I have just got the Psychosomatic Exhaustion Badge and would like to congratulate Pseudolonewolf on this great success of a game. I watched the progress bar on his home page for months on end (it got stuck at 99%) and believe this is truly one of the greatest games I have ever played. Many games outstrip it in graphics (though he made a good shot at it) but nothing beats this in plot, it was physically moving, especially at the end, though I shall not ruin the story for everyone
So again, thank you for an excellent game, well worth the time.
And for anyone reading this (I'm not saying + this :D)
READ THE WHOLE DIALOG! IT's WORTH IT

Haha, the Annanuki at the end say that a team of fully leveled up characters may be able to take them out at this point. Is that a challenge..? :) *gets all characters to lvl 100*

I think an awesome add-on to the end of the chapters (after you finish every game) would be to add a mini-chapter of the antagonists' stories. I would love to see the World Saviours' story and how they began to think that *they* were the protagonists in this game! Along with that, I would love to see a chapter with Enki's wanderings in it. I think they would be a fun way to add extra backstory.

Alright... Just two things... There's SOOOO much backstory in this game that I want to put out 5 comments with extreme spoilers in them! I felt like crying almost at the end, though after what happened at the play. *sniff*. BTW, pseudo, do I get the feeling that we will be able to use Emela, Enki, and Jacques in future chapters? Aside from the fact that we are given their weapons, Emela mentions that she wants to join us, and Enki, I'm sure is bound to come back sometime or we will find him *dead* somewhere. Also, we are given Jacques weapon of choice, and he seems rather bored with his job as Guard Captain. Hmm.

@Pinchanzee That is the point of those battles. You have to be constantly ready. The antagonist battles after the crystals (after the fire and the earth crystals, you have to fight an antagonist) are just a test; I find them harder than the guardian battles themselves. All you need to do is heal up right after you defeat the guardian (with the exception of the water guardian -- no battle after you defeat her, just more plot) and you should be fine (And be well leveled, of course!).

Eh, you're really expected to be able to beat the "world's saviors" having just beaten a boss, no save point? That's simply annoying - having to repeat a boss battle that you fairly won.
My only dislike of the game so far.

Bahah I love Bernard's reaction attack: "Heh." I got Vennie confused and he attacked Bernard, and Bernard did the "Heh." reaction and did over 1k damage to Vennie and healed over 1k. Lolz.

@milesprower77 You are probably using Internet Explorer. This is a common problem with IE. Switch to another browser like Firefox and it works better.

ummm...my saved games are gone!! i had the games carried over from chapter 1&2 and had already beaten the sun temple...but now it's completely gone! Anyone else have this happen to them?!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Pseudo, here's 25 kreds. It's not much, but it's all I had. Thanks for your amazing series... Even though I'm not nearly done with this chapter yet. You are the top on my favorite games. Thanks again!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@dunnybunny4 Yes, but ANYBODY who completed the sun temple (And got the first few dreamstones) and/or completed chapter two could guess or would know this already. If you read older comments, a LOT of them are about Emela/Water Guardian. It really isn't that much of a spoiler anymore (Although it really still should be).

The Security Demon is actually pretty easy, with some good luck, a few Noxious Bombs, and Morality Block/Null Air spam.

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE WATER TEMPLE LADY GUARDIAN THINGY LOOKS LIKE EMELA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FROM CHAPTER 2 OMGYOMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@windracket The only possible way I could see that you could destroy it is if you spend days of your life grinding low-level monsters (because you can only warp across the seas 4 times if you want to fight it) until you get to level 50... And even then it'd be hard.

Hah. In the volcano, when you talk to Rohoph he says that he has "precious little to say about this furnace of the earth", whereas Gloria tells you that you should "appreciate natures' beauty and majesty". Which ally do I agree with? *sigh*

Is it even possible to kill the so called security guards of warport everytime they say holy sh** a TERRORIST MWARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! *morphs into satin* just asking people cuz if u slained one your god to me

I wish Legion's eyes changed during battle. I don't think Miserable Ol' Martin would be good in battle ALL the time... I would rather have Baron Von Doomkill attacking; he seems much more violent and could probably do more damage! Hah.

Help I'm stuck in a fight with a pixie! It put berserk on all my guys so I can't control anybody, and I have regen on everybody so it can't kill anybody. I seems to be immune to physical damage. So I'm stuck in a never ending battle.

@mad_scientist13 You don't go into the air temple. What you do is complete the other three temples (water, fire, earth), and then go into the air temple and there will be a knight and guard waiting for you telling you that the king has summoned you. When you go to the king, you have the 'final' fight and after you defeat him, you go and defeat Qualn alone. You can't get into the air temple. On that note, why is it possible for me to get into the Miasmal Citadel if I only have 4 miasmal chalices? It seems like the Citadel would *require* the Light/Dark/Fire/Water/Earth/Air/and maybe Aether chalices to *actually* get in. Hmm.

To the people who say that this is a Final Fantasy ripoff -- You are both correct and incorrect. You are correct because many names, character pictures, and words, are, yes, from the FF series, but you are also incorrect because PSEUDO GIVES FINAL FANTASY CREDIT on fighunter.com. For example, on his guide on fighunter, he mentions that the skill 1000 needles is a skill with the same name from FF (VII I believe it said). Before you say that something was stolen from something else, you have to see if the credit is given. It is, in this case. The FF series is a completely different storyline, it is not like you do the same thing, with a different name. I get annoyed when people say this.

frankly I'm just a little bit dissapointed that it's impossible to fight security after getting the gold warp pass, I wish there was still a way ti engage them (After I level up more, of course)

I've got a question about berserk. How do you remove it? Remedy doesn't work. As an aside, remedy doesn't remove shield either.

This game is epic. There's no other way to describe it. It is the Baldur's Gate of Flash RPG.
I don't really like Japanese RPGs. I much prefer Western ones. This game won me over. It is huge, detailed, exciting. Each character is perfectly designed, and the tactical options that open up as each one progresses makes combat a constant delight.
To those who say this is a Final Fantasy rip-off, I say this.
When the only games you can meaningfully compare a free flash RPG to are multi-million dollar commercial products, constructed over years by dedicated, professional development teams - THAT IS NOT AN INSULT.
If this game had been released in 1998 for the Playstation, it would have swept all before it. It is a monumental achievement, and the fact that it does not hold the top spot on every website's highest rated RPG list is a joke, a travesty, and a testament to the stupidity of twitch gamers and keyboard jockeys who think they have an opinion.
Superb.

If you are having problems with the World Saviours (I saw MANY comments about "how to i beat them?"), its easy: What I did is throw a noxious bomb on Bartholio and Vennie, and they basically killed themselves and their party until they became un-confused (Vennie made Bernard almost useless). I also used the skill Whirlpool because it reduces spirit, which makes Bernard deal less damage, and Aalia heal for less. I got Aalia healing only about 100 each time, and if Vennie MugWortJuiced her, my party could easily stop the 500 health and killed her. Then I got Vennie, since Bernard was still useless with low spirit. After Vennie died, I attacked BOTH Bernard AND Bartholio because I didn't want Bartholio to go into berserker rage. Bartholio should be low on health by now because the noxious bomb should have poisoned him, so the rest of the battle should be easy.

@windracket You COULD just check the walkthrough... or go to fighunter.com.... or check the forums... Buuuuut: I will help you. The crystal flower is received by fighting the Master Crystal in the room in the water temple that was blocked by the Moonstone gate. It is in one of the "secret chests" that are hidden as objects (check your map; its in the north side of that cave). Also, the other ingredient is the Wretched Skull. You get that by going into the Volcano, turning right at the first fork (leads up to a door), talking to a little cage thing on the wall, then talk to the hermit (he's somewhere in the volcano, but I don't feel like describing every turn to go down), and mention the soul cage. Then go back to the soul cage and fight the Wretched Skull. Hope this helped.

anyone know how to find the ingredients for legion? I know the crystal flower is somewhere in the water temple and i already have the aether item but where is this dark skull thingy?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Just a tip: I suggest, to make it easier level-wise... Go to the water temple, then fire temple, then earth. Also, I suggest getting the items needed for Legion before you finish the water temple (Basically, just look on the walkthrough for the location of them all), then get legion and level him up a bit and get some skills for him. Then, use him in all of the guardian fights because he can learn the spells the guardians use like Raging Inferno and Tsunami. It makes Legion extremely powerful. Hope this helped.

Hmmm... It seems that: Going after the Miasmal Chalices + 2 characters with Double Gold activated = ... Well, you know where this is going. I can practically buy the fairies without even trying to get more gold!
