Awesome game! Just few suggestions: 1. Add a save! After a while it gets hard to get up, and if you get reset to the point you started after "ascension", it pretty sucks. 2. Please add a "low grafic" option so people like me with bad Computer dont get killed by laags from the animated stuff. 3. A "Sell all resource" button! Even if you build up a perfect production line it somehow start to stuck up alot of the stuff. And im to lazy after time to sell all resouce one by one. - But non the less its a very nice game tho! 4/5 sofar. Hope i can change it soon to 5/5 ;)
Thanks for your suggestions. The newest version has most of them implemented in a way. I'm still considering the low graphics option, but I will at least try to improve the performance.

Fun resource management game. You've done a lot more than you need to, though - moveable boxes, things flying all over the screen, individual tickers... You could have just set your resources up with "X/sec" counters, like Kittens game or Dark Room. It's also a little frustrating how herbs tick slightly faster than potions, so you get surplus even in efficient systems.
Thanks for the kind words. Tbh the movable boxes were the quicker solution compared to manually place them somewhere.
I changed how clicks produce new items with version 1.1.0. You don't have to wait until all resources arrived before you can click potions.

It gets cumbersome and repetitive after 3 rounds. No way to buy multiples (10X, 50X, 100X) at a time. Also, need to refresh the screen to move on, which causes all ads to reload.
Great concept, though.

Okay, sooo I had this up for quite some time, trying to get 1E18 for the next upgrade, had a lot of stuff and was pushing close. Then I closed the game, thinking the "board" with all the stuff would save. Coming back to the game, all researches and whatever was wiped, but I still had 10E12 money, which isnt even close to enough money to get back to where I left off. Whats that all about? It'll take me quite some time to get back to where I left off and it kinda killed my mood for playing this game again... It's shit having your progress wiped, even if its only partially..

Could be nice but "asccension" needs some improvement. Save is seriously lacking, starting after each reload from start with just money you saved from previous session. Some auto-sell system is also up to consideration

Games longer than 5 min without save feature always get 1/5 from me. This should be a basic feature unless you call your game an alpha demo. BUT this game also won't open for me like 90% of these new WebGL platform games. I'm using Firefox, and none of you Devs on either end seem to be addressing this problem.
You're probably right that a save feature is a must have. For me releasing the game was mostly an experiment to see if people are interested in this concept.
It seems that for some people WebGL games don't run automatically, because their video cards are blacklisted because of bad performance or bugs. You can turn it on manually if you want to try the games anyway: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Blocklisting/Blocked_Graphics_Drivers#How_to_force-enable_blocked_graphics_features

lol your kidding...right? i was playing for a bit and the price to upgrade the x1 button to x2 was at $10, 000. i refresh and it's now asking for $1.0E6. that is quite the price increase (also...i dunno how much 1.0E6 is. is it million, billion...what?

Is it possible to get some tooltips or names for the herbs and potions? Thus far, it doesn't give much for the imagination to latch on to.
Thanks for your comment. It is true, that it would add something to the "immersion" of the game, but it is also a lot of work, UI wise as well as the content generation itself

I refreshed after having enough money, with the pop-up up, and it merely took me back to the beginning. Meh... I like the cascading recipes. That part is terrific. It's unfortunate that an otherwise clever game is hindered by something that feels like a clumsy work-around, at best. I'd recommend biting the bullet and figure out what it would take to do an in-game reset.
It seems that the current save mechanic doesn't work especially on Safari, but also some other browsers with high security settings. I've debugged this the last couple of hours, but wasn't able to find a fix that would be ready soon. I also have the feeling that a general save system, which allows you to continue where you left the last session, is much more important right now. This means I will stop trying to fix the problem that the level up isn't working for some players and instead refocus on the save feature that is wanted by the majority of the players. I have to apologize that the level up isn't working for you and some other players, but I hope you can understand my decision.

It is taking way too long to get to level 5 and I just gotta close this. I guess since my progress won't be saved, I'm done with this game. Bye.

As soon as you fix the save, this game has a lot of potential. It has that factorio feeling that most games strive and fail. You need a lot of tweaks to make it actually a contender. My suggestion would be an option to disable animations.
Thanks for the kind words. I hope the save is working for you now.
I'll try to improve the performance of the animations first, because I think they are quite important to the feed of the game.

Really nice game :)
* Icons get stuck sometimes when you put them near the mute buttons.
* I like to have things organize. Is there a way to make the icons a bit smaller?
* Like many before me, save is the sh*t.
Thanks for a great game :D

Ideas for the next version, Configurable sell all button, a buy 10, 100 button for goods, Save feature would be nice, and an option to turn off the animations for the goods.

I was pushing some of the production boxes and one of them stopped working. It has plenty of materials but does nothing, whole production line is running dry now. Don't like the income multiplier that much, I think a production bonus would be better. Nice game otherwise.

i made 10.000 > made an "upgrade" > restarted following instructions > still have multiplier x1 >>>> made another 10.000 > upgraded [i wasn't even charged 10.000 for upgrade] > restarted > still have multiplier x1 >>>> made another 10.000 > upgraded [i wasn't even charged 10.000 for upgrade] > restarted > still have multiplier x1 >>>> on fourth restart i got an UPGRADE - The browser could not allocate enough memory for the WebGL content. If you are the developer of this content, try allocating less memory to your WebGL build in the WebGL player settings ..... can you make it little more retarded, like "restart your computer" or "turn off and on electricity in whole apartment"

Accidentally moved one of the icons outside the window and now I can't retrieve it :/ needs a "reset position" button so all the "missing" plants/potions go back to the middle

The swooshy motion of all the ingredients is hell on my processor. Maybe a little fade animation within the box so you're not making twenty screen elements would be better?
The music was created by estudiocafofo.com and offered for free, because they cancelled their production. I don't know if they were inspired by daredevil :)

@silvadel. I have an i7 (8 cores as you say) with 16gb of RAM. The game barely gets 1% processor. Allow me to doubt your statement.

Love the game, but please make a save button and a refresh in game. Cloud save would be great but hey local also works.
Some suggestions:
1. Maybe an alchemist lab where we can mix potions or plants, see where it gets us. 1 berry, 5 yellows etc.
2. Some upgrade system
3. Some prestige more than the x1 (doesn't work for me on refresh btw) (Firefox)
4. Love the game concept 4/5
Thanks for your feedback. I'm currently working on a system that brings back the game the way you left it your last session. This of course also means that you will not need to refresh your browser for the level up anymore. I hope I'll have the new version ready in one or two days.

My PC has 8 cores. This game lags and has one core spiked at a near constant 100% and 3 cores sitting at like 5% and the other 3 cores at 0%
The WebGL implementation of the engine I'm using (Unity 3d) doesn't provide multithreading. The means that everything needs to be calculated with one core. But you're right, the game is too laggy anway. I will try to develop the performance further.

It's not your description of the reset that is the problem. It's the reset itself. It is not giving 2X the money on refresh (and no I did not spend the money... I had over $500,000). The game just doesn't work like you say it does.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I've just uploaded a version with some tweaks and bugfixes. Most importantly I changed this level up popup. I hope it makes more clear now, that it's (currently) intended to start a new game after refresh. This might change in the future, but it's nothing I can do ad hoc. To make it clear: The game currently doesn't save the overall gamestate. Only the income multiplier (level) is saved.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Leveled up and had to refresh the browser. Little clunky, but it worked. Would be nice if it gave more description as to the fact that is a full reset and not just a bonus in the multiplier

Game would benefit from a button to change the quality or turn off the animation. It gets really laggy a lot quicker than it probably should. At least on my Computer. About halfway through level two, my computer just isn't handling it very well anymore.
Thanks for your feedback! I will check out how much effort this is. Have you tried to run the game in fullscreen mode? For some reasons games run much smoother in fullscreen on my machine.
Thanks for posting again. Theoretically it should work in Chrome/Win7. With the recent update I've also fixed a bug that happened when you reached the money needed ($10,000) but spent it before you restarted the game. I hope this was the case here and it works now.

For me, it looks like it loaded a completely different version of the game, but the circle says X2 and if you go to sell something you get twice as much income as you got for selling it the first time. I'm in Firefox. i think that's the way it's meant to be done, but it might need to be explained a little better so people don't think they just had their game reset.
Please read my other comment above. This is an intended behaviour, which i obviously wasn't able to make clear enough. I hope the newest version will improve this.

It says refresh your browser to start with double income when you click on the x1 button. Refreshed and everything is wiped. BAD! No double!
