I enjoyed the first one, because I could do something else in the boring first phase of the level. In EW2 the tower stops shooting as soon as the game loses focus. So I just have to watch slowly moving enemy units, which is (IMHO) a waste of time for people who played the first game already.
In addition it'd be great to see Exp based on how quick you can solve the level (if level exp don't depend on that one). It's harder to do it quick then to start your comp and wonder away.

A good strat for the last two levels, at least if you are playing human, is to immediately up your barracks to level 3 and then buy a paladin this will stop those annoying hobitses from thwacking your castle. Whenever that one dies buy a new one. Then upgrade your tower to max then upgrade your mana to 9999, then buy an archangel. While your archangel is destroying stuff you should max out all your buildings and then send units as you feel like. I would recommend remaining close to max mana and checking to see if you can summon another one often. For The End: this guy is big, tough, and has no real physical resistance, the problem is his huge damage radius. The trick I used was to have him engage an archangel close to my castle. This allowed me to have another archangel ready when the first was at about 6k hp. The Siege units are what you want they are just outside his damage radius and he has no resistances, be sure to stay near full mana though so you can summon the next angel.

ok this game is seriously flawed..just when im about to win totem/protector will show up and and decimate my paladins and i cant do shit cus its out of range.cant you make the arrow like pass through the castle and kill the forces instead of limiting the range? 3/5

1 star for the lord of hell.
He absorbs so you have too many wizards deployed you just heal him.
his fist attack kills your castle so if he is out of range of arrows for a quick kill, you lose. lame.

Overall nice improvement over the first, graphics, more story, etc. But there are 2 peeves for me:
1) Upgrading every level can be a royal pain, an option to change game speed would rule. Especially for stuff like Exp. farming old maps for new races.
2) My savegame just disappeared!

Tip for the end boss: The elven titan will disrupt his attack. The human titan doesn't. Makes this battle much easier (possible at all?).

Fixing the auto-fire error:
If you're experiencing the game freeze after you hit the alt key, for certain browsers, you just need to click on the game again somewhere. The game should continue as normal.
Auno, I was freezing as well, and it happens everytime I hit alt, but I think it just makes the flash player inactive or something, so when I click anywhere on the flash screen again, things start moving again, and the auto-fire is on. =)

That was a little harsh. You obviously put a lot of work into this. The backgrounds are beautiful and the gameplay's still fun.

and wtf do clerics do? Not kill anyone, obviously, despite having an attack rating. I'm guessing they heal but can't confirm that because I can't actually get mouseover info! I really enjoyed the first game. This one looks fun, despite the research being more limited...but please fix the design issues. Why have an info bar at top centre when you have one at the bottom right? Why not let us get info on all those buttons on the bottom before they're available? etc.

I have a stratergy (excuse me if i spelt that wrong) that will help you with your shooting... hopefully =D. Alright, scroll all the way to your left (your tower) then scroll right until you can only see the WHOLE of your arrow head on the crossbow on top of your tower... Then when your shooting, auto-shoot and fire just past your screen. If you scroll where the arrows are shooting then you will see that you're firing at a good distance, the reason your screen cuts off everything but the arrow head on your tower, is that when they avoid the 'arrow wall' (how i like to call it) or pretty much where you're shooting, you can aim alot better other than when you cant see the arrow...
If this helps comment? =D
