The instructions on stage 2 talked about it, and I have 7000 mana saved up, but how do I upgrade?

Lol, I had an epic battle in chapter 3.
We were at a stand off sending attacks and counters at each other. I got tired of it and spammed all the catapults, archers and men I could.
about 108 units of mine were on screen as it ended.

when i first saw how much mana it costs to just to make the cannon i was like "WHAT THE??" but i didnt know about the mana boost. so awesome game 5/5

MESSAGE TO ALL GRINDERS
if you are a very very skilled player you will know that it is possible to beat this game with out any grinding all you need to do is have great determination and dont attack untill you have 9999 mana then send everything you got at the enemy even a supreme contant thing of hobits squires and archers can pwn anything i beat this game by killing lvl 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 and 16 then skiped past the end and killed the lord of hell and i didnt repeat a single level legitly speaking

my statagey is get the castle to max first or maximize arrow with other things lvl 4 or 3
quick tip! if u r finding a lvl hard do one that is sort of normal hard to get more exp!
1 more tip to get lots of kills and maybe on todays best
first use the same computer or laptop
next go on lvl 7 u need max arrow for this now get max mana then max base and arrow kill all the people that arrow has missed then go to auto fire with 0 go to sleep watch tv play your ds and so on
then you will have about 5000 kills in a hour if u want to save do it or carry on doing something else!

for the last boss when he arrives dont use anything but angels and dragons cause he only attacks things on the ground leave me a shout if u have a problem

Secondly, your tactic runs at least 24minutes, 9 secondss for the lowest time to 29 minutes, 57 secs. during my trial runs. How did my tactic do? 16 minutes, 17 secs lowest to 22 minutes, 32 secs highest. I know its not much of a difference in time, but if you compare the lowert to the highest numbers your method is over 8 minutes slower than mine was. Considering you were bragging about how much faster "your way" was and the deal about not re-playing any level like painboy536 said...I'm getting the big shovel out, cuz I don't like stepping in it.

Fishybro; Yeah, you are right about my tactic except for just one thing...It does not take "30-35 or 40" minutes to do. For one thing its impossible to summon "200 Totems" and get them behind your Titans. Impossible! I tried your tactic 3 times and mine. While yours does o.k. as far as a decent tactic, keep in mind your Angel Knights get picked off one by one Since ya know, they've got the lowest health of any Titan unit and is risky at best. Where is mine keeps "The End" in the best spot(for angle of your arrows!) and my Arch Angels have 18,000 HPs. The most HPs of any Unit.

I'm pretty sure the story is wrong.... The final boss was probably the overpowered Arrow maker... however you call them... Cheap labor was involved, let's just say that.

NICE I beat lvl 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 and 16 and 18 with out replaying a level once and i beat the lord of hell with out any angels or dragons or demons :) owned

And dork but did i not say your tactic takes a lot of skill and efort because its a realy long tactic all you need to do is make about 40-50 totems before they are able to kill you and once you got 50 totems make an angel or titan so your totems wizards etc can take a lot of his health before he proceeded and your angel wipes his army out then summon another angel they will both tank him before the first one dies then summon a third angel the 3 angels will tank before the first one dies but the first one should have around 500hp then keep summoning angels and any extra mana you have send it into totems

Uhm...FishyBra, No. I SAID rotate Angels & Titan units keeping at least 1 fresh unit on him. I never stated to "use 200 totems" either, I meant only about a dozen. Futhermore, I also stated to SPAM Hobbits "if" you have to stall him for your Titan. It takes some skill & smarts to know how to do my tactic, but it is unquestionably the fastest and best way to defeat 'The End'
