Once I tried to make an RPG like this all by myself, Well it sucked everything has to be personally written, placed, tested, reviewed, remade, and check for errors over and over. So i know the trouble you went through. great game 15/5

Hehe, hi Moric! I'm sorry that the Violet (FIG????) Crystal corrupted your mind so I have to kill you.
----CHAPTER 3 PLOT SPOILER WARNING!!!----
Unfortunately, Qualna, who wanted to help and not kill Rohoph, stated that his death affected the citizens of Anshar. It didn't really affect Anu, as he leaks.

Lucky me. I killed Muriance and the Saviours at the first try. It costed me like 5 tries for the first and 15 tries for the second during my first playthrough. Anyway, the Tournament is cool.

On par with the 'Sunny' 'Warfare 1917/1944' and other such legends. This game is a phosphorescent font of prodigiousness in a previously stagnant genre. And yes I had to use a thesaurus, that is how great this game is! 5/5

Pseudolonewolf.. Man, I gotta tell you this game series is awesome.
You managed to catch my eye with this game in chapter one. The dialogue, gameplay, and story all really mesh up well. one of my biggest "thumbs up" for this game is how you make it fun, yet serious. By that I mean these games give a lot of deep story, plot development, gameplay, etc but at the same time you slip in funny quirks and tags to items. Dialogue between characters is actually fun to read instead of being it becoming one of those games where you just want to mash A until you get out of it.
Your game has a solid battle / level up system, great character development, a fantastic story, and just becomes more and more of a great experience as I play. You really deserve the 5/5 rating for this game. This game series truly is epic and, in my opinion, takes myself and many other gamers back to the time when games were amazing.

Fig Hunter did you really name yourself fig hunter and then comment on a game where the developers website is called fig hunter? I mean really.

Dimasa, that's a reference to how, in many RPGs, enemies on the map that are represented by a single sprite usually turn out to be multiple foes when you actually fight them.

Very good game. Some improvements are with the graphics and transfer of abilities from 1 chapter to the next. Otherwise 5/5. Btw are there zombies in Canonia???

I know that MARDEK 2 removes the reaction abilities and active abilities that was learned from MARDEK 1, but is it also intended to remove passive abilities. For some odd reason I replayed MARDEK 1 and leveled Mardek to 6 and went on to learn Insomnia (From the Cog Necklace). After learning it and finishing MARDEK 1 off, when I loaded my save file into MARDEK 2, Insomnia was removed from my passive abilities. Then again, this probably affects a very small amount of people.

Man, im really dissapointed because my save got deleted for the second time. It said I had a decent enough flash player to take my save and after investing about 3 hours of doing extra stuff in this chapter TWICE, it gets deleted again...*sigh* I want to love this game and I do, but a game that deletes my save 2 times on 2 different computers is hard to forgive. I'll still give it a 5/5 for awesome gameplay but please, my heart can only take so much abuse.

The final fight is much harder now, althrough Moric really seems gone nuts now. He killed a zombified squadmate, then later in a fight, another zombified squadmate commited suicide!

cont: I'm also pissed off that I missed the little side-quest to get 5 lead pipes in Chapter 1, so now 5 hours into Chapter 2, I have to start over so that I have that side-quest complete in my quest menu. I'm a completionist like that.
That being said...
This is a VERY well put-together game, I've had a lot of fun with it and will continue to do so in Chapter 3. The reaction abilities, the uniqueness between characters, the learning curve, everything is just about right. The battles aren't stiflingly common, but they aren't far between either, and not as simple as just mashing a button. The menu is pretty intuitive, but as complex as most console RPG menus. It is somewhat unforgiving (If you choose to kill Gope, you miss out on one of the best parts of the game), but that's what walkthroughs are for, I suppose. I hope to see more work from you, the re-designed engine really shows.
4/5

I feel like you tried a bit too hard at times to make this a parody. I mean, come on, the description for Potions and many other items are just stupid. Mardek is a f***ing idiot (I hate brainless protagonists almost as much as I hate emo protagonists like Cloud from FF7), if I see him start a sentence with "Well.." one more time, I'm gonna brain someone. The death of Steele and the introspective conversations that followed concerning whether or not they're really any better than the people they're killing didn't seem to belong in a game so full of friendly pokes at more traditional RPGs as well. Come on, is this a srs bizness RPG or not? Make up your mind. It's like you made an attempt at being more than skin-deep, something that many many RPGs don't even try, but chickened out in the end to make it satirical. As a result, I feel like anything remotely serious (the death of Deugan) had no place in this game, because the satirical portions are so much more prevalent.

@WildDevil Dude, or you have a bad strategy, or maybe you just don't work with this kind of game. Because, at least, I, had a very easy time with Dracelon.
