Best flash RPG ever. I won't duplicate the rave I wrote at Newgrounds. I came here to Kongregate just to play #3. Which, of course, means I had to start over from the very beginning, much to my utter pleasure.
Re: world's saviors tactics - I sick Emela on Vennie with lightning, Vehrn on Bernard with smite evil, and Duegan on barrier break and/or Aalia. Mardek heals or assists combat as needed. Main thing is x their nuke (Bernard) and keep Aalia from shielding and healing. Bart berserked isn't half as dangerous as the rest of them. Ignore him 'til the end. Works every time (might be ten times I've done that.)

@emdude
Try taking out Aalia first, if you can. Then go for Bernard or Bartholio depending on what you're more outfitted for-magic defense or physical defense. If magic, go for Bartholio, physical, go with Bernard. It might seem best to take out Vennie before those two, but he's generally weak and without powerful attacks. That, and, if Bartholio is the last one alive, he gets the Berserk status, basically doubling his damage.
If all else fails, go level up or something.

Nope-you can't get it, ever, after the zombies. Your only option is to start over if you want access to the secrets in the Trilobite Cave, including the arena. I highly recommend doing so, because Chapter 3 has even more arena-related stuff, containing very good equipment at that.

you go to the water lady's skill's and use the water buff on every one (like if you where healing outside of battle with marric)

I can't help but to read Jacques' dialogue in John Cleese's French Accent from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. "Your Father smelt of elderberries".

i loled when i reallized the reference when emela says: And that'll help, will it? Has He ever directly helped before? Ever zapped your foes with green lightning, anything like that? then when you get the yalortian amulet it zzaps the enemy with GREEN lightning

Oh nice idea, developer. At "MARDEK RPG: Chapter 1" and "MARDEK RPG: Chapter 3", the heroes are more big. Anyway your RPG games are awesome.

The only things that piss me off are when you press the X button for physical reactions and nothing happen :( (and also Deugan always misses xD)

@Pseudolonewolf I must say that this is the greatest Flash game I have ever played, complete with amazing dialogue and humor, great RPG mechanics, a wonderful plot, and several hours of gameplay in which I can enjoy all of the aforementioned factors.

If your in the second part of the sewers (when moric takes over Goznor) use the map to look for secret passages, the secret passages look like walls, but are walkthrough. On the map, it looks like a normal path though

Just a heads up to the poor, poor people who have yet to play this game; it's like a lost final fantasy game that fits RIGHT in between FF 6 and FF7.

Great game 5/5 and for those of you who are wondering whether you should use Vehrn or Zach, I would use Vehrn because his smite evil and undead skills can devestate dark elemental creatures and there are a lot of them in this game. Plus he can get an earth elemental attack too from the Yalortian amulet

To those wondering what weapons go to what character (weapons you can find in this chapter): Sword = Mardek & Verhn, Greatsword = Deugan, Rod = Emela, Double-blade = Zach, Staff = Gloria (next chapter). To get Zach, go into the Canonia Inn BEFORE you finish the catacombs, and you must pay 1000 generic gold coins to get him. Hope this helped a little. I saw people asking who could use a certain weapon, so...

Just a tip to everybody: When you complete a dungeon, go back to the person who gave you that quest, and also go back to the dungeon itself (especially in the room with the boss; chances are there's a chest or a secret chest or a secret behind where the boss once stood). After defeating the shaman, the skull behind where she was contains GeoJacket, behind the first battle with Moric, you can find Social Fox's tomb, a Trilobite key, and the Zombie Dragon. After defeating Muricance, you can go down the tunnels the other people took to get sweet prizes, and also go down a path (where Muriance fled after you defeat him) that leads to items like Bandit Armor. Basically, go to a dungeon after you complete it.

This game (and every other one in the series) is hilarious (hilarious besides everything else in this game that makes it simply amazing). From messing with cliches to oaths (such as "He thinks he's YALORT's Gift to Women!" and referring to EVERY ONE of the innumerable deities in this game "Gods, you deserve to be in prison!"), this game deserves 5/5 just for epic laughs that I got while playing. It also deserves 5/5 for storyline and the perfect amount of twists and unexpected turns, 5/5 for the character developments, 5/5 for the music and sounds, and 5/5 for anything I managed to miss! Love it!
