vet rank 47 , upgrades should get more then 1 per upgrade or for max health energy more then 500 per upgrade , lvling to slow also ( vet 47 should go faster then this xD)

With 8 vet ranks and fighting level 50 monsters they have 50% block.
They are very hard to fight against.. Maybe block should scale less, if at all

Monsters getting 200% stronger on each retire doesn't sound right, especially considering the power of the vet items now. I doubt that you get 200% stronger on each retirement. With all but one items being vet items and having done quite a lot of upgrades to damage fighting level 50 monsters is a challenge, so I doubt I can reach a point where I can retire again.
Although the whole vet item idea seems a bit counter productive to me, considering that you are supposed to hunt for new items, but as you get more and more vet items you dont have to any more...

Ok.... The update ruined the game, and now I have a sword that does -28T attack. Yes, minus. Their health goes above 100%. I even got one to 252% before it killed me. Developer, stop screwing around and fix your game properly. Otherwise me (And most likely many others) will just leave, no need to play a buggy game with extreme unbalancing.

Doesn't seem like enchanting veteran items works, i enchanted 241 energy on my vet gloves and they still say 90, the item has the enchanted icon.

On the note of making enemies 'harder' each vet mode, possibly make it 100% more hp, 2% more dmg/block/crit on enemies for each retire.
More HP isn't as much of an issue for changing things up, but at higher vet levels the starting enemies become lethal with the current bonuses.
I actually just experienced this for myself. Got rocked by some smalls at beginning of vet 4. Lol. I will be adjusting appropriately in about an hour or so.

I hope 2.3.1.0 re-adjusts vet items to level up more based on monster level. The original vet items felt like they leveled up a bit too fast, but the current mode has them level now at a snail's pace.

Nerfs ruined this game. Too bad. I was enjoying the game, but starting over with 4 vet ranks I can barely kill lvl 20 mobs with 4 vet items. Oh well, I'll check back in a few weeks and see if any of the damage has been undone, but for now this game is ruined.

god damn the patch is the hardest nerf ive ever seen...if u wanna play tank or heal with vet 17 there no way to find anything thats funny...lvl 30 creatures have 75% and last way to long without offensiv skills...wish i had dont the achievement for heal and tank earlier, cuz the patch mad those classes impossible to play now

maybe a chest box where we can store items we want to keep but not yet equip (as in saving up gems for a certain characteristic)

Enchanting a Veteran item doesn't work. When it levels up, I guess it becomes a new item and the enchant stats reset, but the gem is still in the item.

My suggestion is to remove the 200% strength increase per retire, and give players skill points = vet rank at the start of their game. Vet items fill a good role right now by making retiring a little less painful and helping you get started with your new character, they don't need to have endgame power. However unless you give them endgame power (or another bonus such as I described), there's no benefit to retiring. And as long as 200% strength increase per retire remains, the punishment for retiring is too heavy unless you also give a massively OP reward for retiring. 1 Extra Skill point per retire sounds like a really nice feature that would entice me to retire without being gamebreaking early, provided that the 200% strength bonus gets removed.

Since the update, and going up 1 vet level, things feel smoother for me now. Also ran into 2 chests in 40mins as opposed to 8h and none. Guess I'm glad I took forever to vet up once compared to those on their 4th+ and getting slaughtered.

tl;dr Either reset your vet rank or quit playing until the game gets repatched. You get punished every time you retire, with no compensating benefit.

The last update punishes you insanely hard for retiring. Taking the scaling power out of Vet Items (refocusing them towards the early game, to help you get started) was a healthy change, but simultaneously making monsters 200% stronger per retire was too much.
It takes 2 years to get a vet item to level 5000, assuming you kill 1 monster/second, (total kills required to reach level n = n*(5*n +5)/2).
It takes 17 years to get a vet item to level 15000, assuming you kill 1 monster/second.
Since vet items can't scale quickly enough to remain useful, you're stuck using regular items at levels 5000+
Since retiring gives 0 benefit besides the vet items, and you aren't using the vet items anymore to fight the level 10000+ monsters...
You essentially make the game 200% harder every time you retire.

there a bug when u spend skillpoints while treasure pops up, it blocks ur skillbutton until the next treasure appears and u dont spend a skill

Ok. Finally hardcore vet level 12. What it took? Mass dumping money into damage boost and paying my way up to lvl3000 creatures. Seriously no more fun. I had more fun doing my 5 minute vet runs prior to the nerf.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
After dying multiple time now on my second hardcore run (level 1-5 every time) and reviewing the patch nodes: The 200% boost is too much. Also it removes any reason to retire if you cant even beat level 1 anymore because a monster can 1 hit you. Scrap that damage boost and instead add another limit on vet items. For example: cant level above your current level

Whatever enjoyment that could have been gotten from this game is now dying rapidly. I completely understand the need for balance, but this nerf is soul destroying. I am Vet level 6, meaning the critters are tougher, which in itself is cool. Having a critter the same level as me do more than double my maximum hp in a single shot because it is now 1200% tougher is not.

Oh god. There's a cheat where you can continue even if you die when playing hardcore mode but..... Given the changes with the update, I don't wanna tell the dev how it's done or they'll get rid of it....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
We all know you were trying to make the game better, but now it really sucks balls. Yesterday I was killing monsters Lvl 1mi. Today I died for monsters Lvl 30 (and I need to get to Lvl 4800 for the "retire"). Anyway, Good try. I'll be waiting for the next upgrade...

In hardcore mode, I just died with 2 level 11 vet equips, against a level 10 monster with focus on health and health regen. It just feels like hardcore mode is impossible now. Maybe change stat upgrade system, so the bonus added also grows exponentially too. Honestly I stop using it after level 50, because the gain is insignificant compared to having common equipment. What's 1 attack going to help when your damage is in the thousands. Only ones that help a little bit are hp, energy, block, and critical. I see a lot potential in the game. It just has a lot of balance issues. Before it was way too easy and now it's way too hard.

The nerf is way overdone. Was fighting legendaries 10k levels above mine with ease, now getting one hit killed by larges 50 below level. Most unnecessarily overdone and ridiculous nerf i've seen since warframe's trinity bust and that got me to quit the game for months
