Great game just finished
controls could be smoother but not bad, like the story and kinda hate it at the same time trademark of a good one no? sadly it took all game to realise to use the map...till that sign...paladins skills seem a bit buggy in my menu it says 0 but when im fighting i have mastery again(ihad died and reloaded) very good game keep up the good work cant wait for the next!

I got a bug for a bit where I couldnt use any abilities outside of combat, but I just fought a few enemies and it went away. 5/5 stands.

How come everytime i load the game, verhn loses his smite I skill and its reset to zero again... and again..
Anyways. the heroes are pretty easy if your around lvl 6-8 and take down the cleric, mage then thief, and finally the warrior

godamnit chapter bugged out and i had to do it with only mardek and chapter 2,........ verhn has lost all his abilities and is making this shaman impossible to kill

I found that it helps to attack their cleric first, then the dark element guy, then the warrior, and finally the theif. Obviously it helps to check what their elemental weaknesses are.

i can't beat the part where ur 4 heroes has to face the enemy four heroes:Bernard,AAlia or whatever they're called =( i just keep losing 'cos that guy hits iin mid 0's easily..

If Z doesn't work, that means that CAPS LOCK is on. Turn it off and it will work again.
Also, if people are going to complain about the controls (or anything, for that matter), can you please at least suggest how they could be improved?

excellent game, too bad we have to wait for the upcoming chapters! Loved the humor, just wish there was a bit more emotion and depth to some of the more "critical plot-line changes" and end boss battles - kinda easy.

Bug found:
In the caves, just as I walked up to the bandits and started the dialog, a random encounter occurred. I ended up fighting the encounter as the dialog was going on, and then the bandit bandit encounter got overlayed over the monster encounter, but I could only target monsters. I killed the monsters, it gave the victory screen, and let me walk around with the bandit fight screen still showing. Next random encounter, bandit shows up in the list of enemies at the top as 'UNDEFINED', but still can't target him, thus can't end the battle.

I don't really think this games lives up to the first one, it took me like 5 tries to kill the bandit chief because Mardek was asleep like 4 turns.. It's still good though 4/5

I just intended to test this game for a few minutes before going to bed and the hours just zoomed by.
Great game. Just like the classics.
A few tweaks away from perfection.
Not finished with this chapter yet, but I already want more.

ZO MY GOSH!!!! its an awesome game, but there needs a lot of expansion. The story needs to be brought out. I mean alll the way out. From chapter 1 to whatever. Its like playing multiple games, i think its much better to take a long time to make one game and then have it to be uber awesome. 3/5 because of annoying bugs Xl

Im at the part with the bandits and the bandit saying hes four ppl is not seen and his name sais ERROR. WHat do i do? btw this game is a 4/5

Nice game except for the dungeons being way to long and/or to frequent random encounters. Seriously tried my patient to the point where I almost stopped playing. Tons of super easy fights are not interesting, just tedious. Try making fewer but more interesting fights for next chapter.

If you save at the end of chapter 2, the save counts as a chapter 3 file, and therefore can only be loaded in chapter 3. (It does say "C.III"...)

Hey there, after seeing Chapter 1 had badges and completing them (that's beating the game for the second time now) I decided to come here and see if save data (which was for game completion) for this one was intact (It wasn't for chapter 1). The odd thing is, while I can't load my data, I can see it. The save slot is darkened as if there wasn't a file but there's definately file information in the slot:
Mardek Lv:9 1
08:00:48 C.III END OF CHAPTER 2
What has happened?

Great game, even greater humor :D Was definitely worth playing it for ~13 hours. Too bad chapter 3 still takes some time :(
5/5

Decent. Graphics are a bit sub-par, but maybe that's for the retro feel.
Not quite as straight forward as it could be, I could not make sense of a few things, but still wroth playing.

Above and beyond what I thought flash was capable of. I liked some of the mouse-capable controls from the first version, but otherwise an excellent game. A testament to the innovative abilities of the programmer.

Amazing. Incredible. I'm shocked beyond words at how low this is rated. Great sense of humor. Great art direction, while still keeping that 8-bit feel. Top-notch RPG gameplay that never gets old. Great character development. I could go on and on, but that wouldn't stop idiots from rating "LOL 1/5" after they die once.
5/5, would go 6/5 if it were possible.

a few things were missing, like being able to seperate groups of items and give them to partymates. maybe if levels did something for your stats...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
one suggestion though ... in the next chapter give Emela or some other magic user an "attack all enemies" spell ... it would make fighting groups quicker ... and you could even increase the max number of enemies in a fight

This seems to follow the ancient line of "If you're not a genius at strategy and tactic, as well as got enough luck to win the lottery twice in a row, then you need to grind exp"
Very good game though
