Finally defeated the Zombie Dragon (again). It was much harder this time around, because Phoenix Downs don't do as much damage as they did before the shiny new versions. I just spammed Zach's Crescendo Slash (the one that does more damage each time you use it) and used shield/magic shield on everyone.

The amazing thing about Pseudolonewolf is that he takes games as inspiration, "steals" ideas from them, *coughcoughPheonixDownIsFromFinalFantasycoughcough* then he twists the game ideas in his own way (adding breeding and other stuff to Pokemon to make Beast Signer and adding humor, reactions, and other features to Final Fantasy to make MARDEK). He is currently my favorite game designer, although I'm not into the Raider series, I like that his creativity and intelligence shines through in his games.

Ok I love these games. I think they're brilliant but what I don't understand is why don't they have a single inventory? :s It's just a bit of a hassle lol. Sure I might give a few potions / phoenix downs *cough* to other party members but Mardek holds everything else.
5/5 :D Excellent!

argh ... the middle and most important (maybe) part of my comment is gone... what i suggested was that the map could be opened through pressing M on the keyboard since opening it via the menu seems a little bit intricate to me...

hooray - finally i can play my most favourited RPG on the whole www again. on the keyboard ... I find it a little bit intricate to open it from the menu everytime...

im not sure if holy water should cure silence and the lightning bolt status effect, but it does. seems like a decent cure all at this point. since you get the free ones when you get vel.

@iamted good luck finding a game that is NOT a rip-off. One that is 100% unique, you might find it at the first game ever made.. Every game has something of another, because if the other game is good then why not use it for your own? If that is what is needed to make the game better, I don't give a damn. And @Virgin_Hunter it's between the Eastern Guardpost and Lake Qur. So just go to the lake and go through the left exit and then directly south and you can see a cave. Go in and you can find the hidden arena, at least I believe :P.

5/5, all three of these awesome games. Can't stress this enough, and I'll admit, for an RPG I laughed a heck of alot.

A suggestion. You may add a quick save option that takes you to the main menu when you save and gets deleted when you load, like in 'The Enchanted Cave'. This would prevent the save-load misuse for bosses. And it is needed because sometimes people need to leave in the middle of a dungeon far from a save crystal...

this game is a rip off, more of a phantasy star then final fantasy, the reason i say this is because of the sci fi element, the story that is a continuation of the previous one and those are elements not found in final fantasy, ok so splitting hairs, but its a good game, thanks for taking the time to do these so far it has been an enjoyable experience.
5/5 for the whole series up to now.

I know there's already a comment up there, and probably several more wandering about, but the four-bloke guy is awesome!

A little secret that you might not notice in a typical playthrough: If you talk to Gallovar after saving Goznor from the zombies, he'll give you a yalortian amulet, which can teach your paladin friend green lightning. Figured I should mention it because none of the top comments do and neither does the walkthrough.

ok thats hilarious, so im battling moric for the second time and he kills my peeps and then brings them back to life as zombies. but then he kills the zombies...then he brings them back to life again as zombies. then the zombies start attacking each other. so then its basically me vs moric. for ever.... because my attack sucks. my attack does like maybe 100 each shot and he has like 5000 hp. so yeah it takes forever. then he finally comes around to killing me. but its really funny how all the zombies start killing each other

Hey, Wolf, I found a small bug. Not any real problem. When I tried to equip the silver pendant (Mdef+3) from the bandit cave, the stat increase/decrease shown when I hovered it in the equip slots was acting really funny. The stats were normal after I equipped it, it was only acting weird when I had the pendant on the cursor, about to equip it. If it means anything, I had a few accessories from the first chapter. Not sure if this reoccurs with equipment. Hope this means something. If not, it really isn't a problem. Just thought you should know.

First of all, I love these games. Definitely the best Flash RPG I've ever played. One thing I would like to see implemented, however, is a sort of Quick Save option for those who just can't play to the next save point or wherever. Not a permanent save file, of course, just something that would exist until the next log in. :) Great game!

Pseudolonewolf, i would like to suggest that you allow the commercial buildings to be open in the cities that aren't directly related to the quest if they are closed. This was, if one would like to sell or purchase items, then it would be easier. Thank you for the consideration and wicked game!

*SPOILER* slight problem at the end when you have 10 minutes to escape the ship with the newest version. Being able to negate battles if your high enough level by hitting 'Z' when the '!' shows up make this really easy to do. In the old version I remember that you could not flee from those battles so to make it harder, but now you can get to the pods in 30 seconds, making it kinda weird for Deugan to stay behind to give the others time to escape. You should disable that ability to make the ending a little more dramatic.

Has anyone found the mercenary useful past the tainted grotto? The undead shaman and almost every boss after are undead and the paladin outputs far more damage in those cases.

pseudolonewolf, i am a huge fan, of your mardek games, when i heard you were about to finish the third, i replayed the first two, now im replaying them again so i can have a save on the third(incredible feature btw!!), and even though i just played them, they are still exciting and alot of fun! please keep up the good work!

This game is just awesome, 5/5. And for people that don't know this, when you master a skill, meaning when you max the mastery, it mean that when ever you take off the item that you get the skill from, you get to keep that skill. Now, this may seem like 'no shit sherlock' to some of you, but there may be someone else out there that doesn't know that so ya :D Just so you know :]

Just finished the game and, I must say, it was bloody brilliant. I love the annunaki (I think that's what they're called?) and how they all interact with each other.
I'm proud of what you've accomplished and so should you!

wow, i really dislike the arena system, you have to go a certain number of battles without dying, or breaks, and if you do die then you have to load an old game. Other than that this revamped version is great.

aww man I finished the game again (for the 4th time) slayed the zombie dragon and recieved 100% but I still didn't get the badge....ANyway this game is amazing. The SNES setup is nostalgia of the early Final Fantasy (but better). I like the devian art, storyline and humourous dialogue throughout the game. It supplies at leats 10 hours of gameplay and more if you attempt to get 100% not to mention the countless replayability of the game. I like the new setup system to include a new reaction system to keep the battles more interactive. The grinding of mastering these reactions and skills is addictive. I am a perfectionist for these sort of things, but I find this game flawless in it's perfection. Among the Video Game Greats.

I scored this game a 5/5, but if possible I would've given it about a 4.5/5 because when you're in battle, the HUD (I guess you'd call it that?) doesn't list the characters/enemies in any kind of order that I can see, which sometimes leads to miscast spells and items. The only reason it bothers me is because of 1. the way I play the game and 2. my OCD about little things. Still a great game though :D

Thank you for making these games pseudo. I think the updated version is very nice, especially with the increase in boss difficulty. I have not gotten to play mardek 3 yet, but it will probably be amazing.

What can you do with items such as bat wings, fish-scales, goblin earwax, etc..? Is there any use to them apart from selling them???
