Security orbs' "repair.exe" = WIN! (for anyone who doesn't know computers well, ".exe" stands for "executable," meaning it is a program you can execute.)

'tis a pretty awesome game, but some points about the UI confuse me. Why is it that you cannot click menu items to jump around? When grabbing inventory items to use them with the mouse, it makes sense to make the rest of the menu UI mouse accessible also.

Rockman334 that would totally ruin this thing. It's awesome enough without trying to make it better. Props Pseudolonewolf!

I say this game should be taken and remade into another game where you can make your own character and learn skills that you want to learn press + if you agree with me

And cannot say it more eloquently then anyone else, but this is the best, If you could put all the finished chapters of MARDEK into one game and sell it, I for one, would buy. (i mean when you finish the entire series though) BTW, thumbs up on the pulsing graphics in the BattleCruiser-thing/spaceship. Is much more... (better, high-tech looking) than the original 2007 version. Now, on to chapter Three!

if you go to Qur lake after you escape from the battle-ship, and then go to the dock and press "x", You are told "No Mardek! I know the things have been harsh lately, but you've still got so much to live for!!"

...... it took about two minutes to kill the Dracelon the first time around. This time it is already greatly injured, so it should only take one minute. I have nine minutes left on the clock. Does starting the escape pod really take 8.5 minutes? because that's the only reason I can think of that i couldn't just kill the Dracelon then leave. WHO MAKES AN ESCAPE POD THAT TAKEs EIGHT AND A HALF MINUTES TO START?!?!!?

Incredible game made only by one person, is better than Final Fantasy I and other old RPG games. I rated 5/5 the 3 chapters, thank you Pseudolonewolf!

For all of you out there claiming that the World Saviors are impossible. They aren't you just gotta use some strategy. It is very possible. Tough but possible. I made it through with only Zach getting knocked out once and that was easily remedied with a Phoenix Down.

wrong. the time it takes you to wash your hair = (amount of hair) x (time it takes to wash one hair). so you would be multiplying by zero, always resulting in zero. take that melchior. with a side dish or scones and onions

You have the "right stuff". You have the Magic Touch to make any game you make amazing. You have what the Final Fantasy series had and lost; you have the *spark* that the Pokemon games have, but with proper variety and care. You have a Gift. Do not squander it. Keep making games that the People love, and they will treat you good. If you ever get an opportunity to "sell out" and get your games converted to a handheld gaming counsle (like, say, DS) TAKE IT. We will judge; we will love you for it.

really awesome game!!!! best rpg I have played on kong so far, top 3 all time kong games. I really got a kick out of chapter one, although it was really short. Alot of hard work went into this series. Music and sounds are awesome as well. 5/5. Only thing is, maybe I missed the explanation somewhere, but it took me almost to the end of chapter two to figure out how the skills work, and how to get them. I am still not 100% on this. If I get a skill do I have to fill in the green dot for it to work? And those green points, do you get more every so many levels? In any case really excellent game!

@mofoninja00: Look at your in-game map... it shows secret passages as normal spaces. @pseudolonewolf: Best Flash Game on the Internet (possibly excepting Chapter 3 which I have not yet played) keep up the good work (but please don't revamp the engine again, I like this just fine)

Great game. Controls were a little awkward for me (using the mouse and both sides of the keyboard at the same time requires a number of hands I do not possess), and I slightly resent Ch. 1 for failing to give me my badges, but the controls didn't interfere with my battling and the MARDEK series is just too awesome to hold a grudge for long, so no harm done.
Loved the battle system. Reminded me a lot of a cross between Pokemon (DON'T GO INTO THE TALL GRASS!11!!!) and Final Fantasy (DON'T GO ANYWHERE OUTSIDE THE TOWNS!11!!1!) for some reason. Don't ask why. X3
Although, it's amazing how you can hear someone crying from all the way across a lake... plotfail. XP

... i made sure to save the Tunic from chapter one, so i could teach old, mature Mardek "huff puff" because i remembered that he forgot it the first time i played through this series. It tells me he cannot learn Imagination skills. i am saddened by the fact that they have outgrown their imaginations, which is a horrible thing to lose.

just want to point out to apoclis20 that there has been another group of games that have had an interchapter function. Baldur's gate (if you measure by the amount of fun at the time it would have to be my favorite game) icewind dale (slightly different system (and NOT my favorite game)) and neverwinter nights (more recent (and therefore "better" than BG)). all of these had a function to allow you to keep your character when you moved to the next game, but it was a bit different to the one here
the only one of these that would get less than 4/5 (to me) was icewind dale
sorry for getting a lot off topic. i rate this game 4/5

Did anyone else see the really obscure joke at the guardpost? The two guards are Mercutio and Tybalt. Mercutio and Tybalt are also the names of two characters in "Romeo and Juliet". The first part of the joke is that the personalities are switched in the game. Tybalt in the play in hot-headed and violent, but is portrayed as earth in-game (level-headed), while Mercutio in the the play is generally calmer, but is portrayed as fire in-game (hot-headed). The second part of the joke is that both of them died in the play. Tybalt kills Mercutio, and Romeo avenges Mercutio by killing Tybalt. Just wanted to chuck that one out there. There are also a couple even more obscure jokes in what the guards say (so obscure, I wonder if they're there on accident). It's funnier if you've read or seen "Romeo and Juliet".

"When consumed, this berry instantly restores 50 of your precious mana points. It also causes severe diarrhea, nausea, hallucinations, and malignant tumours, but that's no relevant." You're right, a tumour ain't that bad. Rub some dirt on it, it'll be fine.
