I see all the top rated comments complaining about haters and it really suprises me, I mean, I've always very much enjoyed these games, so I'm suprised there's even hate for it.
Even though the game is awesome as a whole, I think I like the comedy best, 'It's better because it heals more HP, and has more friends, and listens to more popular music, as well as more sex, oh yes' AWESOME!

This game is one of the most impressive flash games I've ever played if not the best. What's not to like about it? Great music, an entertaining plot, plenty of good humor and over 15 hours of gameplay. I look forward to playing the 4th installment when it comes out

I've beaten this game before and now iI bought some crazy headphones yo play this game and savor the sound but not just the sound but to come back and beat the game and getting every little secret thing ... this is game without a doubt the best FREE game i have played in my entire life!! Shout out to Pseudolonewolf for being by far the best developer ever!!

I originally played this game for the best of 2010 award. But by the time I beat the sun temple, I was hooked. This is a really nice fantasy game. It reminds me of my carefree days playing final fantasy I & II on PS1 .... ah good times. :) Now I gotta play from Chapter 1 (for the story). Overall though I reckon the developer(s) did a great job constructing this game.

Maaaaaaaan, I hate the Fire Temple. Why in God's name do I INSIST on bringing Sslen'ck, Gloria, and Zach in there? They're ALL weak to fire! CURSE MY RANDOM COMPULSIONS!

My only problem with the game is that you don't learn skills/reactions/whatever unless they are equipped. I understand not being able to use them when they are unequipped, but not using the AP earned in battle to learn a skill from an equipped item...kinda makes me wonder what the point of the double AP skill is. I can't use it and learn any of the skills it would be useful for.

A great game, but it's kind of disappointing that I can't fill my encyclopedia without starting over from halfway through chapter 2 because I didn't meet zach until chap. 3...

a great game 5 / 5, the only fault this game have is to save your progress, I played the two first series and had abilities, items, equipment for Mardek 3, "when I was already well under way" there was a defect and I lost everything, and that not is everything, with the passage of time is very slow the process of saving your progress. I have the latest version of flash, I will finish this epic game
I could vote 4 / 5, but I consider the great story and gameplay it has

I can't think of a word to describe how amazing this game is, so I must invent one. How about... suplosity! No, thats stupid. Umm... Inclederous! No... Winnabego! No... Anyway, this game is awesome. And I strongly believe that the creatures that formed the Violet Crystal were Happy Johnny and Pixies. THE DAMN PIXIES!

@Noxaa I suggest u play through at least once before taking them on so that u don't get wasted in one thunderstorm

To all of those who are playing this game without playing the other 2 chapters first, I strongly recommend going back and playing through them. You can get Mardek to a much better level to start with, get WAY better gear (if you complete the Arena in Chapter 2 for instance, you get the Champion Sword. very good light elemental sword), and certain NPC's (like Gope the bandit for ex.) will become useful later on. It will ultimately make the whole series easier to play through and you will have a better understanding of whats happening in the game

While in the sun temple, the room where you first fight the lizardmen, My map is strange. streakes of blackness, even on explored areas, but I also can see some unexplored area. plus if anyone else is experiencing this glitch.

Gotta say it again: Youre probably the best flash game creator out there, Pseudo. It's simply amazing what you put into existance as one-man-show. I love your games, which seem more detailed than some stuff made by crews of dozens of people. Keep it up (even though youll never read this)!

Really good game. It has great music, an interesting plot, and hilarious characters. On my second time playing through the series, and I'm not tired of it yet. As for all those haters... everyone's entitled to their own opinion and I'm respecting that. No one is denying that this is inspired by Final Fantasy. But there's nothing wrong with that. If every game had to be completely original, where would we be? Anyway, the bottom line is, no one is making you play this. IT'S FREE. You don't have to play it if you don't want to. So don't leave hateful comments all over the comments board, please.
Just 2 suggestions - one, it would be nice to have a way to transfer entire inventories from person to person (it gets tedious moving every item). Also, it might be easier and faster if the menu was entirely mouse-controlled... it seems like a lot of people can't figure it out.
All in all, good game. Great job Pseudolonewolf! 8D

When I started playing these series last week, I started with Chapter Three. To put it mildly, it was a rocky start and continuing was even rockier. I had most everything completed, except for everyone's solo arena challenge, and I went to fight the first superboss. I got ripped a new one, mainly because my guys were mid 30s. Eventually, you find yourself grinding hard either to gain levels, learn skills, active, reactive, or passive, or to get certain loot items to make Legion's best gear. This past Friday, I said frak it, and started with Chapter one. Now I know more about the storyline, and I carried over some essential equipment. Needless to say, I'll be able to probably do much better this time around. Champ Sword ftw!!!
