There needs to be an autofire button. Alt+A working as autofire is either a bug, or crazy. It opens a Windows Alt menu and doesn't stay on.
I want a game that works before I vote it higher than a 1.

good game, but still the 1st one is WAY better, the having to upgrade your mana pool and units every single round gets really annoying
2/5

arows do nowt. you can sit and fire arrows. as soon as you launch a attack. countered by 89 units and black and red dragon! how do you beat that. just seems like its really oddly planned. kinda prefered the first one. but there is a few bits i like in the second

Samarahuel's Constructive Criticism #1 for Epic War:
The plot could be re-written. You need to get the plot explained in as few words as possible, or else you'll lose the reader's interest.

I can't express how grateful I am for an auto-fire button, but making it ALT+A was the dumbest solution imaginable...pressing ALT tries to mess with the menu in IE, so you have to press the buttons at EXACTLY the same time...

wumtog: he attacks your castle by hitting the ground doing 500 damage each time

Then I upgrade everything else max and wait for mana to hit its limit and send an angel. Wait for the mana to build back up then send a paladin, wizard, crossbowman, cannon. Rinse and repeat. After a min let mana build up and send 2nd angel. I have not lost with humans yet using this strategy. Hope it helps. :)

I have only played through once but my strategy for the humans is this: By the end everything should be upgraded max so you can use the angel. When battle starts I upgrade arrows 2x. Then mana pool. I alternate each until they are both maxed, mana at 9999.

woot! first comment of the day, anyway, no, i doubt anyone reads the text, it makes no sense, and this is a run on sentence, who cares?

even though it has practically the same principals as the first epic war, i seem to like this one a lot more. The upgrade system is fairly week though, should have the upgrades split into smaller groups and abilities etc.

one of the most addictive games i've played on this site for a while... it needs some tweaking and balancing. Because the computer is often... WAY overpowered. But... the challenge of getting it just right is great!

Diealot, learn what something means before you try to talk about it. Epic does mean something long and poetic, heroic, majestic and impressively great. that is what this game is based off of.

I'm not a fan at all of not having any permanent upgrades, therefore I must say the upgrading system has lost value for me, it just prolongs battles unnecessarily.
A speed-up button would be nice as well. I don't mind playing at fast speeds later on in a game, and for early on I'd want to get them onto my side.
Other than that, great game, but the time needed to play through the game (and no badges) is not worth it IMO.

I'm still really not liking the alt thing. I've accidentally gone into my favorites and navigated from the page three times now.
