ok, really, people who rate this a one out of five and calling it boring are pretty much little five-years olds who've never played an turn-based game before. Or have 3-second attention spans.
Anyways, they have clue what they're crying about, they're just too young. Anyways great game 5/5

i just recruited vehrn and i went into the place but i saved and when i tried 2 load everything was black except for the characters (same with the autosave) and i tried refreshing. any1 no a solution?

this would be good ...If not for its slow effects...it took me an extra 1min to finish off a battle cos of the slow reaction...

sirens are actually half bird half humans. but their still women that lure sailors to their deaths. as for their nudity, i seriously doubt it

As a big fan of RPG both old and new, I must say I love it. Love the characters, the monsters, the story, and most of all the humor that makes fun of silly details in RPG games (for example more people live in a house than there are beds, one enemy on the map is actually several in battle etc.) Gameplay reminds me of oldschool RPG games like early Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and the likes. Sooo... To me this has been the best game in all of kongregate, can´t wait for the next one to come out! ^__^

The only bug I found was that sometimes your status would be displayed as Undefined, preventing you from using healing spells until you had used one item or returned to the world map. The lampshading in the NPC dialogue eventually grew very absurd, too. Still, very impressive for a flash RPG.

A superb job. The gameplay, though not particularly innovative, is inviting, and allows for a variety of battle strategies. The graphics do the job you intended, bringing back the memories of old NES and SNES games. The story really drawsyou in, and it's both easy and enjoyable to follow. I must say I didn't find one flaw in this game. Definitely the best flash RPG I've seen on the Internet and I can't wait for the next six chapters. Keep up the good work.

Bandit boss was insanly diffiucult. Every person I heal right after he goes after them, takes 1/2 hp away. Come off I love chapter 1 but this is frustrating.

Phew, finally got the all the badges in 7 hours and 57 minutes. A really awesome game, I hope chapter 3 will come soon. :D

it's not glitchy at all. you people who are complaining most likely have bad computers which explains why the game has problems. don't blame this guy who probably put a lot of hours into this game because your old computers don't work correctly.
anyway, this game is awesome! 5/5 for sure

my mouse cursor doesn't show up in the game screen, so its like a guessing game when I'm clicking
very very buggy game, you should spend a little more time testing before you upload it.

Very nice old-looking game, funny conversations, and a lot to do in the whole game! I just completed it, I like it very much, 5/5! Can't wait for Mardek 3
