access to the mob level adjustment portion of the UI. Everything else works. I think the images of treasure chests appearing are the culprit. When they appear, you cant access the mob level adjuster, and it seems it'll get stuck like that eventually, even though the image has faded away already.

Ooh! I was thinking about my earlier post concerning an EXP BOOST stat. Maybe you could integrate a trinket item that has different abilities, like an EXP BOOST, only encounter large creatures or higher, an attack speed boost, or any number of other possibilities. It would be an interesting way to integrate some of the things people are requesting.

The creature box is awesome, but it also appears on the main screen, blocking the main menu and save buttons. Pretty awesome game. I think an EXP BOOST stat would be awesome. Keep up the good work!

I really love the fact that the dev pays so much time updating and balancing the game. Congratulations! Also, I'd suggest adding hotkeys to the inventory, at least for upgrading. And a "Sell All" button in the shop :)

There is a bug I think. When I reload a saved game with 2 vet ranks, there will be the 2 vet items that are the level when I saved in my equipment slots, but there will be 2 more vet items with the level of my items (the one on the top left) in my inventory. If I unlock those I will be able to refine them or sell them, I don't think this is intended behaviour.

Hmm how to get lvl 100? Is the itemlevel relevant (Top left) or the "Expbar" (bottom)

loxleyt : these level requirement for retiring are item lvl. the same that is displayed at the top left corner and is depending on what you have equiped. upgrading your equipement allows you to kill higher lvl mobs, and in turn equip better stuff to reach retirement lvl.

Atk.Spd of 1.56 does indeed provide the best weapon once upgraded. Upgrading 1.55 does not get you to 1.10. The lowest you can go from upgrades is 1.11. (And make sure the weapon has dmg.)

@loxleyt You play wrong :D. I got first vet item in 7 hours or so and I didn't know which level it was. With full vet items, I can make 100 level in 1 second :D

I like the disenchant added. Though is it possible to add a way of knowing what enchant is on an item with out having ti disenchant it?

with vet items: from level 1, hit a level 50. then a level 300. then 1000. then 3000. then 7000. then 15000. The longest part of the game is waiting for items to level up. you can make it to level 15000 in a few minutes.
suggestion: add a click-and-hold to spend gp feature. when I have hundreds of trillions of gp, it means a lot of clicking at the 25 bil cap.

THank you developer! It very difficult to balance the game. It just about arithmetic sequence on level up the vet item. I suggest 2,4,6,8,10, it was 5,10,15,20,25 before

Only 18 hours to get to item level 100, skill level 60 and retire. Now it takes about 5 minutes to get to item level 1000. I have never seen such game-breaking items
