Strongly dislike the side-step feature. Only go in the direction I direct, thank you. I can't tell what can and can't be walked through with this graphics style, and the "helpful" redirect just sends me into the hands of my enemies.

I wish there were a way to tell my character's health, other than opening the character info or waiting for the screen to creep red.

You've done an outstanding job. This is simply terrific, and everything that I've seen contributed in the the original cardinal quest has been taken to heart and improved upon. Absolutely and positively well done.

Sing hallelujah, it's only been 3 decades of this genre, but we've finally found a dungeon crawler that automatically discards any items that are strictly inferior to what you already have. Add in the how-did-we-ever-survive-without-this feature of side-stepping obstacles (never thought of it, but the game moves so much smoother with it) and this is a hell of a great game to get for free. 5/5.

i thin thespyglas bonuses should permanent even after death but instead of doing it with an item do iy something like kill 50 enemies of the type get the stats kill 100 and get the bonus (change number as u like and maybe add more than one bonus depending on how many u killed it would really add a lot to replayability

Is it just me, or am I more likely to die on easy mode at an early place? i mean, if i didn't have an ankh i'd be dead by part 2 of act 2

@MatrixLegion I think I know the reason. Guys who managed to get 25th rank are skilled enough to try and beat imp badge. I think it needs just some good play in act 3 on suicide to get 120k score.
Sad that I reinstalled OS on my laptop and lost my progress (I sure was 25th rank already) so I have to play from start again. This game is rather tiring and I'm not in mood to play it for several consecutive hours =P Just giving it a try once per day or something.

It would be cool to be able to see achievements without having to exit to the main menu to do so. Awesome game though. Keep up the good work.

I often see this "autopause the game when clicked outside game screen" feature. But seriously, what the sense of it in a turn-based game? Sometimes I have to distract from game to something else, like chat. And the music stops. So I have to mute music and listen to my own playlist, but if I like the in-game music (and I sure do like it), why should I?

I love this game. I am an old gamer from spain, and I have played this type of games since early eighties. It remembers very much Fatal Laberinth, but with a simple and much playable GUI, system and controls. Great job!
PS: I need more levels!!! Haha

Thank you for realizing that having a screen full of junk where you collect stuff that you neither need or want only to go back to town where you waste half your time selling said junk does not enhance game play.

I "like" how you have to farm tons of (morale) points and then you guys ask money for those point and at the same time you give us the continue option which consume at least 3k and it is completely useless unless in some rare occasion. Basically when you farm for points, use continues is just a huge step backward. But ofc, is not like you have a confirm button or something. I just wasted 2k of point for no reason. You didn't say "hey it's useless use a continue at the beginning" and is not even that. I understood that on my own during the first game play. Point is, it's easy to missclick and waste point and you did this on purpose so shame on you. Meanwhile i just revived against my will and i was ready to buy an upgrade.

Wow . Great game! Very well thought out and executed. The only thing I really don't like is the controls. Sometimes when you put the cursor past an enemy it doesn't attack or accidentally skips your turn. Otherwise then that, awesome! 5/5

Jeez this game is hard. Playing a fighter it took 3 tries and a ton of Shadow Walking/Fear casting hit and run tactics to win just on normal mode. Was this game based on 1st edition D&D?

There are things that annoy me about this game. Map is exceedingly hard to see; sometimes very hard to tell where you haven't been to. The whole "walk to the side if you can't go forward" makes for very irritating missteps when its not clear that the space is blocked. Otherwise I suppose I'd enjoy this game were I in the mood for it.
