i like how ppl complain about how it has too much writing, when most of the writing is quite amusing and a game without any writing would be boring/confusing (excluding Areas)

The save deletion issue is a well-documented glitch, althoug I hear that the latest version of flash player doesn't have that problem. The third chapter is due in January and will include updates of the first two chapters that will hopefully not have this problem.

hmmm so if you get on the ship before getting the other badges you're screwed?
Unless you can get them somehow while using only Mardek at the end? Should have been thought about better.

After killing the Zombie Dragon, I went to the Grotto and left it by WARP. Suddenly Mardek's WHOLE inventory was gone and the game did autosave :( BAD, BAD GLITCH??!?!

Maybe if you allow cookies to be saved and not to delete them on exit of your browser it may save. I'm not sure though, could be a problem with the game (I'm not having that problem).

I have the latest EVERYTHING on my computer, and the game still won't save.
In most cases, I would make an attempt at trying to do all the badges in one sitting, but honostly, dieing is inevitable in this game. Its going to happen, and its made that way so that you can learn how to do better.
Only other thing I can say about this game is that it was ALMOST fun.

Awesome game, I just wish that the save file glitch didn't delete my file that I beat the first dungeon on (its just a nuicance going through that AGAIN). O well, at least I fixed it (not sure how though O.o). 8 bit graphics = win.

I can't see why people rate this game bad just because their save game was deleted. In my experiences with this sort of thing, it had ALWAYS turned out to be a problem with the computer, not the game. Earlier someone said that the developer failed because the tournament didn't work, but it seems to work for the rest of us. The problem is usually on your end and its not the developers fault for that.

i've just completed the game and i cannot continue to complete other two hard badges...is there any way to do that or am i just screwed?

I did use the paladin to take down the Zombie dragon HLBeta, i actually think he was far more useful in that regard, and i didn't any phoenix down, the only time i use it is to take down the zombie locksmith (who is too annoying to be effectively destroyed by any other means)

The mercenary doesn't seem as powerful as the paladin, but one of his better weapons deals bonus damage to the undead and his crescendo slash technique is both free and the most powerful skill in the game bar none. Short of burying it in pheonix down he's the only realistic way to defeat the Zombie Dragon boss.

We'll MadCrimson, I afraid i can't disagree with you there, the Mercenary would probably be more useful if it weren't for the fact that you are fighting zombies through out MOST of the Game, (at which point the Paladin's powers are Vastly Superior.) I only get him for completeness's purposes, and for the small chance he might appear in another chapter (and be more useful there.)

Saving doesn't work. I've tried a couple of times, playing for a while saving, then coming back later to find my file gone.
And I can't load my file from mardek 1.

Interesting, that never happened to me when I did the hidden tournament. It still works just fine for me, unlucky perhaps?
