My reaction to beating the Fire Guardian: YES! I love the Ballad of Balance! *World Saviors pop out of nowhere and spam glaciate and immolate* It was so easy in Chapter 2, why not here :c

I love a lot of the item descriptions, like: Viper Claw, "But vipers don't even HAVE claws!!1", Golden M Helm/ M Helm, the whole thing, really, same with the Expensive Suit, all of the potions (and the secret ones), and a lot more.

Got An awesome tip. Don't run from any battles, find all the chests and get as much of the best equipment as you can get! Do Side quests too! If you do all of that, you'll be sufficient level to face the bosses of the game, and maybe the super bosses.

i beated king of gonzor i figured i out!i did not need to use too much power drinks and magic drinks for elly and mardek legion was my weakener using acid and gloria would do the null effect last time i used to much and wasted and i fought qualna and died so i reset D:

Third rerun sofar, I honestly can't believe how extended this game is with all its achievements, treasure chests and sidequests! It's a pain alone to fill up the monster encyclopedia. I love your game Pseudolonewolf and hope part 4 and other of your games will be released soon on Kongregate! Also, become a fellow Fighunter everyone!

How come after 3 years of being a Royal Knight, Mardek is the exact same level? Even after 1 year of being a guard, he still gained a single level.

Mardek RPG 3 is a great example of the ridiculous amount of polish a game can have, even when developed by a small flash developer. I put this game in the ranks of the best golden age SNES RPG's, such as Chrono Trigger, FF3 (6), and the Lufia series. I mean this game just looks and feels amazing with alot of depth. Its been 3 years and its still in my opinion the best flash game.

I keep re-loading my game by a Trilobite Warrior to get a Trilobite Staff, and I know the drop rate is 20%, but I am on my 8th battle with it and still no drop. Suggestions?

@sk8rdude: Even if you've progressed past the Dark Temple, you can still go back to the Temple and get encounters (they'll just happen less frequently).

As much as I am in love with this game, I have to say, the fact that if you miss even ONE chalice that you can't do any of the final-game fun stuff. I missed out on SO MUCH just because I didn't get the dark chalice because I didn't know it had any use, and figured I could come back and get it, but nope, now my 40 hour game is completely ruined, and I have to start from scratch. Just thought I would like to thank you for that flawless programming.
Sincerely, apparently the only guy who tried to beat the game without the walk-through.

TIP: if one of your characters has "drain hp" activated and you play elwyen's song of balance, your whole team absorbs hp.

I cant figure out what's up with the dreamworld. I got gloria in my party but we dont go into the dreamworld. Im just walking around the cave. WTF?!

Awww I was playing the downloaded version, completed all sidequests, and transferred the save file from local to browser; it only recorded my solo arena in achievement :( otherwise, great game and I hope the sequel come soon :D

The game is fun and all, yeah. But that game over message makes me want to punch the developer in the mouth. Not saying I won't play or rate the game highly, just saying screw you.
