Deugan or Mardek? Deugan's golden locks are quite appealing... however, Mardek is the ultimate hero of the tale. Besides, Deugan needs a shave.

LMAO "(So our behaviour during the test isn't assessed on some special summary screen or anything...?)" FFVIII references ftw :)

Welp I just beat this game again. Pretty sure the only thing I wasn't able to get this time around was the Nightcap from the fungoblins (1% is a little to low for me to farm. I don't think it even does anything good, just another junk item). Managed to get every other item though.
And to those who are having trouble with the last boss, go to the "undead bonus area" and grind up a bit, while mastering Resist Earth from the geojacket. Should cut the damage from his nuke a lot. Only managed to cast it once, I was busy focusing him down. Crescendo slash kicks ass.
And I almost never used Boost, most of the time it gives Deugan 1str. More worth it to have him attack normally.
On to the 3rd chapter now. Thanks for making an awesome game Pseudo.

so, a character dies. I use a phoenix feather. Next attack, before I get to do anything, she dies again. Well, that was useful!

I enjoy playing this game very much! I like this Genre and also the game is better than games the same kind. I like this sense of humor, the game mechanism and the evolution of the characters and their character (:D). The only thing i felt a bit demotivated was, when a used the spell teleport by accident and their was no " Do You really want to use Teleport" Question >.< :D
But that was my problem :P.
So all in all one of the BEST games here :D
6/5

So.. you need the aquabreath skill to get undewater, and it goes away at save points.. yet if you use a save point underwater.. you don't die. So why did you need the skill in the first place?

Man Psueudolonewolf just ignore all the haters. I have enough experience with this kind of thing to know it takes a LOT of work, and to simply discredit it as bad for no given reason is ignorant. I think it is an excellent game. My favorite RPG on the site actually. Seriously man, keep doing what your doing. A lot of us are looking forward to more

I liked the game to start with, but the endless looping dungeons and mobs ambushing you every 2 steps are just getting on my nerves now. Also, what's with the mini bosses dropping 0 loot whatsoever? Still running around with 14 damage swords and bosses hitting for 140, but they dont drop anything?! Rated 2/5 due to being frustrating, extra complexity for no real point.

I love this game. I decided to save two files at the end, one for finishing the storyline, and another to get the last two hard badges. I finished the main story, and I could have just loaded my secondary save file, but instead I decided to restart the entire game. :D I really liked playing it. Favorited and 5/5

I would love to be the fellow that stumbles upon these games when all 8 chapters are out. I'd have to set aside 2 months.

A fast paced TbT RPG adventuring game. It has a deep, perplexing storyline filled with twists, suspicions, sadness, and laughter. A epic series, to say the least. It will keep you on the edge of your seat till' the end. A good time waster, i have been playing for 2 hours straight just now. Filled with imagination, monsters, weapons, spells, and many things to keep you occupied such as dungeon hunting or exploring and even shopping, it's filled to the brim with everything a RPG lover could want.

Sir, all i've got to say is that your creation is a motherf#cking piece of art that beats any downloadable game. The series has been keeping me busy for over 8 hours and is the smartest rpg ever. Congratulations for having such a damn oversized mind.

Awesome game, in fact the best I've ever seen, and I would pay money for this game if it came to that. The new features are cool too (especially the reaction helper) but I can't seem to access anyone's inventory but Mardeks. I didn't notice until I finally gave Deugan something, but I couldn't retrieve it. Anyone know how to swap the inventories? Either way though PLW, this game is EPIC WIN! 5/5

I like the updated version a lot more (: At least you know who will be the next to go in battles, and everything is just a lot more organized and easy to remember in terms of what buttons to press - since you kind of forget after you don't play a game for awhile.

the dialogue to gameplay ratio is ridiculous there's so much to read and you barely play..i mean i thought it would improve after the first game because the first was basically all reading..but yeah more gameplay would be nice.

upset over lost files, but overall not bad, though the movement is laborious having to push each button everytime i want to turn. just let me hold the one and then hit another to do a quick turn. so much easier to move instead of stopping every turn. also, lost my save file before i finished the game. boooooooo

I hope Deugan survived the endgame... Not only because he's Mardek's best friend, but also because he's so much better at fighting than Mardek. Haha. Seriously, really, and I would miss him from the game. I really hope that somehow he survived.

When I was fighting Muriance (Bandit Chief), I had gotten his health to 46. I had Steele and Mardek left alive. Suddenly, when I was going to finally kill him, I couldn't use the X key because it DIDN'T WORK!!! Thennnnn I died...... >:-| Only the Z key worked. After died the X key started working!

Manaberry: When consumed, this plump, suculent juicy, glowing cyan berry instantly restore 50 of your precious Mana Points. Or Magic Points if you think they're called that. They Also cause severe diarrhoesa, nausea, hallucinations, and malignant tumours, but that's not relevant.

OHMYGOD
I LOOOOOOVE THE SOUNDTRACK!!!!! your music is great, Pseudolone, i can't emphasize that enough. i like your Mardek theme and the Goznor song, but i haven't listened to all of them..... they're all so good..... rate this comment up if you just looooove the music. It reminds me so much about Final Fantasy and some of the older Zelda games. add to a list of why this game is so epic...... and i still haven't played chapter 3!!! rawr.

Second Moric fight just pisses me off. Had him down to 192 health, he uses one of those cheap final-boss-about-to-die attacks and kills all of my party except Emela. Even Mardek with his 601 health points. Then he gets another turn before I can rez and zombifies Deugan who kills emela in one hit. Screw you.

Love the update. Now I really have a reason to replay one of my favorites. Instead of just playing again cause I like the game.

Hey if I got a new computer, can I somehow move the saved files from my old computer to the new one for this game??????????????

I rarely, if ever, comment on any game I play here, and it's been a LOT of games. But I have to say this: Woohoo, Mardek III!! Cheers. Thanks, Pseudowolf.
