Just finished the game and, I must say, it was bloody brilliant. I love the annunaki (I think that's what they're called?) and how they all interact with each other.
I'm proud of what you've accomplished and so should you!

wow, i really dislike the arena system, you have to go a certain number of battles without dying, or breaks, and if you do die then you have to load an old game. Other than that this revamped version is great.

aww man I finished the game again (for the 4th time) slayed the zombie dragon and recieved 100% but I still didn't get the badge....ANyway this game is amazing. The SNES setup is nostalgia of the early Final Fantasy (but better). I like the devian art, storyline and humourous dialogue throughout the game. It supplies at leats 10 hours of gameplay and more if you attempt to get 100% not to mention the countless replayability of the game. I like the new setup system to include a new reaction system to keep the battles more interactive. The grinding of mastering these reactions and skills is addictive. I am a perfectionist for these sort of things, but I find this game flawless in it's perfection. Among the Video Game Greats.

I scored this game a 5/5, but if possible I would've given it about a 4.5/5 because when you're in battle, the HUD (I guess you'd call it that?) doesn't list the characters/enemies in any kind of order that I can see, which sometimes leads to miscast spells and items. The only reason it bothers me is because of 1. the way I play the game and 2. my OCD about little things. Still a great game though :D

Thank you for making these games pseudo. I think the updated version is very nice, especially with the increase in boss difficulty. I have not gotten to play mardek 3 yet, but it will probably be amazing.

What can you do with items such as bat wings, fish-scales, goblin earwax, etc..? Is there any use to them apart from selling them???

I've played this game before and I would have finished it by now if it wasn't for the problem with the saving you had a while ago. Now I'm trying to go through it so I'll have the date for Mardek 3, and it won't load. Any suggestions?

AHHHHH...This is a great game I give it 5/5. i completed this before it got revamped but after it got revamped and i played it, the only thing i got stuck on is when u battle moric when he's in social fox's body, he freaking kills u in 1 hit with the arcane catalycsm and also he is lvl 24, my guys are lvl 14, 14, 15, 15, and he freaking summons dromas which he didnt in the old one but anyway, GREAT GAME 5/5

I don't remember the reaction timing bars on the first two games. I have to say, they've been a huge help. Before, I just had to guess when I was supposed to do it, and it was so hard to get it right.

@whilo1: most of the skills require the character to equip a particular item such as a sword or a wand or a necklace, etc. to be able to use them. If you master a skill, you can use that skill even after you remove that item. That is the only use I know. I don't know if there is any other benefit to it.

The remake is amazing. A very big improvement over the original. I miss having the total amount of chests per chapter, tho.

A little bug I found is that every now and then, one or two of Mardek's Skills will randomly turn off. If this could be fixed it would be cool, or at least some sort of message that tells you that a skill has turned off would be nice. Love the game by the way.

I feel that this is actually a better version of the old Final Fantasy games, because of the reactions, skills, and humor. Out of pure curiosity, I checked to see if Emela is allowed in your dorm when she's in your party, and she is. I think you could do something with that info... lol. But seriously, it's a great game, and I actually enjoy talking to NPCs. The remake makes reactions much more enjoyable, and makes them much more useful and simplistic. I encourage you, Pseudolonewolf, to work both on the new MARDEK games and the Beast Signer game, which looks great.

Why is the lake hag dying when my party is lvl 6? Best attacks are ThunderStorm, Heal, and Earth Slash each attack does about 110 and heal does 120 heal

Thank you so much for this game. IT'S SO AWESOME. The storyline, the ability for missions to take either forever or be sorta quick. I love the nes map mix with the up-to-date battle system. and the ease of saving the game to play it in a different chapter! and it's so hilarious if you take the time to read everything.

i used to hate this game...guess because the old version kinda sucks...but hey the game became great...that's what you call a successful update...but one question...how long before the next chapter goes out???...sorry to say this but i hate waiting for great sequels...it makes me too excited^_^...i haven't played the chapter 3 i want to play it from the first..More power...such a great game

this game is one of the best games i've ever played, but the best part is probobally the himor in it, like the item descriptions. Better Potion:"It's better than a regular potion because it restores 200hp, and has more friends, listens to trendier music, and gets invited to more parties.n As well as more sex. Ohyes." Remedy: "This potent potion can remove any and all status effects. Probably because it's orange. It's not made of oranges though, unfortunately. Does that make you cry? I bet it does." etc.

You may target multiple enemies with magic by pressing left when targeting. It also costs double mp to cast. Also works when you use it on your allies (press right when choosing an ally)
