Needs a better description of units, ie what sort of damage they do, movement speed and such. It's also tough to get an HUD of a unit's stats by hovering the mouse over them, seems really picky. Still a good game.

Praise whoever it is over.
My tips for final level:angels and forest guardians backed by healers..that's it...healers really helped;protect your point investment..I had about 150 healers backing 4-6 angels and 3 guardians at the end and it was looking like I wasn't going to take anymore casualties...also:nevr use fire on the final level boss,it seems to heal him..especially dragons.

This game is basically tug of war,but the governing dynamics of strength, mass and endurance have been replaced with attrition, initiative and patience...patience being the main factor:are 80 points worht of badges worth sitting through this.
Another thing..just giving a boss 3.2 million hit points is no substitute for actual dificulty..it only makes it take longer(more patience)The graphics and art are improved over the last version but this only seems to make it slower(more patience).

Typical battle: Use my arrows to hold back everything until I've paid for all my upgrades, then spam Paladins until the enemy decides to send 80 guys at once, at which point I use my specials until I finally drive them back and win.

Also...to create the sons of destiny, and ally yourselves with the elves, you massacre them with the help of the paladin. Then in the next story scene, you wonder how you can get them to join you. Great story line. Just great.

A lot of improvements over the first epic war, but still suffers from being too much of the same thing for far too long.

Lv 7: send a large enough force to destroy enemy base before the big guys come. 3-4 paladins and some long range will do it.

Just like the first was, this game is repetitive, slow, easy, and just plain boring. There are changes from the last one, yes, but none of them serve to make the game any more exciting than it was before.
Please don't make a third, I don't want to have to play yet another one of these to get a card.

Whydoesnotitwork says the storyline seems written by a six year old; this is news to me, because there was TOO MUCH READING!!! Hell, I LOVE to read, and I skipped through almost all of the storyline! The game is fun (gets a bit repetitive when you're trying to fill all the armies slots), but I would suggest putting a little graphics in the story line to make it seem a little less like reading a book, especially at 1024x768. Printing is too small! Thanks for the hard work, anyhow.
