To beat the four people, you'll want to bring Zack. Case in point, beserk him, give him full str gear, and watch the blood fly. Mardek should be patching people up, and the rest of the team should be focused on bringing down the healer.

i played this game before and loved it but i was playing on my cuzins comp and when i tried to play it on mine it says wann save 10mb of thus game and i saidd yes and it deleted so i started again smae thing it always happen after i leave the kingdom =[

BTW ANYONE trying to complain about saving, it's Flash's fault not Pseudo's. Oh and as for the graphics; IT"S MEANT TO BE RETRO! The music is awesome I highly doubt anyone dislikes it. As for the gameplay and difficulty if you can't handle any bosses keep training or ask for help; often winning is as simple as exploiting elemental weakness (personally i think the monsters are too weak with the exclusion of the locksmith and social fox). The text is their too make this have a storyline, without it you may as well just be mindlessly bashing sombies. Personally i think the satirical comedy is hilarious and anyone who doesn't get it obviously hasn't played any RPG's before and should go find another genre that actually understand.
The rant you see above is pointed at those who insist on giving a great game like Mardek 2 1/5 just because it doesn't fit into their very smallminded tastes or because their version of Flash srews with their save files.

That Arena was very easy compared to the Dragon. Those 4 wannabe hero's are the end boss. I took them 1 by 1 with. Allie: Lightning Vinnie: Bubbles Bernard: Bubbles and Bart: Flame. ya and way to much dialog. 5/5

Very cool game, btw.
Only giving it a 4/5 because of the frustration of fighting with the interface, which seems to accept mouse commands half the time but ignore them the other half.

Having pulled my saves from Mardek chapter 1, the savegame stuff seems all messed up. First it wouldn't let me save in a new slot... then I tried to overwrite, which failed the first time but seemed to take the second.
Now every time I try to save, it asks me if I want to create a new saveslot 1. If I do that, it overwrites my old save, but lets me access the save menu... and it tells me I can create a new saveslot 4, but it never really does it.
O.o

The music in this game outdoes itself. For a flash game, the compositions sound like a cross between SNES-era Final Fantasy games and Terranigma.

people ther is no saving bug it is a problem with the current edition of flash, the only way to fix this is to downgrade your flash trust me this works, and the developer has said this SEVERAL times

AWESOME! I just lost ALL my save files! That's what you're looking for in a game. Carefully saving at key moments so that should you die, you can restart in a good position, as is a common strategy for RPGs, only to have it all shattered to pieces the first time you die.

to kill muriance you must be defensive use steele special and reactins use emela bubbles and normal hits whit deaugan when he uses ataks heal your ally before is more weak or he will die (use mardek heal and other chars potions) dont be offensive all time

press x to get out of houses. I liked the game. i only stopped playing because i got to the 4 peeps looking for the water crystal, died and then remembered i hadnt saved it for ages... reminds me of pokemon with cool retro graphics. 5/5 other than me forgetting to save X(

dude if you wanted to play a real RPG then why not just play one in the first place? if you hate the story and the dialouge, then don't play it, because this certainly won't change in later chapters.

(tip for the bandit boss) USE MARDEKS HEALING! and before you go there, train in the sewers so you get all the best weaponry and stuff.
