Every complain I had about Chapter 1 was fixed for this one, which was perfectly blissful SNES RPGaming, from the skill system to the sidequests to the countdown!
My only complaint is that item management is frustrating, and it's annoying that you can't tell which items unlock new skills for which characters. If it was faster to equip (i.e., one inventory), that might not be such a pain, but as is.... Still, clearly a 5/5.

This game is awesome. 5/5. love the Final Fantasy feel of the game. FF games are my favorite games ever. Own everyone and this comes quite close. Only thing you should think of adding is a quick save feature. Found myself having to leave the game quite often and i couldnt save.

@WoodenCheese: That was the easiest round of them all. I didn't take any damage at all. I used Spiritblade for about 600 damage, then Disrupt Undead for about 1500.

To anyone that is having trouble with the saviors, here is something that might help: Make sure that elema and verhn either have insomnia, or the cog necklace. Use verh to smite bernard, if you reacted, it should 1-hit KO him. Use elema to kill vinnie, and use deugan to break all the sheilds that the girl casts. Use mardek to heal, and use items if neccassary.
Hope this helps!

Man I really like this game because of all the characters fighting styles; in most games like this there all just copies of each other. 4/5

@mvprockstar The good thing about Moric's second form is that he zombifies you when you die. You can easily pop a Holy Water on an ally when they get zombified, thus giving you a free full revival. It becomes especially good when you get the Bonestone, as it grants immunity to zombification. When Moric tries to zombify you, you get revived with full health and no status effects.

@ne0pets22 The zombies that you fight are animated corpses without souls. Since there is no soul to return to the body, removing zombification does nothing to it. The only reason that you can "cure" your own zombification is that your soul is still in your body, or near enough that it can return.

I am not even close to being done, and yet I must say, this is one game I really like. Everything from the music to the battles struck a nostalgic nerve. I really wish some games were still made this way. 5/5 and I hope chapter 4 comes soon.

I love this series so far. The gameplay is both classic and unique, combining the best elements of the old SNES games with creative new elements. The bits of affectionate spoofing are wonderful! The graphics are charming and retro, and the music does those classic SNES games proud, sounding reminiscent of both Metroid and the best RPG ever, Chrono Trigger in a number of places. I can't wait to finish Chapter 2 and begin Chapter 3.

@killa226: You're right, Iron Age came after the Bronze Age, but that was in part to the fact that iron exists in nature. Bronze is an alloy of copper/tin...if you have a hard time getting tin, then you have a difficult time making bronze. With iron you have no such problem. Just because it's easier to get iron does not make it better in every situation, but seeing as they both played an important part in history, eh...I like 'em both. :p (And to stay on topic, I beat the game and now it's time to go onto 3!)

The arena is located in the hidden city of Cambria in the Trilobite Cave. To get through the cave and into the city, you must have all four of the game's hidden Trilobite Keys.

i was reminded of SHADOW from FFIII for the SNES when i got to the pub and saw Zack. SHADOW was a mercenary ninja that disliked the whole world, would do any job for the right price, and who wore all black w/ a mask hiding his face fully. If only Zack had a pet dog named Interceptor itd be perfect!

It's a bit boring, but I'm sure it's an absolutely spectacular game. I just couldn't play through it the whole way through.

@Eqlles: In this game, iron is stronger than bronze. However, it's not far fetched to believe bronze is better than iron. Iron is stronger and more brittle (which means it's more prone to break), but it holds a sharper edge. Bronze is softer and more mailable (which means it would probably bend before breaking), but it does not hold it's edge as long. Another important point is that iron will rust which destroys the weapon...bronze only tarnishes, which causes no damage to the weapon itself, only it's color. Either way, bronze and iron are comparable, and either can be stronger than the other depending on the situation and the craftsmanship.
Oh, and this game gets 5/5.

aaaaaaah I can't beat the shaman in Tainted Grotto because I used nearly all my potions for the saviors and the shaman makes group damage. and my whole group except the pink haired paladyn does just a small ammount of damage to him. it's really hard xD. but this game is just great, I loled hard in the dialougue with the saviors, and gameplay is great, too. 5/5 =)

It is simply without a doubt one of the best flash RPGs there is. A magnificent storyline and worth beating many times, I have beat it on other sites, but not here. I simply had to comment on such a wonderful game. Many people won't play because of low graphics, but I prefer them for this style of game. The dialogue is serious at points, like the argument about justice, and then hilarious in others. When the third came out here I found myself wanting to replay through them all and I am glad I did I found that it had been updated. Thank you Pseudolonewolf for such a magnificent game.
Forget all the haters out there, they simple cannot understand how this game is unique. This is the style of Final Fantasy, but it is so much better. If I had to choose one of your games I'd be stuck between the Mardeks, simply because they own.
A 5/5 if only there were more games like this. Keep up the great work
