Once I saw that Mardek 3 was up and that Pseudolonewolf updated the saving system on the series I was ecstatic. I like the RPG feel of these games, but 2 years ago I tried Mardek 2 and my saves were always getting corrupted. Now I can finally continue with the series! Thank you so much Pseudolonewolf!

If you look in the OPTIONS part of the in-game menu, you would find that there is an option for QWERTZ compatatablility.
If you give a bad rating for that, you shouldn't rate any game, period.

Little Spoiler: Guys guys guys, the best way to train attack reactions and skills and passives is the goznor zombie attack. You can go in and out of the temple, and they'll respawn, and you can fight one zombie at a time quickly. A save crystal and the YALORT priest is nearby for heals.

I decided to use headphones while playing pretty late, so as not to disturb the younger members of my family. Excellent decision. This game has some of the best chiptuned s*** you'll find for free

This is a good game. However, I just have one difficulty with it. I actually take the time to read the text in such things normally. But that glowing different font text is so horrible to decipher that I've been skipping it to avoid the headache that's forming. How unfortunate that merely the text style chosen stops a person from fully experiencing and appreciating the developer's efforts.

Nevermind. Saw that there were a map in the Inventory. With the Map I found secret ways going throught the walls. I didn't see you could walk throught the walls. I'm throught Chapter 2 now. Going to Chapter 3.

And nope, there's no map shop. Only that map which updates as you walk. (It can find secret corridors btw ;))

How do i destroy the boss in toxic caves after that 'heroes' fight? Only 2 people can deal at least 100 damage to him, and (obivously) boss attacks them first, and i just cant heal them in time...

want to start with some itens like 1 copper ring or the cog necklace?
just complete mardek 1 and use item storage,then when you finish the game,save it and come to mardek 2,the start a new game at mardek 2 and use the mardek 1 save to save mardek 2,then you will mix the two saves,gibing you all the itens you found on mardek 1

I'm sorry, I simply could not stomach the hypocrisy of the preachy characters in this game. One moment they're going on about how killing is always bad (emphasis: ALWAYS). The next, they're all chiming in to justify killing because the victim in question didn't agree with them philosophically, and was an all-around jerk. The way they turn on their former comrade to mollify the female character's conscience was chilling. Could not finish the game.

Protip: talk to the captain of the guard in Canonia after killing the shaman, he will give you 1000 gold coins which you can use to stock up before defending Gonzor

Okay, I'm a bit confused and frustrated. I was about 8 hours in, I had just gotten to the trilobite arena, and I took a break from the game for a while. When I came back, my saved game was gone, and I don't see any way of recovering it. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there any way to fix it?

I'd rather pick Vehrn; both of them perform quite well, though. Vehrn's main selling point is his MASSIVE dmg output against the undead (read: almost everyone worth mentioning). The final Boss is weak against light as well as against air, so both characters will work there. I find Vehrn quite good in Ch.3 - you can equip him to deal Light, Earth and Water/Fire/Air Damage (one of the three latter at one time) which is perfectly fine for the whole game. Zach is stuck with Air, nonelemental Damage and one dark technique with fixed damage (and nonelemental sucks).
tl;dr, Zach's probably worse but still decent...

@Onepiecefan: It's known as fig element, and it basically embodies the mind, I think. As far as I know, no characters or monster know it in this chapter.

I love how even hidden items are highlighted on the map; and i could go on about all the other features i love but I'm sure they've all been stated many many times; excellent rpg =)

@Strongbad123: Go back to where you faced Moric in the catacombs, and you'll find a door behind where you fought him. Through there is social fox's tomb, the zombie dragon and a trilobite key. Be careful, because the monster in that room are much stronger the the ones in the rest of the catacombs.
@Death136: Spr stands for Spirit. It determines the power of magical attacks, your maximum MP, and the effectiveness of several skills in both this chapter, the next, and presumably any new chapters Pseudo makes in the future. The only skill in this chapter (as far as I know) whos damage is known to be determined by Spr (besides magic, of course) is Deugan's spirit blade.
