This has bugged me all game.
Where did the Dark Crystal guardian go? Did *cough* 'mystery' man kill it? or Solaar?
And for that matter is there an Air guardian?

@nipplesbutt: I don't think so, Moric's circle is red, Dreamcircles are green. Althought this couldn't mean no difference.

I think that perhaps the reason the Goznor Sewer is blocked off is for Dreamcircle stuff. If you are observant than you may have noticed that where you fight Moric the first time there is a bigger version of the Dreamcircle entrances. This may or may not allow you to go into Social Fox's Tomb and the Catacombs in Dreamworld. If I way off on what was planned I hope Pseudolonewolf sees this and takes it into consideration.

My opinions of the advantages of mardek 3 and epic battle fantasy 3: The story line is much more detailed in Mardek 3, EBF3 has combo attacks, Mardek 3 has much longer gameplay, EBF3 has slightly better combat graphics, Mardek 3 has lots of humour, Mardek 3 requires more detailed strategy. I like mardek more than EBF3, even though i have played both games and am really close to the end in both games. There are some extra things i would like to see in chapter 4. 1: multiple-hit attacks. Unfortunately this could ruin the "retro theme" that this game thrives on so im not really big on this one. 2: The ability to see maps other than the one of your current area. I don't want to have to memorize which door takes me where. 3: 5 character slots. I just think the V-formation during battle needs to be complete.

Is there a reward 4 killing the security demon? if so then that sucks because there is no way to cancel the golden warp pass

Great game! i can only hope more of the Governance de Magi decide to come down one at a time in order to try and stop me lol. seriously, keep the chapters coming!

FOR LAPTOP USERS: The game seems to lag a lot if the computer is not plugged in for some reason. I don't know if it's just me but if this is true for you please + this message.

Hehe beat the Griffin 2nd time the battle chests are a good feature always make me think before I actually go for it.

I hope that people realize that this game wasn't made by a corporation like armorgames or crazymonkeygames...etc.. and that it was made by pseudolonewolf alone and that he makes 3+ other series of games mardek being by far his most popular and well deserved because he spends hours upon hours days upon days months upon months making them and he redid the entire engine for chapter 3 and was nice enough to add it to chapters 1 and 2 to improve the experience to people who just found the game or want to find out what the hell is going on in chapter 3 so shutup haters and try to make a game better than this because this is in the top 3 of free rpg games

attacking yourself then healing can level you up but its one of the most ineffectives ways of doing so and only useful for quickly mastering skills if you want to level up find some strong enemies you can easily defeat or do any side missions you might have or just continue with the storyline

I enjoy the posts referencing and appreciating the various (genre) allusions embedded in Mardek. But, for me, (and I apologize globally if this has already been called attention to in the forum) the play in "Act V" as performed by The World's Saviors was over the top (i.e. exceptional, and on so many levels). While the obvious nod's to Shakespeare, more specifically it points to "The Mousetrap" from Hamlet (a tragedy) and / or (more pointedly) "The 'Tragic Comedy' of Pyramus and Thisbe" from A Midsummer Night's Dream (a comedy, performed by the "Rustics"). Psuedolonewolf, you need to know: you've made me feel joy these past few weeks. I haven't done so in a while. This truly is art. Thank you.

Killing the security demon should be a cosmetic achievement that doesn't affect gameplay in the slightest except for something to brag about.
Because DAMN, it is awesome to do! (Not to mention getting like 57k exp for my weak party of about lv18s).

gah...wish i could save after fire guardian. i can probably defeat the heroes, but having to also beat the fire guardian everytime?

Mardek can target everyone in his party with Heal if you hit the right button well targeting a member of your party already.
