Smite and Smite+ are both Holy Arts, and can only be learned by Vehrn.

Red exclamation marks are hard enemies, but blue exclamation marks are weaker enemies which you can skip fighting by pressing the z button very fast

I've played the first two mardek chapters and found them to be able to be witty and remain credibility through serious scenes. I applaud Pseudo for.... 's efoort in making this game; I very much enjoy the sense of nastalgia and was delighted to notice that chapter three has been made. However I thought I should play through the first two chapters again to refresh my memory on the plotline. However I am not sure if the first time I defeat Gope (Who turns out to actually be four blokes) if I am able to spare his life, or if I must defeat him later in the storyline- because I prefer to play the merciful hero with a great sense of morality... 5/5 from me, and keep up the splendid work!

Very well done Pseudo! I love the Mardek series. Analytically, the storyline is well thought out. I've been to your sight multiple times... I have read many of your blog posts and your personality comes out of the characters. That gives it all the more power. I think everyone that plays this game should go to www.fighuntergames.com and look all the posts dedicated to this game. It shows how much time he spent on making these game (namely 3 though). It takes a lot of dedication, I've made a few games and it is no small task. Congratulations on the series thus far. 5/5!

Tip for beating Moric: If one of your party members dies, he will revive them as a zombie. You can then use holy water or remedy to cure their zombie-ness and they're magically alive again.

Great game! I just recently started Mardek and I happily say, I love the gamplay/story.. Keep up the work Pseudolonewolf. I expect Mardek 3 to be better.(I do know it's out) Alright, back to the game.

It told me in my list of Drops that I received a Keyblade in my pile of rewards from the Locksmith zombie. Yet I never got one in my Inv even though I know I looted everything INCLUDING the Keyblade that told me it had Dropped for me.

Ahh! Freaking amazing, still on the 3rd playthrough (well 1st of the updated version.) I think the game's substance is even more powerful if you've read some of Pseudo's blog posts or been to his sight, I think a lot of his take on philosophy shines through the dialogue, and that really makes this seem like one of those insightful books you read in school!
...Oh and it's fun as a game too!

hey pseudo i dont know if its a bug or if im ignoring something but the bronze sword says it can teach smite evil and smite + but when i equip it on mardek it says it can't teach them

I'm pretty sure the keyblade's like a super-rare drop. I save scummed like 10 times before I got it to drop from him. I think the chance of getting it was 1%, pre-update, sooo...

Any one Else not get the KeyBlade from the Locksmith when he dropped it for them? I checked my whole Inv and despite me having received the statement that I had won a Keyblade I never got it in my Inv

Actually, shadykun, blue marks mean you can stop the battle before it starts by pressing Z. However, they're only blue if you're generally too strong for the enemies you encounter. Red marks mean you can't stop the battle.

about the map glitch, i might be wrong, but it only seems to occur if the map has been fully explored, or if there is no more "black"?

When you're asked to choose the amount of space that you want to use for the save file, if you click "Never Ask Again," it deletes your entire chat.kongregate.com folder. This is a warning for everyone, as it happened to me, and I don't want it to happen to anyone else... :[

to find all trilobite keys: 1 is in the tainted grotto- 2 a zombie droped it after invading gonzor, and now invading canonia-3 social fox,s catabom, dont be defated by high level zombie monsters-4 spare Gope,s life(can find him on inn on gonzor. i hop you all find the keys and all the doors on trilobite, to get to cambrian. :D

same problem as dargdargdarg here, the map-function doesn't work properly. which is annoying everywhere and a pain in the ass in the catacombs. tested in ie and ff with the same save tho. please check it out

the first game was a very good game and i hope this one is too, first one is probably the best flash turn based game i have ever played 5/5 for the first one and more than likely 5/5 for second

You've got to be kidding me!!! This morning (before Mardek 3 was uploaded), I was WELL into Mardek 2, and had just fought "zombie-Moric". Now you're telling me that all those hours of progeress are deleted?! Well, it doesn't look like I can load anything I saved before, so that certainly seems to be the case. Please, please, PLEASE tell me that I don't have to start from scratch.... because as good as this game is (Very), I don't think I could bear to do so.

Check out Pseudo's website or fighunter wiki for more info and walkthroughs on Mardek1,2,3 including tribulotite keys. But don't unless you stuck because its an awesome game and wlakthrough may ruin the experience! ANd knogrgate gets it first because they are sponsoring Pseudo and among others.

Okay if you have the newest flash player the save issue is fixed, and you can get the latest flash 10 on the game for free. Ty for the remake and final release of Mardek3! You are a genius in the maker of flash. this brings nostalgia from old final fantasy games, but this is new and btter than ever! I'm a big fan and keep up the good work.

For those not able to load their Chapter 1 save to here try following these steps Pseudolonewolf posted on his site. I followed them and it worked.
I was just fixing this rather critical error, so it works now, but you'll need to do the following things to get it to work:
- Refresh chapter 1.
- Load a save NEAR the end of the chapter (hopefully you made the end-of-chapter save in a separate slot).
- Get to the end and re-save the end-of-chapter game.
- Refresh chapter 2.
- Load the new save.
This is necessary because a variable wasn't being set properly at the end before, so now that variable IS set, but it means you have to re-save at the end.

It strange that Kongregate has the new version, while fighunter still has the older one. What the heck? the host site where the game and updates were made gets the updates before here?
