Ugh, Flash crashed during the fight against the saviors, after being surprised the first time and losing the fight. Have to kill the fire guardian for the third time. There really shouldn't be two boss fights without the ability to save between them.

I love how between two spellcasters who have achieved knighthood by distinguishing themselves in battle, the chieftain of a warlike race sentient reptiles, a cold blooded mercenary, a paladin who devoted his entire life to serving his god through martial discipline, a being chosen to guard what is probably the planet's most dangerous artifact, and a freaking metal monstrosity driven by the souls of the dead, the two most badass characters in the game (aside from Mardek) are a pair of 17 year old girls from the boondocks.

Wow, there's even a sonny bashing in this one! OMG! I only just noticed it (during my 2nd playthrough). I keep discovering new things, even after more than 100 hours of playing =D

Guys, this is my first comment, so I would appreciate it if you took it easy and slow. Let's try not to rush things.
That being said, I have an announcement. Of every single RPG that I have played, particularly Retro ones such as the first FF's and that thing before Pokemon, this series is quite possibly the greatest. The casual comedy that points out the flaws and little nicks and scratches in the logic behind retro RPGs is, quite frankly, spot-on and hilarious. My favorite quote from the entire series (mind, I haven't finished part 2, and as a result, have not touched on part 3) is "You stand no chance against me, cause im actually four blokes!" I will admit that I had to take a minute after the laugh on that.
But, I digress. This game has an excellent system, very complex, and is flawless in pretty much every way. Thank you for make this, Pseudo, it is really appreciated.

I also realized another thing, I am the most powerful thing on the planet and If I want to open a door but it's locked, I can't break it down...., Instead I go around to the most dangerous places kill some very large monsters and get the key...

I just realized something, This game doesn't deserve 5/5.... Having to constantly move my hand between the mouse and arrow keys is silly. Non-customizable key bindings are really a silly thing but they annoy the hell outta you if you start thinking about them..

I think mardek becomes far too overpowered by the end, Mine is already lvl 44 so he's only 6 lvls away from the lvl cap, Rainbow disk, Scarab of health, Glyph shield and the suit make him nearly invulnerable to everything but fig. Can't wait to see how wolf deals with it..

Gloria is one of the best character ever. She has Null for fire,air,earth and water. Come on, how can you dislike her? Solaar and Elwyeen are a deadly duo. Solaar uses spirit graft until Elwyeen is at 100 spr. Then you can use things like Dolorous dirge or def boosters or mdef boosters and they wont hit high. Mardek is awesome in this one. 4 elemental attacks. Just awesome. Mardek,Gloria,Solaar and Elwyeen is a deadly team. 5/5 this game is awesome.

wow I could not play this game for a year for only one reason, Deugen's death. I played for fifteen minutes then quit. now I hooked. I think I'm a huge idiot for not playing this game sooner I'm only in the light temple still but I can see that this game is going to keep me entertained for a really really long time! Pseudolonewolf you make truly fantastic games and each one surpasses the last. you have beautiful future of game design ahead of you! keep up you amazing work. also a quick note when this whole series is done I was thinking you should release a game consisting of all Mardek games for consoles (if this is even possible). I'm sure if you would alot of people would buy that game.

I absolutely love this game.
It's more than worthy of being called an RPG.
I've spent over 90hrs just leveling up, getting all the equipment, and completing all the side quests.
The graphics are very well done and the storyline is one of the most interesting I've seen in an RPG game in while.
But, naturally, I have two complaints.
I beat both of the super-bosses(which was complete luck to be honest) and completed everything in the arena, but I didn't get the badge?
I worked damn hard for that badge(especially with those [PROFANITY]ing super-bosses) and I deserve it.
And lastly, I only played chapters 1-3 in the past 2 months, but why the heck isn't the 4th one out yet?
Call me impatient but I wanna play the 4th one asap!

This is possible the greatest flash RPG ever created. It is so big you couldn't enter in into one game. The world is extremely interactable, and the storyline is AMAZING. I love the music and the graphics of this game. As Azadude said, it is quite nostalgic with the feel of the game. It has simple game controls yet the challenge can be great. Another great thing is I never find myself grinding hours on end. Most of my hours on this are spent wandering the vast world and talking to people, and going with the storyline. I love the humor in this game, especially the part where they ask if you are a terrorist. Also, another problem I have with most games if that you tend to get repetitive going through dungeons and caves. However, with this, not only are the dungeons interesting and laid out with care, they are not too long and provide a challenge yet get to the points. My only complaint would be that on fighunter, the part on Mardek Chapter 4, it says 0% done.

@Flamewarrior Sorry, pseudo has said he won't even start Mardek 4 until late next year most likely. He's taking time from Mardek to work on other games.

@GameBuilder15 If you played Mardek Chapter 2, you'd immediately know who the Mystery Man is, and why he has an eyepatch over his eye. You'll see that many characters from Mardek 2 come back in a different way in this one. Plus, I can't wait for Mardek 4 to be unleashed. Imagine the epicness!
