I did load my last save, but I didn't get the badges. Fortunately, I keep all my saves, so I only had to re-fight the battles (and find one chest) for the win.

I can't get into the lake even though i've casted that aqualung spell like 5 times on each character. is there a bug or something?

These are your reaction commands, which you need to assign to A, S, or D (simply select it and hit the key you want it assigned to). Then, in battle, when your attack hit the enemy, press the key you assigned it to, or for defense, when the enemy hits you, hit that key. It takes a while to get the timing down (believe me, I thought it was broken at first, but with practice you can get good at it). Keep in mind the weapon that enables you to learn that skill needs to be equipped until it is mastered. Hope this helps ;)

hi i just want to say great game i have ever only had two problems with it. Number one i played for 3 hours or so and made lots of progress and then when i came back in the morning and i save from the very beginging, which i think i may have just deleted cookies or something and 2. i think there should be a load button in the menu, because i ahve a bunhc of save files and occasionally i load the wrong one and i have to refresh the page, but other than that i think it is a great game and that there should be more games story driven, and games that actually have enough depth that you need the help section. Personally i think it is better than most consol RPGs great game keep up the good work.

Vehrn seems to lose his "Smite I" everytime i load a game.....other than that excellent game! oh also, for chp 3, let's have holywater hurt undead XD

I think that the Paladin is a better guy for beating the Four Heroes than the Merc. The Paladin can smite evil and that really hurts the one wizard guy. I would recommend killing them in this order: Healer, Wizard, Thief, and then Knight.

By the way, some weps have abilities. If you master them, you permanently have them. Otherwise, you only have it as long as the wep is equipped.

In the tainted grotto, when you fight the 4 heroes it is really hard. Use Mardek, Deugan, Emela, and Zach. For those of you who dont know who zach is, get 1000 gold and go to the Canonia Inn. Zach is the black guy near the counter. To beat the heroes get the defence up as high as possible for each person. For Mardek, use the iron sword, and breastplate. Also, use shield. For Deugan, use the Iron Greatblade and breastplate. Emela use lightning rod, hat, brnz shield, and hempen robe. 4 zach, use his default wep and breastplate. All the melee guys should also have a leather helm.

I'm stuck on how to kill the 4 adventurers in the tainted grotto--anyone have any pointers? I love this game btw--favorited and 5/5--i just hope that if/when badges are added they work in such a way that those of us who have played don't have to replay what we've already done.

In my top 5 flash rpg's of all times. Seems how a lot of people are against the 'talking'. However, I love a storydriven rpg. And this one is a great example 5/5

I love this game! its dialogue may be long but its pretty funny if you actually take time to read it. I just cant kill those four guys you meet in the tainted grotto.

This game is great! The story and dialogue are the best, makin fun of the old school RPGs!
I love it! Like I did Zelda, Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Chrono trigger, etc. So.. probably I like RPGs :P

sweet game loved so much i agree it does take a lot of time to finish but i finally did though i didnt get any badges it still was a great gave 5/5 100%

I mean come on, graphics are great, second just cause you can't read a book doesn't mean you should talk crap about this amazing game for being a game with a very good/interesting story, third German? I'm just gonna leave that one alone, fourth the music goes with the game. So shut up and Dalmuti more power too you. Sorry if this seems overly mean but I love this game.

Qwerty_414, I had no trouble at all killing those bandits... you're probably just fighting the wrong way.
And if it's a "highly story-driven" game, of course it will have a lot of dialogue.

"highly story-driven" so yes, there is lots of text. The story and the snarky text is what kept me playing.
"in the style of NES and SNES RPGs" so yes, the graphics are old school. It doesn't hurt the game and gives it a nice feel.
And the French accent for Jacques was perfect and very silly.

this game made me mad.
first off, graphics are annoying, feel free to go old school, but not back to the creation of video games. Pong is better graphics than this.
second, too much dialogue. i dont play a game to try to read a book. cut it down, i pressed the Z key for about 20 minutes nonstop before i could even walk.
third, Jacques, the name if French. Steele isnt a name at all. and Zis and Zat if definitely not french. German? yes. next time you see a german named jacques tell me. actually dont cause i dont care.
Fourth, the music sucks.
Kudos for trying to make a Zelda-like RPG. But it sucked from the beginning. Sorry mate.

Great game.
There should definitely be a HARD BADGE for finding the Trilobite keys, getting to Cambria and then completing the arena challenge.
By the way, PhoenixDown is also very useful to attack the very hard undead characters like the ZombieDragon.

When I'm in the battle against the bandit leader, why do my characters skip their attacks even when they haven't had a spell cast on them at all? Also, I tried the load game option, but know I'm randomly stuck on the screen where I encounter the leader, but with no characters on the screen.
