WTH?! Just because I get close to winning the game unleashes this GOD wave? Seriously, it was producing about 10-15 enemy at a time, then all of a sudden....50 enemy including 7 or 8 of the best units in the game start spawning like crazy.

The game itself is interesting, but the last three battles each take like an hour to complete. It's not like they take strategy, just time, time, time.
Also, no API for badges on a Kongregate exclusive game? :(

Main problem for me so far is the auto-fire. It's just plain annoying the way it's done, why can't you just have the arrows constantly fire, all the time, unless we tell them to stop? (And why would we want them to stop, they don't damage our troops now..)

Firstly, let me just say that this game is totally amazing. 5/5
I wouldn't change a thing. Having almost beaten it now it seems that all that has been done has balanced the game out for a perfect entertainment and learning curve, with consistenly escalating action. Great game!
Now to go beat chapter 17!

To kill the super wave just let your troops die so they can advance far enough for you to shoot them. Then send in another wave of pallys to stall/kill them as you shoot your arrows.

woo lol i was fighting orcs on lvl 9 i think or 10 and when i got their health down to 2k with paladins and crossbows they sent of 64 of those demons on wolves and 30 of those fire magicians, i still won lol

for orion8er try to upgrade ur tower till the max then spam arrows to keep them at bay while u build up lots of mana and unleash a whole lot of paladins and crossbowmen
have at least 5000+ mana so u can keep spamming bowmen while ur mana increase

once you get the castle down to a certain point the biggest wave which no matter what is unstoppable will come so you have to have a large force attacking the castle of that force will destroy you but if the castle dies first the wave does too

dude i was on round 9 with the orcs and their castle had 50hp left except a super wave came out and destroyed 5 cannons before i could hit the castle again and i didnt have any mana left*
*worst possible situation

Get at least level 3 barracks and save up enough mana to get 3-5 pallys and you should be able to beat level 6. Either that or send 15 or so warriors 10 or so archers and a couple catapults.
