@geega-I couldn't beat the four bandits either, then I beat the first one again, and used the save file. It was much easier.

one of the best games I have ever played. but can you please upgrade it from the little Zelda thing you got going on? I mean I walk slowly (can you add a running button)and also the graphics(except during battle) are pretty bad, but theygive youthat awesome "old-time"game play feeling. please make more, but with slightly better graphics and a running button. it would be greatly appreciated.5/5

What a wonderful game. The updates to this masterpiece have pushed it farther than I could have imagined. The leveling and pace of the game is perfect, and the difficulty has been modified just right. The new skills menu is beautifully done, and is a joy to play with. I cannot put this game unto higher esteem, at least until I play Mardek 3.

This game is a piece of art that ranks higher than the mona lisa! The inter-game save feature is a great Idea that many games should institute. This simple yet exilerating series may influece consle gaming, and has more parts than both narnia and harry potter! The discriptions and context are funny, and many things can be anticipated without seeing the whole game, or series, ahead of time. Also, the aspect that effects influence and battle, elements, and the si-fi twist, make this game most enjoyable. I believe that this gripping game may give the early, and possibly recent, final fantasy games a run for their money. (Though the later ones have much better graphics, obviously, but who cares?) Also, I wonder who firequill is? That baffles me, the fact that it is just stated the creator likes her. Anyways, I'll wrap this up, I've been rambling again. This is an insane game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MARDEK FTW!!!

I've played this game several times, but never before have I gotten past the Saviors. It feels so awesome to beat them. X3

Amazing game. I especially love the fact that it is a parody of old rpgs, but it still holds true to the battle system and actually has a plot. Very Impressive.5/5

3/5 its a great game with funny dialog but wat i see this as is just another game where you walk around trying to do something then a monster pops out of nowhere plus its turn based so its mostly luck and strategy

i hate the fact that if you kill gope you're screwed, i only found out 4 hours in and it nearly killed this game for me. but i continued on for the ending badge and the zombie dragon badge, don't think i'll ever play this game again, shame really i quite liked it before i found that out.
atleast there could've been a warning that some items in the game are missable no matter if it was a simple potion or a plot item.
still i rate it 5/5 as the game itself is very good.

great game, deserves 5/5!
one thing that annoys me is that i am still grinding those single zombies in canonia for the trilobite key and they dont give it to me. someone said it has a 10percent dropchance, any tips/clues for me.

" If we need a key to get there, how can the undead get past there freely?" LOL!!! i love when u make fun of RPG physics issues man, 5/5 as always

So I just re-played this after beating Mardek 3, and wow, this seems easy now. I did a anally completionist (getting every single treasure chest possible, every bestiary entry, every side quest/ secret, etc) run through of chapter 1 and this in just under 6 hours. Still fun as heck, but wow.

Im gonna rate this bad cause its GOD DAMN NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE! And everyone is saying"oh this is great, wonderful" and idk why because after the bandit chief uses his potion he bloody doesnt die! the reactions are a good idea but i press the button and 2 seconds later it stops. The reactions barley DO anything anyway. The story is good but the learning curve is too bloody steep, like being thrown into deep water and told how to swim. Plus, the button placement was awkward because i kept pressing the start menu button and missing my reactions (Not that they make much of a difference). I usually love RPG games but this is not the best out there.

It's actually nice that there is a degree of difficulty in a turn-based RPG like this. Most games are just grinders with little to no strategy. I found myself getting frustrated with a few spots, and having to develop a new approach to specific battles. Unless I'm overlooking something, in the future I would create an item which negates stun like the rest of the status ailments. It can become a game of try and try again until the enemies decide not to stun you.
The storyline, the character development the graphics and the setting all have a very solid mixture of nostalgia while still being unique. I really enjoyed a lot of the tongue in cheek pokes at the old RPG cliches.

good story, awsome texts, but is too heavy and these stupid turn based battles are soo boring.....but still a good game,4/5

Pseudolonewolf, I have to give you props for having one of the most engaging and enjoyable flash game series I've ever played. Having the ability to carry your save game to the next installment is unheard of in flash games, and you pulled it off with aplomb. I love the story of the games, the gameplay, the art, the humor- all aspects of these games kick arse, and I hope you keep on making them, because I just can't get enough.

I really do like this game. A small dose of humor here and there, with a solid storyline. Had lag the first time, but I rebooted and it fixed itself. Though I'm at the last part, and now I'm frustrated to hell because of how difficult it is. But that just means I was running to fast probably, so it won't change the 9000>/5 rating it deserves.

HAHA! It loaded! Dude, really? You added a guard post and named the guards Tybalt and Mercutio? (From Romeo and Juliet for you guys who didn't know)

Great game...until I come to Moric (final). Can you say broken? The monsters are around level 15, then he's ratched up all the way to 24? Over-leveled much? Not only that, but he can decide on a whim to cast Arcane Catalcysm, which WILL wipe out your party. And, you can't go back to grind or anything, since you're stuck on the ship.
1/5. lern2balance.

You have got to be kidding me. Moric casts Arcana Cataclysm 2 times in a row every time I fight him and it just whipes out my entire party. This game wasn't so irritatingly hard before, but since you revamped it I give it a 1/5.

i cant get the 3rd tribolite key, i kill the canonians zombies but when i click to get all the stuff they left the key disapears.

When the Zombie Warrior castes haste and berserk I never get a chance to attack, he just keeps hitting my guys without anyone getting a turn and it's insta-kill.

IMO Vehrn is WWWAAAAAAYYYYY too overpowered I mean doing 1300 dmg in a normal hit is just too much, mardek only does like 170.
And the monsters in Fox's tomb give awesome exp.
