I was able to buy the 5 portable energies using stamps for a friend, and after that, the 5 x 1 button changed from buy to use - but the game still crashes if I click on that.

And also on no longer being able to gather resources from inactive friends, so ditto on why they'd change how friending works only to make the most useful part of that inaccessible soon after.

Today I tried to gather resources from my random friends' camps and got an error message. It seems like it is no longer possible to collect resources from inactive friends. I just wonder what's the point in having randomly selected accounts auto-accept friendship requests if there is nothing one could with them - not even delete them again.

I bought a single portably energy with a premium stamp (yes just one) and it unblocked helping friends with rocket launcher. Now I can use 5 free energy per friend, like in the old version

Thanks @junior555, you guys were busy while I slept. I really wish you could add to a friends launcher with the usual harvesting energy the way we used to do it in the old version. Asking for energy batteries or seals seems really mercenary, so I really appreciate those that help and I'll do the same when I have the batteries.

Oh crap. You have to click the blue icon top right corner of bat. Then click top right corner of bat box. That is the request one. I gave you the one to the favorites on the top left...my bad...

You click the bat. A heart will appear in the top left corner of the bat box. A window opens with 3 slots. Click the first slot. The bat will show up. I am going to send you an invite to your game messages. Click the link and come back so I can send you a bat.

@TunedIn that would be helpful, I've got one in there I can't help with since I don't have the item but that red ! sits there and annoys me. I also wish the free gift and the wishlist for friends were in the same section, if you click the wishlist under a friend to gift them something it takes it from your warehouse, not the free gifts, even if the item is a free gift.

@Cherishing I think you have to be Kongregate friends too for that to work, at least that is how it was with me and some others here. The friending in this game isn't easy, but we'll get there.

There is a 2nd way to manually add Kong friends too. Go to where your in-game friends are. Click invite more. You will see a empty box to type in. It says in the box, "search all kongregate". I use to copy and paste a players name n there, but since the recent update, I have been typing it in the box and then a drop down box appears with a list of names that start to match. Once I see the player I want to invite to game, I click the plus sign (+) beside their name. Then I click, "send message". They should get an invite in their game messages to join you in the game.

lol thanks @Cherishing this is an odd way to add friends in game :D back in the day u just had to add friends on kongregate and you would automatically be friends in game also

@TheNero121, check your Kongregate game messages. You probably have some invites to this game from those who are trying to add you. Click the link in just one of the messages and it will bring you back to the game. Check your friend list in the game itself to see if the new friend was added. Then they can send you gifts. A quick shortcut to your kong game messages is at the top of this page. It is the little bell at the top of this page. Once you see the new friend added, go back to game messages and click the link for the next friend. Lather, rinse, and repeat...lol

Hi all, fyi, I'm heading out on vacation in the morning for a week. Game time will be limited due to family activity. In the meantime, I'm stuck on getting cast iron to finish my Press. i sent a few requests. I have also seen some game messages on my profile. I'll try to get invites out this coming week.

Loading Fix Update. It looks like we’ve finally resolved the issue that was causing the game to fail loading at the start of a new day.

@ junior555, I got rid of the last request that I could not fulfill by clicking the bat in their wishlist. Now... if there is nothing in their wishlist, we might be stuck with it...lol

I made the mistake of being in the game when the daily tasks flipped over, it threw me out "server error' and now I can't get back in. Just hangs on loading.

We’ve just rolled out some changes that may help with this issue.
Could you please try loading the game again now and see if it works?

@KarlisB18, yea it helps to leave at least one nickel crater, or buy and place one later on for friend zone. But there is also a task if I remember correctly, where you need to gather nickel at your camp too much later on.

When you unlock the "Drop Zone" area, please don't remove the nickel craters because friends can also profit from them once a day which is much better.

I wonder if I can cancel all the in-game random friend invites that did not respond from long ago, and then maybe they can show up again to re-invite them.

Thanks for the answers guys. Well I just had a bit of a shock, went to join the discord, 15 seals isn't anything to sneeze at and the link caused a crash, not of the game, of my computer. Not happy about that at all. This game may have been brought back too early, way too many bugs.

Yes, the old game was more lenient with letting one help friends build things. Got my stamps right away too. I'm also getting a suggestion to join a discord to get stamps, but no way to do so.
When you say there’s no way to join the Discord, what exactly happens?

I don't mean to spam the messages, but 12hrs later, game still won't load. I tried the 'trick' mentioned, by adding a 'random' character to the URL, but didn't work. I'm using Chrome, but tried Safari, still won't load. I see some folks are getting in the game, I'm not so lucky. So, don't think I quit the game or am not helping, I'm just not able to.... ... @Anubischick: I got my stamps/seals right away after a DM to the devs. I hate starting over, but the stamps/seals are a big help.

Hey just wanted to check something, in the old version of this game couldn't you top up the launchers etc on a friend's land by sacrificing some of your energy that you would use to harvest there? Now it looks like you have to buy it with seals or donate a battery. I was sure it didn't used to be that way. Speaking of seals though has anyone got their levelX25 seals from the dev for this game, and if so, how long did it take?

The game is still down for me @ 12:30pm EST/EDT. I tried the 'random' character ( '?' - no quote marks). Game still did not load for me. Sorry you can't visit me, but I can't visit you either.

(i swear its not malicious) im also a programmer so i just tried messing around with it to see if something would work.

@Anubischick, yea, I see now. It seems to be too many steps to friend someone for Kongregate players. Those in game random friends are so much easier to add.
