Don't Melee Same element with Wands. You heal the enemy and you get negative MP absorb so you lose MANA. + So all can see.

@AndyMan4 - Mastering a skill means you no longer need the equipment that you learn the skill from to use it. Mastering skills means you can upgrade gear without losing skills from the old set of gear.

This game would be more awesome if the storytelling text scrolling speed wasn't so fast, or would be player controlled. Firstly - like myself - the majority of the gamers aren't native English speakers and can not read as fast as the text scrolls, and secondly this game isn't about the speed reading, it's about the story of great adventurers.

i think it would be nice if they put a mini map on the lower left corner so you dont have to keep constently looking at the menu for it

A piece of advice: When you get to the part where Canonia is attacked by zombies, that's a good spot to master all your Skills/Spells. You can keep grinding on the zombies and cast your talents, or activate the passive ones, since by the time you get there, you should be able to kill the zombies in 1 hit, and they should be really weak. If you run out of zombies, exit the city and enter again, they'll respawn. Also, there's a save crystal there, so if you run out of health/mana, just touch the crystal and they'll refill.
Hope this helps.

After beating the first boss, how to play: Emela casts on enemy team, deugan power attack's one, mardek heals if needed or attacks, repeat (if mp runs out, use manaberry or whatevs) (SPOILER: After Vhern joins, nuke stuff with your anti-undead skills :D)

How do you equip the Tectonic Sword? After I pick it up and supposedly give it to Deugan, I still see him using the Greatsword. Am I missing something? I know where to find the T-Sword and I always thought he was equipped with it once you give it him when you're in that little menu that pops up every time you open a chest and find items. But even afterwards he never looks as though he has it, or that I even have it in my entire inventory.
Just what the hell am I missing?

This game is pretty cool. It has that old-timey video game feel to it, which I love, and has the RPG style, which I love, and the dialogue is fleshed out so the characters are pretty realistic and concise, which I love, and there are jokes sprinkled into the mix of narration and chatting, which I LOVE :D 5/5

@SperendorCrescit: Actually, his name is based off of three characters in Mesopotamian mythology. Marduk, Inanna, and Enkidu.

Hmm... Mardek Innanu El-Enkidu...
The name "Innanu" (based off the word innane, meaning "silly, pointless, or stupid") seems to be an inconspicuous and somewhat more formal way of saying, "This character is not the sharpest tool in the shed. In fact, he probably isn't even kept in the shed anymore because he's so dull."

Oh and BTW, say I'm fighting a monster with a DEF of 20, and i have an ATK of 18, i deal NO damage to him. But for every 15 DMG, it equals 1 ATK. Lets say I have a DMG of 101, I deal 71 DMG to it. I hope this helps all who are confused about the damage system. The same goes for MATK and MDEF.
