I really hate how there's not a lot of checkpoints or something near a sort of minor boss, like the Sand whatever. I died there and now I have to start back at the inn.

wow how can people say this game sucks it has plenty of content, story, gameplay and lots of humour and it has good retro graphics 5/5
and all you haters i dare you to make a game anywhere near as good honestly just try it and you probably realise how much effort goes into it

My only critique is that you can't go back to get things if you missed them (I'm looking at you, chalices), especially spending 10+ hours playing the game and not knowing they were necessary to get the impossible achievement. Forced replayability is not the same as replaying for fun.

I haven't had a chance to play this yet, but I am absolutely ecstatic! I've been waiting for the next chapter in this saga since my freshman year! It's been at least a two year wait, but I know it's going to have been worth it.

It sickens me that games like Sonny are rated higher than this. The Sonny series is garbage compared to the MARDEK series. This game is an absolute masterpiece. Definitely one of the best flash games out there.

Beyond being a great RPG with lots of depth, this game is really funny at times. I'm actually surprised that is manages to be both heartfelt and comical. I haven't had as much lighthearted fun playing an RPG since Earthbound (with which this shares many positive qualities). I'm honestly shocked that the developer is planning to make several more chapters after this. If they are as well-designed and as deep as this one, the series will really be epic. The main criticism I have with the game is is the tediousness of trying to master the relevant abilities on your less frequently used characters before they get new equipment.

i love this soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool although i cannot beat thar kronos arimus i love the game but should have more badges it cool but i would give it 4/5 sorry but i would if iyt was better i would put 5/5 sorry but 4/5 for now

I just don't get it anymore... Do the people who say they hate this game just saying that to be different or something!? I can imagine that there are alot of immature 10 year old boys on this site who think they're funny/cool by saying curse words. I just can't think of any other explanation, because this game is awesome on so many levels.

yeah...i kinda agree with fury....killing Deugan WAS sad....but hey, there are still 5 chapters to bring him back....if he isn't somehow brought back at the end of this one...and even if he isn't brought back...i like to think he kicked that dragon thingy's arse all the way to eternity XD.....but yeah...loved chapters 1 & 2....i know this will be amazing...and i think i found out why i lost my data from ch. 1 a while back...stupid browsing history deletion i bet...oh well XD

To beat the security guard, have null air, morality block and some way to poison it (you can buy bottles at the lizards shop). Then just wait it out (keep recasting, healing anyone dead etc.)

This rocks my socks. But I can't help but fret and dwell on the previous chapter; is there any way to save Deugan? I totally had time to kill the Dragon thing again. :/

I have detected a flaw in the walkthrough. It says once you take an elemental crystal you cant get the assoicated chalice. This is incorrect As I have done so. Rate this up if you think its important.

i am a hardcore console gamer, and i usually refuse to play flash as they pose little challenge or they are a great challenge with no reward for your work. this game on the other hand has, ascending challenges, great reward, some humor, and is just a great all around game and is in my book one of the best games on kongregate that is... well, this is a game that i hope other programmers (such as my self) will look up to for inspiration, and to all of the nay sayers who wine about the graphics, look at scott pilgram one of the most famous graphic artists uses sprites and he is getting his own movie. so i tip my hat to pseudolonewolf. keep up the good work!

I have enjoyed the previous chapters, but this one is getting very aggravating. I am getting my ass kicked on the simplest of random battles. All my characters are within one level of the enemies and yet some can still one hit me!

5/5 An absolute great game. The only bad thing I have found so far is the music... sub-par. Other than that, the gameplay, storyline and overall quality are definitely something I would have paid good money for back in the days of gameboy advance.

Well, varied backgrounds, enemies, and gear were excellent, music could be batter (5/5).
This genre, atleast for me, is fantastic, total of 8 chapter is all what i really want for some time play, and much better is that u can use your last save on the next chapter... so good startegic (5/5)
The tedious thing is when beginning a new chapter I have to learn almost all the skill again! this is boring me... Nevertheless this game has a skill tree great, in the point that warrior cannot be mage/prist/rougue (all on the same guy), but the skill way is not so good atleast on my point of view... (4/5)

Don't listen to people complaining about the graphics, Pseudo. They didn't even look at the amazing artwork that is in the battle/cutscenes. Plus, the sprites classic look is what makes the game amazing.

Pseudolonewolf, despite any of the idiot's negative comments, I just want to say that this is one of the best flash RPGs that I've EVER played. You really capture the nostalgia of past, old-school RPGs. It's NOT a Final Fantasy ripoff, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise; you've created a phenomenal homage. The battles are interesting, the art is awesome...I've enjoyed playing and exploring the world you created from Chapter I. Not sure how much sense I'm making, but I just want to tell you how much I appreciate this creation.

I Love how an extra part to a game comes out and everyone automatically assumes that just because it's part of a series its the most amazing thing ever. Which.. in fact its just another of those flavor of the month "we wish we could come up with something fairly original but cant so we'll steal some ideas then change them just enough to not get sued" random game

Very fun to play! Can't get enough of it.
Only thing I would like is the ability to load "completed chapter2" saves during chapter2, to work on improving our characters, or equipment we missed, or optional content.
And likewise for chapter three :)
Oh... And release a copy for the gameboy colour >.> But I know that won't happen unfortunately. I would buy it though, And I do hope most people enjoying it would too!
