Allow people to choose the action key in options. I would find it much easier with e instead of x and for back, I would use q instead of z.
Also, for ease of use, please add the following buttons:
-M for Map
-K for Skills (S in use)
-I for Inventory
-P for Party
-T for Quest (Do top idea and Q is used)
Allow people to change their equipment in battle for a turn. You could just limit it to weapons if need be.
Make pressing enter close the map at any screen. Especially the map.
These will make it easier to play the game and add a new tactic to the system.

great game, you should go back to areas and search around, look at the map for hints. i once found an invisible chest.

Also, what I ment is the ability to load a game before the game over, because some fights are over before they are over ;) Why waste the time when I am screwed eh?

what's this bug ! I fought against skeletons in catacombs, one attacked Emela, i tried to protect her with her water protecting spell and it increased damage at 54 ! Next, I attack with Zach and damages are lowed to 8 with his fire ability !

I am indeed currently working on MARDEK 3, and have made considerable progress on it! I'm working on it and getting more done every day; I'd estimate that it'll be out in a month or two. Though that's a really vague guess and things could get in the way, so you shouldn't interpret it as an official release date sort of thing.
And I thought the Options DID save...? They do for ME... I can also load games from the Game Over screen after battle... can't you?

Any chance you can confirm for us pseusolonewolf that you are making a 3rd chapter?
Alot of developers start off with the intention of making a series, but then never finish it, and I would hate for that to happen with this :( Its got an awsome storyline, and hella addictive gameplay.
(Note: #1 You should make the options settings save, so you dont need to reset them to what you want everytime you re-load #2 Could make it so you can reach the menu from in combat so the Encyclopedia / Help / Save+Load / Options menus are accsessable. Saves having to reload the page to load a game after you die)

Great great great game! That was fun to play. And I placed #41 in the all-time top heroes list!
@FAHDY: If you go into the Skills menu and look at Emela's actions, choose the Aqualung ability and press the X key.
@oneguynamedjosh: Although it's not 100% complete, there's a decent-length walkthrough at the FigHunter forums. Might be worth a look.

Look up "Encyclopaedia" on Wikipedia or something with that spelling...
And I'm aware of the Smite I bug with Vehrn, but apparently when I try to upload the new version here, the size of the game gets set back to the small version, which is not great at all!
I'll probably contact the staff to ask them to bring back the option of manually specifying width and height for a game...

What version of Flash player are you using, last commenter? And are you allowing Flash to store as much data as it needs to? Does your browser delete cookies and temporary internet files and things?

Have noticed a lot of bugs as I've played - items dissapearing from inventory, saves going back to earlier points in time, and so on. No exactly helpful. Especially when you loose the bulk of your healing items and the pheonix down...

Go back to the places you've been before for extra bonuses. The Gem Mine has a basement with some nice treasure. Also, I went back to the bottom of the tainted Grotto, and after randomly hitting X on the bottom floor, I found the Geojacket. There must be tons of stuff hidden all over the game.
Also, only found one Trilobyte Key...

Phew! Finally beat the world's saviors!
All you have to do is focus on one at a time. The black and white mage first, then the thief and warrior. (Warrior goes last, with any help he can 1-hit-kill anybody in the team)

sometimes, I'll kill something, and then it lays there dead, with 0 hp, and it won't go away, and I can't keep fighting it, but the battle doesn't end, because its not "killed".

can't kill the second Moric ~_~
His 1 hit kill is just ~ ARG! and since all the stores are closed (night time and zombie infested) can't buy anything before boarding Moric's battleship ~_~ T_T

Huken, at any point during playing, did a grey box thing pop up in the game with a different style to the rest of the graphics asking you if you wanted to allow Flash to store data? You have to specify that it can, otherwise data obviously isn't saved properly.
Right-click in the game and select the Settings option; make sure the bar is full, at "Unlimited", just in case.
Though it could also be some other security option with your browser that automatically removes stored data when you close it... Hm. Check your browser settings?
The saving works fine for me though, and everyone else, it seems, so there's nothing wrong with the saving...

ANy one come across this other wierd thing with this game? Found an item called Polemace, yet, no one can equip it as a weapon?

maverick you have to use elemency with emela to deal damage when you use emela to attack with a rod she's actually taking away the enemies MP and adding it to hers and plus if you want a lot of gold then dont fight weak monsters in small numbers you wont get anywhere with that try to fight monsters of fair challenge to you in HP, skill and damage i usually fight zombies pestilants and skeletons in trio's and i make like 97-160 gp every time and now im over 3000 generic gold coins so be sure to keep this in mind

its so hard to buy stuff...have you ever thought of lowering the prices of things a bit cheaper and raising the amount of gold dropped and have the rod that emela uses not do damage and heal at the same time? cuz really she doesnt do anything..and a more ether drop rate kind of thing? at least.

I like the invisible chests, and hidden key.
Those really make it an incentive to explore everywhere and use the map function.

but important notes:
.loading savegame from ch1 into ch2 seems to have a bit of an issue: it seems that whatever items were in Deugan's possession didn't get transferred over. wasn't a huge deal for me, i think i lost little more than a few potions.
.occasionally, using a skill from the menu doesn't work right. i'll load the menu, go to skills, action, and pick a skill (like Mardek's Heal, or Emela's Aqualung) and when it pulls up the "select target" window, the skill being cast shows "undefined" and cycles through all the elemental symbols, and the skill won't cast. i've had to exit the menu all the way out to the driving screen, sometimes more than once, to be able to cast on my heroes.
.Smite I seems to reset itself. apparently a known issue.

-LOVE- the series. the humor's great, the storyline's decent (i'm not a connoisseur, or that might get a better comment) and the gameplay is quite good.
ergonomics are slightly improved in ch2 vs. ch1, though i still have some issues. larger screen is great; being able to read everything makes it much less frustrating.
