i 'm REALLY confused as to why 3 guys(mardek,deugan,zach) and one girl(emela) were in bed together when canonia is being attacked by moric?!?:P

A strategy for all of those having trouble with the saviours. Have Emela cast flames on Vennie since he is weak against it. Aalia will probably cast shield on him or heal him, have Deugan and Vehrn attack her. If Aalia casts shield on herself, then have Deugan do barrier break (you can find nearby the sword that teaches it). If she casts it on Vennie ignore it and focus on her since vennie can be nearly killed with 2 flames. After they both are gone weaken Bartholio a bit, cause once you kill everybody else he will go into beserk mode and you might lose someone till you defeat him. Bernard should be a couple melee hits (he has a high magic resistance so have Emela deal with Bartholio after Vennie) till he drops. Mardek should be healing whoever is low from the enemy attacks, or if none is in dire need of a heal, have him do a party heal.

jsut kill the girl first then!!! she'll go down in only one round if Emela has Stonesplosion (from earth rod in eastern glens) and Deugan has Barrier Break (from tectonic sword, i forget where to get) and if the others just attack.

@Murphy5law: You're supposed to (or at least it's easiest to) kill the girl (healer) first in the World Savior's battles. Then just pretty much wail on the other three with whatever you have until they drop. My advice: Vehrn's disrupt evil on bernard (with a barrier break from Duegan if the girl managed to shield him before dying), barrier break and elemancy on bartholio, flame and a slash or two on vinnie. Check the in battle profiles for which element each of them is weak against besides the natural element hierarchy (for bartholio and bernard).

Great Game, I'm really enjoying it. One problem I have though is Gope doesn't drop the Trilobite Key. I spared him the first time, killed him second time. What did I miss?

just a heads up to a few players starting out. once you completed the caves go back through the two routes you didn't go through as well as the cave hole that the bandit chief went through and you will get some very good items to help you out including about 5 phoenix downs

takes forever to grind up Passive skills...maybe decrease the points required to learn them, or allow "skipped" battles to count, or something?

Great game overall! That said, the inventory management is really goofy...usually you have tons of potions and ailment-cures to go around, so it is annoying to have to shuffle all that around. Meanwhile, having four different inventories makes it a challenge to figure out which equipments still have skills for a particular character to learn. I think a party inventory would be great (and since this is a parody, you can even make a joke about it at some point)

I don't know how this happened but instead of mardek attacking first, duegan is the one that attacks first. Also, duegan is a higher level than mardek. o.o? wtf?

woot finished! i had mardek and deugoen with things that made them not be able to zombiefy so when they died in the final battle, moric just healed them to full capacity! ty moric!

no fair. i tried soloing trilobite using only mardek and those pesky fish used the minus agility skill and ended up 6 turns later before i can attack. there was only 2 fish!

dear people, alot dont seem to know, try to find the silver sword in the sewer parts bevofore the tomb, give this to the paladin, unlocks a power that caters specifically to undead creatures, this is very useful, for it does quite a lot of damage, and this sword also causes double damage to undead, so this, combined with the spell, makes it a very potent spell against creatures, the key zombie, will be nothing but a nother zombie when you have this weapon, there is a second silver sword, but i for got where it was

Hé lonewolf, this really is a great game, could have layed in the stores back in the nes/gameboy time.
Very nice story, complexity and f***ing hilarous, I already wasted 10 hours of my life and am gonna start over to explore the world even more.

I absolutely LOVE this game! It has the feel of an SNES game, with the complexity and strategy of a modern RPG. Normally, I'm an item collector in games like these, but I find myself obsessing over learning as many skills as I can find in this game. Also, the dialogue, as nearly everyone keeps mentioning, is HILARIOUS. I haven't seen anything in this game that needs fixing, and I can't wait to play ch. 3 when I'm done with this and the later installments when they come out. 10 out of 10! (Side note: the only thing I'm worried about is, when chapter 3 came out, an update was released that rendered previous save files obsolete. I hope with the introduction of later chapters, this is "fixed" because I've already put in 2 days of play and I JUST finished the Shaman Quest, and I'm sure many other people have put a lot of time into their save files as well.) VOTE THIS UP PLEASE! :)

I like how there are characters and hidden things in the game you can find if you actually go looking around instead of just following the storyline. 5/5.

Great ! Most fun to play through, with all the annoying features from the "original" games. That is no running, too many random encounters when you don't want them, and not enough when your training. (unsolvable) Effing curses from the KeyZombie ! I can't get through him, especially as I only have 3 phoenix downs now, due to those Savior scoundrels... The girl was so funny, speaking in internet speech ! Too bad the badges don't work for me... Anyway, a GREAT game pseudolonewolf ! And who's Firequill ? (Yes, I talk to everybody when possible...)

i just beat it for the 3rd time, because i missed the arena the first 2 times, but this time, i got a special little gift from the zombie blacksmith

i must agree that this game is awesome but i hate it when benard (a savior) started spamming thunderbolt through the WHOLE match which was annoying since i wasted all of my phoenix downs and i had 12.

I'm hooked on this series! When I was younger, I was a big fan of the gameboy pokemon games, particularly silver and red, but then I got older, they added a ridiculous amount of new pokemon (robots nintendo, really?!?), and there was no new fun to be found. And then Mardek RPG comes along, very nostalgic, yet refreshing, and always fun. I've never found the need to repeatedly train my heroes, the enemies progress at a perfect rate, and the real key to success in this game is a good strategy. Perfect game, 5/5. keep em coming pseudolonewolf!

This game always feels slow to me. Advancement (especially early on) seems overly slow. I feel like my people move painfully slow and don't respond well. I feel like I have to hammer my keys or push them repeatedly because I never have the timing right with the game's cues to accept input. I wish that I could get the speech text to flip screens faster. That all said, I do enjoy the text (and accompanying character faces) a bunch. The overall slowness is killer, though. I feel like playing is a chore to get to the neat stuff. 3/5

Ic ant paly this game. whenever I get into a battle at the forest after you kill the water ahg, I go to emelas attack page and one of 2 things happens: The keys lag so much that it makes it immposible to have a thoughtful move, 2) it stops completely, and acts as if its frozen, even though things are moving.
