It's sad how many people can't appreciate the brilliance of this game.

Well, I have gleamed the Keyblade from the Zombie Locksmith, killed the Zombie Dragon, acquired the Trilobite Keys, defeated the Arena, and finally finished the game. And all I can say is.... wow.
This is a great game that f it had came out in the era of gaming it emulates, would have been right up there with Final Fantasy. Oh, sure, it has it's glitches, which even console games have, but still a grade A peice of gaming.
I salute you, Pseudolonewolf, on your fantastic peice of Flash-manship, and I await Chapter 3.

GodGord the graphics are supposed to be reminiscent of the old SNES and NES games. And this is a LOT like the old Final Fantasy series. It makes me very happy :)

to kill the heroes, focus on the healer girl before she shields everyone (or you ll have to break shield with Duegan) then on the mage, then on the thief. keep the paladin for last. I had an easy time using emela's shocking rod and paralyze ability to stun every opponent, making them unable to act. Keep potions and phoenixdowns on each character just in case. And remember that if you use Mardek's Magic Shield on your members, a heal spell cast on them will be weaker as well. Good luck

The encyclopedia is pretty awesome, especially the descriptions for the people, quite funny. Theres so much work thats been done on this game and everything are balanced so well, BEST.

But at least with Gope your are told not to be violent. How about the second key which involves killing the zombies? Didn't know about them and now I can't get the key.

it shouldn't have such a momentous effect on the rest of the game though just because i decided to off one guy that it kinda inferred that i should kill just as much as it inferred that i shouldn't. I can understand maybe screwing you of a weapon or some gold. but an entire side quest that and all of the bonus' that come with getting the four keys are now completely unavailable because in the beginning of the game (you know, the part of the game where your still kinda learning how to play) I killed some random guy.

Actually, I say that shouldn't be tweaked. Jacques said NOT to be violent, so it is understandable that a consequence is brought up.

just one complaint
when you kill the guy in the gem mines (even though mardek smiles when you scroll over the option to kill him) you lose the bonus quest completely with no hopes of getting it back whatsoever. kinda sucks when you find that out at the end of the game...
if this extreme problem was fixed this would be a perfect game

I'm starting a new game to get the last 2 badges...but thats okay as this is a 5/5 and one of my favorites. The humor is spot on, if you can't be bothered to read the story then press x? If you can't be bothered to skip the words then go play platform racing or something.
