Awesome game, but the bugs are killing it.
I got stuck in a battle with an enemy that was stuck at 0 life, so the battle wouldn't end and I couldn't fight him. I tried refreshing the page, but now both of my save files are gone.

I agree with the other the effective lack of save function ruins what would be an otherwise good NES-style turn-based RPG. I also wish random encounters could be slightly more frequent. I tried bashing for cash and spent seemingly 90% of the time trying to get a random encounter.

I have just noticed. The game didn't only ruin my chapter 2 save slots. It screwed ALL the save slots, including those I only used for chapter 1.

It's not that he's 'waited' to fix this issue, it's that he doesn't know exactly what's causing it, and so he CAN'T fix it. It worked when he released it, and then Adobe, not him, changed something that caused the save bug. And Brandon, if you had simply gone to his profile, you could see that he does mention the save bug prominently. And for those of you who 'won't downgrade your Flash Player (did 10 even have any important advancements? O_o) to save', the first two chapters will be rereleased along with Chapter 3 around September, with the engine rebuilt. It's a great series of games, so don't rate it down just because of a bug that the developer can't do anything about.

just a suggestion, try changing your web browser. I use Internet Explorer for most stuff but Firefox for this game and I can save fine.

I cannot emphasize this enough: if you grew up on final fantasy 1-6 / chrono trigger you must play this game 5/5

"...make sure you are playing the version marked ... as “v1.2.0912K”. That has the fewest bugs." -Pseudolonewolf ... Yeah, but you neglect to mention that the saves themselves don't work on certain versions of flash players. This is the only flash game I've ever played that had the saves mess up because it was dependant on a version of flash player. This game NEVER should've gotten badges.

4 of 5, I don't want to have to downgrade my flashplayer just to save. If you fixed the save game issues it would be a 5 of 5. It is lame that the developer has waited this long to fix an issue with his game that he is obviously aware of and that has existed for more than a year

its impossible to kill the bandit chief becuase when you just have one guy left he attacks 2 times in a row thats makes it impossible...

What? I killed the bandit chief, got all this awesome things, save, then I come back and everything's gone. Until it's fixed 2/5.

wow, this game is just terrible. I LOVED part 1, but this is just... wow. Save files aren't working at all, got text-triggers in combat (so I can't see what I'm doing in the fight because story conversation is going on and my button input affects both), the fight against four unique opponents in the tainted grotto is impossible, I can't cast Heal out of combat (it says "cast (all six magic symbols) UNDEFINED on who?" instead of (light) Heal)... I was gonna submit bug reports, but it'd take ALL DAY.

haha this game has fun glitches like in chapter 1 while i was playing as a kid both me and my friend died then i pressed new game and the we were both imagination hero mode fighting against the bully lol

the reason that the game doesn't save is because the engine is adapted to flash player ten psuedo has fixed this problem and will release the fixed version along with mardek three in september

LoL i died and lost one my members and cant get him back, ALSO i cant load my saved game BUT apart from all the bugs its a nice game got that final fantasy fighting style with the gameboy pokemon movement.

Donavon is both a girl and a boy. In the mines when Donavon is bossing people about Steele says he doesn't want to take orders off of a girl but Donovon go's into the Men's dorms.

It doesn't work if you download the older flash. In other words epic failer. Would have been 5/5 best game ever if it worked correctly however it doesn't so it is terrible.

the glitch is the most annying thing in this game by far. worked my way to the final boss (6 hours straight grinding) only to lose and have my save file gone. horrific.
the game was around 7.3/5, but moved down to less than 1/5, because the glitch makes it unplayable. you try playing a ten hour RPG from start to finish without stopping, then add in the extras. hemph
